Been here many times! They have so many different board games! I love how they always have a wide selection of interesting local craft beers. Their snacks are good too! The staff are so friendly. Great place!

Such a fun spot with a great atmosphere. The coffee and craft beer selection is top notch. I really enjoy my visits here and it's mostly because of the great staff.

Place has changed. Only caters to the extreme left now, regular people are not made to feel welcome.

Fave place in the world! Ya gotta try their blueberry coffee when it is in. I love their dark hot chocolate made with dark choc nibs. Plus the beers are unlike any around. Great service too, great place to chill and read.

Great selection of craft beer and hot beverages. The "almost too large" sized hot chocolate was actually just the right size! Wide selection of games to play, all were clean and no pieces missing. We went on a rainy yucky night and the place was almost full, Brew Wizards could use some more tables or even a bigger location to hold a larger crowd.

Cute spot for a date night or just to bring kids they have bunch of bored game and amazing coffee and Kraft beer from local place and pickle plater cant go wrong very well priced and staff and amazing

Loooove the BW! One of our favorite places in Durham region, no joke. They always have something good on tap, and the coffee is amazing. Really good selection of board games as well. We always make it a point to bring out of town guests here as well.

Great place to bring your kids for a relaxing day. Play board games and have a drink/snack. Great selection of beer as well.

What a wonderful place! The food is cheap but plentiful, the drinks are great, the game selection is fun, and the service is beyond wonderful. Will definitely be back, had a great time!

Had a lovely date night here with my partner recently, great drinks, solid beer selection, tasty tasty chips and onion dip, and a great library of games to pick from. Was lots of fun, definetely will visit again when I am in Oshawa

Long time patron. Outstanding staff, killer coffee, and a great atmosphere. Nerd or not (this place has a TON of board games) this is a friendly spot for some java and the unsung jewel of the downtown. Cannot recommend Brew Wizards enough.

I can't fully convey just how awesome this place is. There's such a vast, varied and locally sourced selection of beverages and the food here is always delicious.
However, it's the way I always feel so genuinely at home here and so welcome every single visit. The staff here are brilliant humans and create such a safe space for everyone.
They're kind, compassionate, funny, skilled, nerdy (I say that as a compliment) and passionate about what they do. I deeply appreciate the work, effort and ethics they display as well as the fantastic humans that they are too.

They have a varied and brilliant collection of board games both to play and for sale and are accommodating of all players no matter how experienced a person is/isn't.

They were phenomenal during Covid and really went above and beyond to keep community members feeling safe. They continue to do so.
But overall, these words don't really do the place or the staff justice they deserve.
Check it out and I promise, the moment you step through that door, you'll instantly feel safe, welcome and at home.

This is my favourite coffee shop since moving to Oshawa. I was looking for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and this place had it all. They have delicious food and coffee. They have a new flavour coffee every week and it never disappoints. The owner and other staff member that I've met are both exceptionally friendly. I haven't had the opportunity to play any of their (very extensive) board game collection but it is so visually appealing for my inner child/nerd. They are pro LGBTQ+ which makes me feel even more welcomed finding a place in this city where people can come relax and enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee. Thank you for being awesome and running such a delightful coffeeshop️.

Super friendly and cute atmosphere! Beer selection is pretty sweet and diverse and the board games are awesome. Haven't seen Talisman in person for YEARS and it was a treat to play. 10/10 would go all the time!

If you want a super chill, yet super exciting environment then this is your place! The coffee is fanfreakingtastic, the brews are superb, and the food is lip lickingly delicious. I went with a group of friends to play some board games, there is an amazing selection but they hold events and such, too. There is a beginner DnD night which is pretty neat-o especially if you're a little nervous because you're noob.

Awesome place! Great for a fun game night with friends or family. Amazing selection of almost 300 games. Owners/workers are great guys and help when you don't understand a game. I would definitely recommend this place!

It was really fun on a quiet Sunday afternoon to play Yahtzee with my daughter and have a blue drink.

My husband and I came here for the first time last night. We didn't make a reservation, which I would highly recommend to guarantee a spot. We were very lucky and got the last available table. The atmosphere is great! Nice big tables for games, but you don't feel too crowded with the other tables. They have sound dampeners on the walls which is a great touch to keep it from getting too loud. They have an extensive game library with a huge variety, and some new games for sale too. They carry a good selection of craft beers, and have cocktails, coffee/tea, snacks as well as a nice full-service menu.

We had a great time and look forward to going again!

One of the greatest little hidden gems in oshawa. Located off the main strip this place is magical if you go inside. Go see for yourself

Really cute place, loved the atmosphere and the low-key vibe. It was pretty busy when we visited which was nice to see! Definitely a unique café/pub. I’d have given 5 stars if they didn’t charge individually to play the board games.that’s the whole point, isn’t it? I could see charging if you didn’t buy any food or drinks, but found it bizarre otherwise. Either way, we’d still return. Staff was very friendly as well!

Love this place! Great selection of local beers. Great rate and environment to come and hang. Grew up in Oshawa but moved away. Always the go to place to go for a drink when in town. Only downside is the very limited seating as it does get quite busy at time.

Biggest selection of games of any cafe I've been to. The beer is awesome and so is their other drinks. Their food menu is great, hits all the spots. The staff is awesome, and very helpful. Coming here is a fantastic night out. Will be back, again and again.

Love that we're finally getting places like these. You can tell that they care about gaming, the place is always hoping, he menu is good and decently priced, and they're all geeks. Only this is I recommend booking in advance, since it's a smaller place and there's not many of these, it fills up fast.

Really fun place to hangout with friends, play board games! Prices for stuff are pretty reasonable. SO MANY GAMES. I would highly recommend splendor if you go!

Super fun place, really friendly people. Went with a friend for D&D night and people helped us roll new characters and explained the current campaign, no drama. Staff were all lovely. I'll definitely be going back.
