With broker link for a 4 years plus and when I have to renew I'm done with them. Horrible service and the person who takes care of my insurance told me $194 was the cheapest and I accepted.then looking elsewhere I found insurance for $143 a month and cheaper. So now I'm locked in for a year paying way more. Makes me sick that I got taken advantage of.

Bad experience with Brokerlink group. Last year we had an insurance with them our experience was satisfactory. 2 weeks before we changed our car. Called brokerlink and cancelled our old car’s insurance and got a quote for our recently purchased car. But after that we need to modify the details, for that we called many of their agents and none of them were able to help us. Now they are not taking our calls. We wrote so many emails and they are not even responding. We are going to cancel our insurance which we got through them. We no longer interested in contacting them again.

Absolutely atrocious service, not a single time was I provided the right amount for policies or cancelations. Numbers jumped from agent to agent and it was always made to look as the mistake was on my part. 3 specific examples that I can give are: 1. Asked if my insurance will decrease after having a G license for a year, the agent said "yes, expect a 10% discount around August", comes August and no discount and after contacting broker link I was told that "sorry since you had a driver's course, you already have this discount applied from day one". Why the first agent I spoke with never checked that prior to saying anything about the discount is beyond me. 2. Gave a call to broker link to check the price for a tenant and car bundle insurance, the agent explained that "home will be around 280 and the car will be 360" promising to send me the quote which I have never recieved. Once I decided to come back to that quote and calling broker link, I was told that the quote is wrong as the agent never applied the new address to the car policy while checking it for me and the actual quote will be 390 for car and 303 for the tenant insurance.

They get the prize for the WORST insurance company in Canada. I would avoid them like the plague. I would never recommend anyone to them. They are notorious for ignoring emails. I tried to cancel my insurance and they deliberately ignored my email and kept on taking money from my account when I called to rectify the situation I was told a blatant lie that my agent was no longer working at the company only to find out that she is indeed still employed there. Their ONLY focus is to take money out of people's pockets, not clients satisfaction. A zero is still too high of a rating for them

I don't know if the brokers are overworked but they take forever to respond, if they even do. I have spoken to at least 3 brokers who had the same pattern of waiting weeks to respond or sometimes not even responding. I left Brokerlink and went else where. I even sent in my complaint to the email they direct people to and no response. If I could rate lower, I would.

Horrible customer service. They messed up my insurance policies. Boroker Luisa on call was rude and didn't not explain details properly. I was supposed to receive a call from their manager which I never received. Going back/forth with 30+ emails with no end result. Very unprofessional and bad business practices

Atrociously bad service and communication. The single worst business mistake I have ever made was utilizing their services.

I went with broker link and it wasn’t honestly great service. I would go with bel air instead. My fiancé got refunded his insurance when he canceled with bel air because we moved. Instead I got charged because I canceled. Also someone I know got their insurance canceled because of a ticket? I’ve never heard of that. Told several mutuals about it and they don’t think that’s right either.

I was provided a $230 monthly quote by Helena Nethery in Ontario - and the insurance company took out $711. Helena gave me the run around and told me that she only gave me part of the details and that it was her mistake but I was stuck with this cost. I expect a refund as Helena deliberately misrepresented the quote to get the business and commission - which is illegal. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. The absolute worst customer experience i have ever had, emmailed 3 different agents to get confirmation of insurance and noone replies to my emails, failed to fo basic things i asked with no way of contacting the agent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROKER

I asked for a quotes for this company and picked one. I thought everything was settled. Weeks later I have not received the contract agreement so I made a follow up. The agent was on vacation. He came back and asked me to fill a form which I found it odd since we already discussed over the phone that my condo were already insured. He said that the insurance denied it because they wanted me to check my rental property every 3 months. I just received a letter today asking me to pay 69.12 for my insurance cancellation. Why would I pay for it if there is no insurance to cancel to begin with since I have not received any written agreement. They were the one who cancelled it. I was the one thought that my condo had insurance. They should have paid me instead for spending time with them.

Just spoke with Teresa today for information re: an occasional driver and her response was knowledgeable, immediate and warm. I felt both reassured and very comfortable dealing with her.

Last week I had a phone call with Mel Wahrhaftig. They're amazing they did their best and gave me an amazing quote. Even though I was kinda of rude.

Insurance coverage prices are ridiculously overpriced despite clean driving record, retired, etc.

They quote one thing, give you a verbal AGREEMENT, then go back on their words and charge you a surplus, then act innocents and threaten to send your name to collections services. Please be weary of this company they are frauds. Please do your research there are better brokerage companies out there.if anything just go directly to the insurance company. SMH. Had a phone conversation about our car insurance with BrokerLink. The agent who spoke with us was rude, impatient and very unprofessional. We have been your customers for sometime and you treat us this way when we contact you. I do not recommend BrokerLink for insurance.

Do not waste your time and money with this company. They are quick to process your request but once the payment is made, they will completely ghost you as a client. They will dodge your calls by any means necessary. It’s been one year since my policy and they still haven’t mailed out my package/paperwork; I’ve repeatedly called to no avail or resolve. This is a fraud.

I started inquiries in Oct 2020 for motorcycle insurance, then winter, then Covid, then Spring 2021. Six months of nothing less than professional, courteous and patient customer service. Hi, as my first experience, I was referred by my Dad about your company and I received an email back in June 2020 with a promo code Get$10 as an e-gift card for calling you guys and enquiring about the cost of a new car insurance quote. Unfortunately the price quoted was a little higher than my present policy cost. So as expected, I should have received a 10 dollar e-gift card which I never did so that left me with a first bad impression of the quality of service on such a simple thing. Please do not promise what you're not able to keep. The last person I spoke to was Japneet on October 28 and until now no response Kudos to you guys!

I spoke with a customer service representative called José; sorry if i misspelled the name but he is the best. He really made my day, beared with me for more than an hour on the phone to solve my problem. He tried every possible way to make things work for me. Hats off for this nice guy I really wish him the best.

Providing misleading information just to get customers and after they tell you that your policy can be cancelled only after the renewal date. Any cancellation before the renewal date will require a penalty of a months' insurance payment.
My goal was to have a combo of house and auto insurance. I made it clear to the reps from the very beginning. Then she told me it is possible lets first setup the auto insurance and we will see how to get a combo later.
When I called back to update the policy to include the house insurance, another rep told me it was not possible and If I decide to cancel my auto insurance before the renewal date, I will be paying a penalty of one month of insurance fee.
This is a scam. You can not scam people at this time when people are barely surviving. This is the highest level of cheating.

I dealt with a gentleman named, Alex, who was absolutely amazing. He was super responsive and very quick to get auto insurance for myself. He went above and beyond to get me the best possible price and I am so satisfied with his professionalism. Really great guy to deal with!
