Broadway Bar & Grill Innes Road

I was there July 15th, ordered a Broadway Salad and an order of Deep Fried Zucchini to share. What a shock when the zucchni came, all perfectly symmetrical and same length.frozen product! I not only knew that this existed, but it was a mushy paste inside little tubes. I only ate them because of the ridiculous cost of $15.00 (tiny plate, by the way). The salad, well you can't mess that up, but the dressing was bottled.never again. The server was amazing, though.

Loved the food. I had only been there for breakfast but this time went for supper. We will be going back.

If you want to actually EAT, go somewhere else. You will 9 times out of 10 be forgotten by your server/the kitchen. Have fun drinking your less than mediocre coffee for at least an hour while you wait to never get your food.

Super busy but somehow the kitchen kept up, and the servers were efficient and friendly. With all the snow and idiots that can’t park properly, parking was limited.

Legendary home fries. Everything else about it is okay. I'm never disappointed to ever hear that I'm going here, but also not super excited. Last time I ate at Broadway for example, was because Perkins wait to be seated was 30min.

Ot was good. A bit pricey for breakfast but the food was good and the service was exceptional

I've always loved going to Broadway's for breakfast. Might be dating myself but we used to get the Take 1 for $7.99 in high school. It's always a shock to see how pricey the "Take" breakfasts have become ($20) but such is the case everywhere. Can't forget mentioning their home fries; best in the City!

Fair prices (or better) for large portions of good food. Pleasant and positive service. And, at brunch, loads of coffee

Used to be Best breakfast in town people. Innis Road is the one I frequent most often. Get breakfast weekly for guys at work. No doubter.

Update from today;
I dont know why i cant get a hot breakfast poutine here. Today again i asked for the cheese to be melted and expected the food to be hot. When it came out the cheese was not melted and actually cold. I sent it back to be warmed up. When it came back a minute later it was not hot. I mentioned it to 2 servers and nothing was done about it. This has happened repeatedly and i dont have a reason for going back and dropping $20+ on breakfast except the potatoes. This is the last time i will put up with the disappointment. Shame on me for expecting different.

Amazing hashbrowns! Apparently they are grilled to perfection. Great spot for breakfast, The waitress was very friendly although we had to go and ask for more drinks, bill, etc.

The service was good, the food is decent and the prices are on par with similar establishments. Didn't wow me food wise, but the servers were very friendly and that does make a huge difference.

Their service sucks I've been going to this place for a long time went today sat for an hr after ordering our breakfast and other people had that showed up half an hr after us were getting served before us not sure if our server knew how to do her job I had to ask for my coffee to be refilled never checked on us walked out on this place horrible experience today

First time here in years, and the breakfast is still great. Huge portions, good service and fairly priced considering.

Arriving to eat breakfast we were seated quickly. Once we were sitting down it took over 10min to still not be greater to have our orders taken. Staff were all standing together and talking to eachother. Not being the only table waiting we are very disappointed in the service.

I was staying at the hotel so went here to eat as it was next door. I regretted going here as I walked in you were greeted with the smell of greasy food which did put me off eating. But I did order food. Service was a little slow. The chips were good but didn't enjoy my grilled sandwich at all. I wouldn't eat there again if I was staying there. Those around me seemed to enjoy it. Just not for me.

I went to Broadway on Innis for a special daddy/daughter breakfast. My daughter chose the breakfast pouring which she really liked. The problem came with my steak and eggs. The eggs (2 overeasy $10) were fine. The steak (ordered medium rare, I'm guessing top sirloin) had gone directly from the fridge to to the pan, was devoid of any seasoning and was served blue). I ate my eggs but after sawing through my first bite of the steak, I realized it wasn't even palatable as is. The server came and asked how the food was. I informed her it wasn't good and declined any offers at additional food. Shortly after the manager came by and asked what the issue was. I showed her the blue unseasonably or underseasoned steak to which she debated with me on the seasoning and responded with a " what, so you want a discount now" and when I said no with a follow up she cut me off and said okay and walked away. The only reason why I gave 2 stars was because my daughter enjoyed her food and our server, despite being busy was attentive and she was tipped appropriately. The food quality for my meal was best described as poor and incomplete and my experience with the managers attitude just sealed that I won't be offering this place my business as my special day with my daughter has now gotten of an unexpected rough start as I had to take my leftover steak to salvage it at home (ya, I had to cook the food I recieved from a restaurant, let that one sink in). Nothing wrong with the cut, was just grossly undercooked and grossly underseasoned. Just a complete lack of effort and caring by the cook and the manager.

This restaurant is a disorganized mess and the hostess is terrible at her job. Waited half an hour for a table for two, there was a bunch of empty tables but she wasn’t seating anyone. Ultimately some people ended up seating themselves which she did nothing about and they were able to get served then she comes to me who waited patiently and says kitchen is backed up so she can’t seat us for probably an hour. Total joke, would not go back.

Stopped by here for a meal with people outside. Great staff and food! I felt very safe here (ie no exposure to Covid). As well, it's very convenient, right next to 417 exit on Innes.

The atmosphere was nice the food I'll give it low fish and chips were very overcooked stash pizza place very clean Whole Foods we had we're very adequate but all in all I'll give you a two star

Real shame as I've been coming to this location for years. Overloaded and understaffed. Host told us (table of 2) there would be a 10 minute wait because they needed to "catch up". Total wait time was 28 minutes and the table was sticky from syrup.

Waitress forgot items and refilled my coffee once, which was fine because it was worse than gas station brew. I ordered the Great Canadian omelette and it was burnt.

With the prices going up and the atmosphere going down, it's hard to recommend at all anymore. Two stars for the breakfast potatoes which always manage to be on point.

Love eating here. The staff are awesome and fun to talk to. Food is awesome never had a problem.

Normally I don't believe in leaving negative reviews, but for this I have to make an exception. My partner and I ordered a chicken wrap and chicken club, respectfully for delivery, which was prompt. Upon eating, I made it through the first half of my wrap and my stomach began to hurt and I felt like I needed to vomit. My partner didn't finish her club because she didn't like the taste of the chicken either. 20 minutes later, we both became ill, with her beginning to experience allergic symptoms. She is allergic to pineapple and shellfish, which we didn't assume we needed to worry about since it was a chicken club sandwich and there shouldn't be cross contamination anyways. Upon feeling this way, I called the restaurant to let them know both of us were feeling ill after eating their chicken and asked if there was any possible cross contamination and what was in their kitchen as I may need to take her to the hospital and I will needed to know what to tell them. The hostess who answered the phone said to me, "Well you didn't put any allergies on your order, so we couldn't have know". Which again, when ordered a CHICKEN wrap and a CHICKEN CLUB, shouldn't be an issue for pineapple and shellfish. When I explained I also was feeling unwell and vomiting, and suggested perhaps the chicken was off, she said, "Well the kitchen is usually on top of it, and no one else has said anything and we've been serving the chicken all day". Note, we ordered at 11: 30, so it's not like this was a once-off in the evening. I find it very irresponsible and rude to essentially blame the customers for falling ill after the food you have served them. She said she would, "look into it" and attempted to end the call, but I suggested she report to the manager, and before I could give her my number to reach me back, she hung up. As I said, I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this is borderline dangerous how nonchalant they are to someone reporting potential food poisoning/allergic reaction because of their product. If I could give 0 stars I would, please be very, very careful if you order from this establishment.

Had a lovely breakfast outside on the patio this morning. Great service and very courteous and attentive staff.

One of the places my son, wife and I have eaten at whe visiting in Ottawa. Nice atmosphere on their patio areas, the staff is always friendly and professional and a great variety of food choices.

The rise in price and decline in quality has made me say goodbye to a beloved breakfast. And while at a limited capacity, don't take on more than the employees can handle, this only results in high wait times, cold food and unhappy customers. (Tip: scrambled eggs and omelettes shouldn't be brown.)

Both their delivery and dining in experience is great. We love their wings and breakfast.

Take out is always fresh and hot, they always include extra condiments and the quantity you get is what you get dining in.

I don't know a place that does breakfast better

I worked here bout 5 years ago and there's no reason I wouldn't want to eat at this location.they hustle for your food and make good stuff. Had to go back for that omelet! And I rarely go out for breakfast

If Bubly water had a steak fajita flavour that is what you would taste here. The quality and quantity of ingredients was acceptable.service was good but gosh darn it I am getting Broadway bar and grill a spice rack for Christmas. Maybe a black pepper seasoning on the beef and an actual salsa Rojas instead of bland pico (cilantro would help). Generous serving of ingredients but zero flavour. Maybe I have covid (I don't) because this dish must have creditors calling daily to ask where the owed flavour is.

Great food, friendly and prompt service, nice patio, and the servers wore masks all the time, even outside.

Very friendly place with awesome food. Andrew is an amazing waiter who knows how to take care of customers! Will be back!

This is a typical Roadhouse style restaurant, the food is good, I go more for a quick breakfast. The food is always good and the staff are friendly.

Molly is the bomb - funny, personable, made for a great visit. Super tall bartender is easy on the eyes too. 10/10 will be back.

But prices are way to high.
We are basically in a recession-
Either way you are limiting your business and profits big time.
Make it up on volume! You will sell much more at better prices.

I have only eaten breakfast here, but I have been doing so for years. I live in Kanata and still drive across the city on weekends for breakfast sometimes even though there are other Broadways between here and there. No other location does it quite like these guys. The garlic home fries are beyond compare and I am also a big fan of the mango/peach smoothie.
