Brockville General Hospital

Absolutely disgusting, dirty emergency area. The bathrooms are not AODA compliant. We were told to simply hold it after waiting 4 hours. With all the tax dollars we pay, this is how we're treated!

It was a little longer of a wait than I expected but things are what they are. Staff were very professional and helpful. The attending physician was very good.

If I could give a 0 star I probably would after waiting 4 hours to be seen and still no doctor/nurse (had severe chest pain) but I guess that has been thrown to the bottom of their list. I understand you have to prioritize patients but I was assuming that would be your top priority I guess not. I think we need at least two doctors on at night and that way one can do priority where as one can do more serious patients but hey what do I know. I felt bad for the old man who waited almost 10 hours and came by Ambulance.

Waiting here since 4: 00 AM nobody has budged out of the waiting room. I get that people are more ill than I am but seriously this is exactly what is wrong with our system. Hurry up and wait that’s all that ever happens. The staff did not break the system but at some point they are the problem or they are the solution but no solutions here, just waiting and waiting and waiting. This is terrible not acceptable.

E. R.is a joke. The staff seem to be poorly organized and lacking experience. A local clinic's doctor sent me here because she believed my situation was an emergency. I explained to triage what the doctor had told me. I waited for hours and nothing. I left. Drove to Kemptville. I was seen in 30 mins and the staff there were awesome.

Staff did an amazing job with patience.
Wait times were horrible.
Was there for over 6 hours.
The floor was disgusting with sticky residue covered in dirt from foot traffic in the emergency room.
The washroom had dozens of sick individuals using it and was a disaster.
Over 6 hours and no one even came to check to see if cleaning needed to be done in the emergency room area.
The rooms were very clean and sterile.

Excellent staff making the most of an understaffed situation. Also, spotlessly clean and facilities recently updated.

Personally I cant see how anyone could give this hospital any less than 5 stars. I had a knee replacement surgery, these people were angels from reception to Aaron taking me patiently to my ride home. Awesome, thanks!

Horrible hospital have been waiting 5 hours husband has been extremely sick with vomiting ect stuck him in the waiting room with a puke bag has had no fluids in one to 24 hrs the nurse sed they are seeing the quicker cases first as my husband deteriorated just horrendous

Excellent service when bought in by ambulance and on iv for 8 hours.the first part of diagnostics and treatment worth 5 stars. But took off iv and gave me pills and sent home with prescription for pills. Threw up 5 mins after leaving. Continued throwing up for 5 days. Was still so sick that it took 5 days to realise i was allergic to pill they gave me in hospital and a prescription for.

Worst hospital I've ever been to. Waited in triage for over 2 hours when there is only 1 other patient here.

They saved my life last year when my appendix was near to bursting, saw me right away and correctly identified the problem and operated without delay. Then yesterday I slipped on ice and broke 2 ribs. The ambulance was here (Mallorytown) in 14 minuets and they stabilized me and gave me drugs for pain and oxygen as well. Exray was fast and accurately showed the trouble.
Big shout out to all the excellent staff and especially the hot nurses!
Everything super clean and new looking.

Terrible, made me wait 8 hours to just be looked at, if the Staff would actually do their jobs and stop making people suffer more when they are here to relieve that suffering. Jesus this hospital needs massive work and employees are all lazy

Worst hospital ever. Racist in name of policies.
Worst department (occupational health) who actually works for helping people to have a better life.
All departments are politically involved to shut one down. Shame on everyone who works in this hospital and ignores to help with their stupid policies and then be ohh I'm so sorry this happened to you
Please don't even work here.cuz if you quit, even as normal public you can't go to ER or get your vaccinations.

Do not go to this hospital! No one helps you there, no one answers phones, no one returns calls, no one does what they say they will do. Phone system is only there to provide nurses and doctors with extended breaks and lunches. Like all day. Their professionalism is zero and they do not care for the painents. Even their complaint department does not answer calls or return calls. THIS HOSPITAL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND/OR EMPLOYEES FIRED FOR DERELICTION OF DUTY.
AGAIN DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!
