Brock Sandwich

Everything on the menu sounded amazing, so we had a really difficult time narrowing down our selection. We finally landed on the chicken piri Piri and the Cubano. Both were delicious, made fresh and with high quality ingredients.

We also shared a side of fries - they weren't bad but my personal preference is for a crispier exterior. You could tell they were made from scratch and had a solid potato flavour though.

The space was nice & bright. Good spot for a quick lunch.

We ordered the brisket sandwich to go. All the ingredients were fresh, and it was a well-packed sandwich.

Food ideas are like a blinking beacon in the night. What a find, this neighborhood gemstone I highly recommend.

I’m dont gravitate towards sandwiches, but Brock sandwich has easily become one of my favourite places in the city so that’s saying something!
Every single one I order SLAPS and I’m just waiting to go back to try the next one.
The ingredients are very good quality and super fresh - that po’boy! So gooood.
The owner is incredibly kind as well- I always feel welcome when I come in.

Quality is questionable, depending on the time you visit the shop. Picked up the chicken peri peri sandwich on an evening, and the quality was not upto the mark. Taste was completely different compared to previous time I had visited.
Not going again.

Got the brisket sandwich. Yum! The smoke on the meat is some of the best I've ever had. All the toppings are made fresh - full of flavour.

The bread was a soft bun, but too soft and not substantial enough for the filling. A crusty bread would have held up better. My bread got soggy. I ate it all up but would ask for the other bread I see in some photos next time.

Will be back! Owner was friendly too:)

This place sells quality sandwiches, and the meats are legit. The service is pretty good as well.

Wow! Just amazing! Coleslaw is to die for, even the mayo tastes sooo good! Prosciutto sandwich fresh and just delicious.

Calling this place and menu amazing is an understatement. I wish the place is open on all weekdays:)

Best chicken sandwich in town

The meatball sub is supreme! The ingredients are fresh, the flavours complex and developed. You can tell the owners really care about the quality of the sandwiches they serve. I’m a loyal patron.

Nice, clean place and the ingredients are good quality, but I’ve now had the chicken piri piri, po boy, brisket, and the veggie leak sandwich, and the taste is just not there. The sandwiches are expensive, bland, and messy, and the “coleslaw” is just raw red cabbage. You’re better off ordering from any fast food place since it’ll be cheaper and tastier. Sorry guys. I hope you will see this and maybe take some things into consideration. I live in the area and would love to support the business on a regular basis.

Delicious sandwiches! A little pricey, but these guys put real effort into their food. Maybe not an everyday meal stop, but definitely a great treat!

The best food and service ive ever had in my entire life. My friend collapsed and the staff performed cpr and saved his life. The food is insanely delicious!

Full disclosure: we’ve been fans of Brock Sandwich - a Bloordale Village mainstay - for years. After our most recent visit we realized that we’d never given them the positive review that they so richly deserve. So we’re clearing up that oversight right now!

We love everything about these guys. They have created a fun, relaxed vibe in their small space, their prices are reasonable (two superb sammies, fries and a Coke for $35 tax and generous tip included), and their sammies and fries (seriously, get the fries!) are fantastic. Everything is made-to-order with fresh, high quality ingredients and genuine attention to flavour combos and fixings.

Simply put, these aren’t your everyday, run-of-the-mill sammies. If you haven’t been drop on by; you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the Gluten-Free Cuban To Go using Ritual for lunch. An absolutely divine sandwich, the meat was so good and the GF bun was fantastic. I stopped several times during eating it to remark to my girlfriend how delicious it was. I may even go back for dinner.

Amazing sandwiches and fries. This place uses fresh, quality ingredients and have a nice variety of sandwiches and salads to choose from. Yum!

I had the Cubano sandwich today and it was so delicious! The bread was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The smoked pork and ham was delicious (not dry) and it had emmentaler cheese, fermented pickles and dijon mustard.

Have been twice - first time yesterday, had the Cubano. Second time today, had the Beef Brisket. Both were outrageously good. Can’t wait to work my way through their list haha

The food here is really great. The service was awesome aswell. Very fast service and great atmosphere. I will definately be back!

Always tasty and quick. They have gluten free options for me and the bun actually holds together (not usually the case). Staff is always happy to let me know what will be safe for me when I order, but I hear the whole menu is amazing.

Mediocre, over-priced sandwiches.we tried the duck confit and the jackfruit sandwich, which was one of, if not the only, vegan/vegetarian option on the menu.each sandwich was about $16 and quite small.not worth the $$ and won't be returning.

Food is out of this world. Great service and priced well. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This place has been on my list since they opened. When a certain restaurant on Geary wasn’t showcasing their infamous pasta dishes on my birthday, I decided to come here instead and boy am I glad I did.

My partner and I were immediately greeted by Len, a genuine, friendly human who was patient with us while we looked over all the delicious options they had!
My partner is vegan so it was great that they had a couple of vegan options.

She ordered the Fennel Sandwich and I the Po’Boy. We ordered fries to share and a side of broccolini.

I wasn’t a fan of the fennel, because I don’t like the strong liquorice flavour profile, but it was tamed down beautifully. My partner suggested that the pieces be cut down smaller, but when I went back again with my cousin and started talking to Len, he was explaining that if it’s cut too small or too big it can affect the sandwich. I forgot what he specially said but it made sense. The broccolini was a bit too spicy for my tongue but my partner liked it and even more so when she put it in the rest of her sandwich that she had saved for later on! She liked that the fennel sandwich left her feeling full.

But let’s get to this Po’Boy! This sandwich was packed with flavour, so much flavour, and they don’t skimp on the seafood! The best Po’Boy in town if you ask me because a week and a half later I was back at Brock Sandwiches, thinking of trying something new, but I was drawn to the Po’Boy again. I could go on and on about this sandwich but you really have to try it yourself!

And while you’re at, opt for the fries and drink too! More so for the fries because they were just as flavourful and crispy and the perfect portion!

I want to shout out Greg also and his awesomeness. I had gone with my cousin, who experiences mental wellness challenges and he had picked a bottled drink and not a canned soda. He had then approached Greg to open it, and although Greg had noticed this, he let it go and opened it for him anyways without saying anything. I appreciated this a lot because as an advocate for mental wellness, most people would’ve made this into a big deal. Greg may not have known that he had mental wellness but this simple act of letting it go.that in itself goes too show the character behind Greg.

The Brock team, Juice and Len are a great team who put together some amazing and delicious sandwiches served with genuine kindness that you can’t seem to find in your fellow human these days. This is now my go to spot from now on and hope these guys don’t go anywhere!

The meatball sandwich with charred onions was literally one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Between the bun tasting like it had come out of oven 5 minutes prior, the pork meatballs and the unbelievable marinara sauce, I basically left the planet for the 15 minutes it took to eat.

Will be back for more.

We're from way out of town and stopped here while in TO.we both had the Porchetta sandwich (the special today!). Best darn sandwich we've ever had.incredible flavour.pork was so moist, with peppers and arugula.didn't want it to end! AND really friendly service! Would make the drive back!

Stumbled in today, totally out of our neighbourhood and blissed out on the amazing Piri Piri chicken and Porchetta sandwiches. Service was friendly and helpful and the sandwiches were out of this world! Would definitely come here again, keep making awesome sambos!

Fast, friendly, very good food. All my friends who work nearby rate this as their favourite lunch spot. They keep a couple vegan options on the menu and they have birch beer so how can you go wrong.

Brock has been our go to sandwich place for the past 3-4 years. Quality is always top tier and very delicious.

Brock had a amazing menu and is perfect for anyone looking for high quality comfort food in the west end. While the menu tends to be focused on meat (fried chocked, schnitzel, pulled brisquette, etc.) vegetarian options are also avaliable. Being located only a few steps from the subway is also a plus.

It’s a cosy place with great service. I ordered a soup which was very ordinary and the sandwiches we ordered were fresh but we felt they were off the mark in terms of punch and flavour.

Had the Peri Peri chicken sandwich today, and oh my it was good.

I have had a lot of chicken sandwiches before and nothing comes close. Crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside, full of flavor and the caramelized onions really complement it well.

And the fact it was cut in half to minimize the goodness loss was a treat.

It's safe to say "I'll be back".

Quite a sandwich! Not your ordinary sammy shop where they just shove everything between the bun slices, these guys take the chicken sandwiches seriously, it’s crunch and chewy at the same time and every bite is very satisfying.

Absolutely amazing. I tried the cold prosciutto sandwich first. It was simple, yet flavorful. Sure enough, I came back to give the special a shot. The special of the day was Pastrami, and this sandwich blew the prosciutto away. The outside looked very basic, yet the Inside was loaded with horseradish and beets, which created a nice, juicy sandwich to contrast with the crispy rye bread. Thank you Len for the hospitality, and thank you Uncle Ty for the sandwiches and the ridiculously hot-hot sauce. I can’t wait to come back for whatever the next special may be.
