Twice now I have been in to ask for them to do a very unique alteration. I sometimes find shirts for myself that don’t fit so I buy a blank shirt that fits and they cut the image from the shirt and sew it on to the blank shirt. The final product is always so professional

I had dress pants hemmed and taken in, as well as the arms on a dress shirt shortened. The service was fast and the quality was good.

What a great experience! Really made my day. I had ripped my jacket on the lining of the zipper in the middle of a snow storm. The pretty lady at the front asked for Jack to come up front called for Jack to come upstairs and Jack was nice enough to stop his busy day and help a guy out. Just amazing customer service and will be recommending Broadway Cleaners to all my friends and family.

I got a terrible alteration service for an expensive suit pants. They made the damage worse and much bigger. They refused any compensation for that damage because there is no proof remained as pictures. I also got a Canada goose dry cleaning from them and the fur around the hood rim was scorched. It is clear for me that I got the service from them but their temporary employee girl might put the order as regular down jacket dry cleaning and then they denied it was done by them because there is no record as Canada goose. It is a miserable feeling to see a person to run their business in their neighbourhood like that way.

After a brief misunderstanding this business stepped in and made it right. Great to see small businesses that care so much about their customers!

Highly recommend! I had a dress for an event that needed some last minute alterations and they managed to fit me in, did a perfect job on the alterations, and had it done in less than a day. The price was also very reasonable. I’ve brought in dry cleaning too and they always do a fantastic job and you can’t beat the customer service.

I dropped off 10 garments, cotton shirts, silk/wool Hugo Boss suit. I asked for some tailoring to repair damage (I put on a bit of weight). My clothes came back looking like new. To be honest I was expecting the bill to be twice what I paid. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Jack for over 20 years. Not only is he an excellent tailor, but completes his work quickly while being very cost competitive. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dry cleaning or alterations.

I have dealt with Jack at Broadway Cleaners for over 15 years and I would trust them with any item of clothing I own no matter how expensive it is. Jack is truly a magician who has reconstructed jackets and dress shirts upon weigh loss, tailored pants perfectly as well as every item of clothing my wife has needed alterations with to her very specific requests. Best of all, Jack has always been honest if he felt the alteration I was asking for would not turn out right and offered his opinions so my expectations were set. Jack always comes through if I have a rush job and his pride in his work shows every time. In addition to all this, every item I have sent for cleaning has always come back perfectly. It is a pleasure to support an independent business like Jack and his family. I could move an hour away and I would still make the drive to deal with Broadway Cleaners just knowing my clothes were in the best hands!

I have used the services of Broadway Cleaners happily since the business opened over 30 years ago. Broadway does everything right from regular dry cleaning services to repairs and alterations. The proprietor, Jack Ilios, is an excellent tailor and has made all of my suits for years. He even made me a wonderful winter coat which I use every year around this time. Also, Jack is very supportive of the local community and when non-COVID times permit has an annual fundraising BBQ which benefits the local community. I highly recommend Broadway Cleaners.

Jack and the Broadway team are hands down the best dry cleaners Ive ever dealt with. 10/10 Simple as that. Honest, efficient, Trustworthy, hard working, and down to earth, sprinkled with a little Mediterranean charm! Jack has become the only dry cleaner I will let touch any of my clothes. We’ve been going here for dry cleaning and alterations for well over 30 years. Its proprietor, Jack, is beloved by all of his customers. I have had nothing but great experiences all around. If he can’t fix something or get something clean, he tells you right away, and he’ll tell you he’ll do his best But for us, that has never happened. We have brought him our friends, relatives and neighbours who have since become regular customers of his. He doesn’t disappoint. Broadway Cleaners truly does fabulous work but it is Jack whom the community has fallen in love with all these years. He has been nothing but professional, honest, loyal, charitable and trustworthy. An exemplary human being running a wonderful business for so many years.

Jack! What can I say about this wonderful, wonderful man!
I’ve been a customer of Jack’s/Broadway Cleaners for 23 years. When I first moved into the Yonge and Eglinton area, I was working at a law firm, so I was always getting my dress pants dry-cleaned (because I had to dress professionally). I’m also only 5’2 so every time I bought a pair of pants, they had to be shortened because pants are always made for tall people!
He always had my clothes ready on time and they were always perfect. If I had a stain that Jack said he may not be able to remove, he told me in advance so I knew ahead -but most times he worked his magic and if the stain didn’t come out, I knew and I was ok with it.
He is a kind, generous family man and treats his customers as such.
Every summer, we would walk over to Broadway Cleaners to partake in the Annual Charity BBQ he had organized, to raise money for worthy causes, and at Christmas we always received a delicious bottle of red wine for being loyal customers. Thoughtful beyond belief
When my mother died back in 2017 he sent a beautiful donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory. He did the same when I lost my father a few years earlier, and same for my boyfriend’s parents.
I would absolutely 1000% recommend Broadway Cleaners to be your ‘clothing doctor’ as there is no one better.

I've used Broadway Cleaners for 36 years for dry cleaning & alterations for the entire family. Jack and his staff have always been helpful and cheerful with the quality of the work outstanding. Always on time with their promises and for those rush dry cleaning jobs or alterations, Jack has stayed late to ensure that we could pick-up to meet the "emergency deadline"! I would never consider using another dry cleaners - outstanding professional service & attention to detail!

I have used Broadway Cleaners for 21 years, and they have always done a beautiful job on both cleaning and alterations. Last week, due to a death in the family, I needed to have clothes dry cleaned within a day. Not only did Jack stay open late to give me time to drop them off, he did his usual wonderful job, and then folded them in plastic to fit them into the suitcase. Jack has always given back to the neighbourhood in so many ways. He and his wonderful staff are warm, incredibly kind, and they go out of their way to help their customers. I am extremely grateful to them, and will remain a happy and loyal customer.

No clear communication—-
The clean was Ok but I will not go back because
- they promised to call with the price before starting work and did not
- they promised to call with a completion date and did not
- said they called me, but did not. Maybe he was confused? Not saying he lied but I for sure did not get a call.

I brought in a specialty item (white canvas sneakers) to be cleaned.
I told them that the sneakers weren’t that expensive and that I had a limit of what I would pay to have them cleaned.
The proprietor said no problem and that he would call me next day to have them evaluated and would let me know the price before they began to work on the item.
A week later I walk in and ask if they had any news for me. He said yes they had been started and the cost would be approximately $30 which was fine and within my budget.
Two weeks without any calls or a date for when it would be completed I walk in to check up on my shoes. They had been ready for 10 days sitting there according to the tag. The guy says he called me to let me know that the shoes were ready, which I have absolutely no record of.
My sneakers are still yellow ish.

Nice family run business. Took in a three piece suit, plus a shirt and tie to be cleaned, and was very satisfied with the cleaning. Although they said it would be ready by 5pm on the pickup day, I arrived at 6: 30pm and they were unable to locate the shirt, which was a little unsettling. I came back the following day and they had it all ready to go, and did not have to wait around.

Overall I found the service very thorough in the cleaning, but a little worrying for the timing. If you are in need of a quick clean this may not be the place for you.

I’ve been a customer for about ten years, but have watched quality plummet since the old owner (Jack) semi-retired. They effectively ruined six custom made dress shirts and refused to address the problem. Buyers beware! If you’re looking for quality, go somewhere else.
