We are thrilled with our new windows! From start to finish, the Brookstone team was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Shout out to Ben & Luke, the installers, who did a really great job and completed the job with care and efficiency!

I booked an appointment because the young guy showed up at my door scheduling appointment was very sincere and it was a cold day, so I scheduled the appointment as I was comparing prices anyway.
Ryan Simpson the sale guy showed up on time, but the vibe was weird. He gave us the quote, which was way out of our budget also higher than the quote we got from the other company. He somehow pulled a owner's discount and expected us to bind the sale on the spot. We didn't, and asked if he could email us the original quote. He left with silent anger and never emailed the quote to us.
The price he gave us with "owner's discount" was actually not bad, and we were considering it, but I wouldn't decide on the spot for a $30k job.

Shout out to the young man scheduled the appointment. Keep up your good work!

Booked an appointment for a new entry door. No one showed up at the agreed upon time. After waiting 30 minutes qwe called only to get the standard excuses that the iPad refreshed and the lost all my contact info and they have booked in someone else at this time. Just lost my business.

Everything from our salesman Carl to the installers were great George answered all our questions concerning installation ect no upsales from Carl fast efficient and even the office ladies were excellent to work with definitely would recommend this company FANTASTIC SERVICE

Came to our house today to sell products. My wife handles these types of things on her own 90% of the time because she knows I don't care too much and trust her judgement. She was told by the seller they would only do business with her if I was there as well. While my wife thinks this is funny, I find it insulting that in 2023 a company would not deal directly with a women who is more than capable of making decisions all by herself. This took place in Burlington on April 24th. We are actually in the market for both windows and doors but we will be sharing this backwards experience with all that will listen.

The staff were very friendly from the start. They work with us on the prices. The installers were excellent, cleaned up after themselves and very friendly. Would highly recommend them.

The experience was great and the people where very knowledgeable and worked with me to meet my schedule.

Had a great experience with these guys. Got most of our windows and doors done and they came out great, installation guys left no mess and were pretty quick considering the size of the job.

Mitch the salesman and Branco the crew leader were fantastic. Especially the craftsmanship involved in working on a 100 year old house is commendable.

Scott and Josh did a great job and where detailed in how the windows went in and also how the California shutters also went back in place.
Overall the work done was very professional and satisfactory and would recommend them.

Brookstone Windows & Doors replaced both front and back doors. This was definately a MASSIVE upgrade from the original builders doors. The installation was quick, clean and both look fantastic. We love the look of the back door in particular since we got the back door with embedded blinds. It's the best upgrade to the house since we moved in by far!

Had a front door replaced and a back window/brick removed to install a patio door. Scheduling was communicated well and the installer was A+.

I am extremely disappointed with my Brookstone Window and Doors experience. From no contact after signing the contract for several months - no update, no nothing - to the sudden arrival of the last needed window the day we called to complain that we had no follow-up - to no instructions around prepping for the installation - to shabby installation, poor clean-up and overall rush job that looks like a 'homeowner' did it and not professionals - to absolutely NO follow-up post install from Brookstone. Just crickets! I absolutely would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

I had my front and mud room door as well as a bedroom window installed. I'm really impressed with the quality of the products and the installation work done by the team.

Very professional and takes the time to ensure customer satisfaction. We were surprised to know that they take the time to do a post install inspection; something we have never had with other work we have done in our home. To top it off, we received a nice little gift at the inspection, another very welcome surprise.
We are very satisfied with the service from start to finish and the quality of the front door they installed. I wish that we had used them for all of the windows we had replaced in our home.

Had a large front window installed. Window quality is very good and the installers were excellent.

My install date was approx mid Jan. 2022. I had a painter booked to paint the room and trim after the install. A few days before the end of Jan. I let the painter know I’ve not heard about the install so I’ll cancel his services until I know more. End of Jan passed so I waited a week or so until I called to find out the status. Was told the project manager would call me. Finally hear back a week later and was told there were delays in getting my window made. Ok I understand delays but where was my call to let me know? The PM told me my window would then be ready for mid March. Booked my painter for the last day in March. Again, March comes and ends, no update from my PM, cancelled my painter again.

Called Brookstone yet again asking for an update and finally get a voicemail back that was illegible due to low volume. I called back and was informed of my install date. I asked to have someone call me back other than my useless PM to complain about the lack of updates and never heard back. The installers came as expected and were great. The customer service from Brookstone and the Project Managers lack of updates were unacceptable.

Recently had side garage door installed by Brookstone. The price was good and the service was very friendly and professional.

We were very satisfied with the windows and doors that Brookstone installed for us. From the salesman to the installers. The workers were very friendly and professional. They cleaned up after each day. When the job was completed they walked us around and audited each window. We did find one window with a manufacturing defect. It took a few weeks to get this replaced and the company stayed in contact until it was completed. We did have delays due to Covid for the original installation date…but we were ok with that. We have recommended this company to our friends.

Contacted Brookestone for a quote on replacement windows. An unpleasant experience from beginning to end.
They cancelled our first appointment.
The rep was late for our second appointment, claiming he didn’t know how long it would take to get to our home despite also claiming to do a lot of business in our area.
When he arrived, he was not wearing a mask and was clearly put out when I asked him to do so.
When we started to talk about windows, he insisted on telling us what we wanted instead of listening.
When he gave us the first quote, it was quite high. But each time we hesitated, he threw in a different promotion. But also increased the pressure.
The final push was a discount for signing on the spot. When we said we wanted to think about it, he got up and walked out without a word.
When the rep left, I called Brookestone and informed them that their rep was rude and disrespectful, and I asked to speak to a manager. No one ever called to follow up.

The installation guys came when they said, were very efficient, and cleaned up very well. The craftsmanship was great, and professionally done. Would recommend to my friends and family.

Brookstone is a very good windows professionals who make your live at home better. Top quality materials used in their installations and workers were very polite and warm. They maintained my rooms clean after each installation and were very friendly. My door was also installed and I am very happy about it. I would give they six star is there is a six star.

Overall, I had a really good experience. The sales person was really nice and informative, they kept me updated with the progress of the windows, and the windows we had installed work well. I was a little disappointed that our front window wasn't completely finished. The installer told me I would have to buy a few pieces of trim and do it myself because he didn't have any. I wasn't sure if it was their responsibility or not. So our front window is still partially unfinished. I do like that they have a lifetime guarantee.

Update: Within hours of me posting my review, the owner had contacted me and by the end of the week I had the trim completed around my window. They were very apologetic and ensured I was fully satisfied with my windows. Customer service is really good. I would use them again for future window replacements.

They came to my door today. Said they were in the neighbourhood and would be willing to provide a quote for windows and doors. I said that I was interested in a new door. They told me they weren't interested! It wasn't worth their effort! They came to my door! Thanks for letting me know that you are not interested in my business.

I'm so happy with our new front door. The process Brookstone has in place is seamless. From the sales person to the check measure to the admin/booking dept to the installation. Everything was top notch. Highly recommend.

EDIT: the owner of the business, Ken, reached out to me to the same night I posted the review to personally apologize to myself and my family and acknowledged that it was an unacceptable experience. We appreciate his quick response to honour our feedback and willingness to make things right. We understand this experience does not represent the values of the business.

We booked with Brookstone because the consultation was free and wanted to see the options available since we are thinking about replacing some windows and doors. The appointment where a product specialist comes to your home to provide the quote was rescheduled 3 times. When we finally got a solid appointment, the individual that arrived to the appointment showed up 20 minutes late. My parents own the home and only speak conversational English, as such I was there to help them communicate their needs to the specialist. The “specialist” came in without a mask, and immediately started diagnosing issues with our existing windows and doors, before I could help my parents voice what we were looking for. My parents wanted to discuss the main doors and he wanted to discuss our windows, (which are lower priority for us). This part of the conversation wouldn’t have been as frustrating had he not led with “well don’t waste my time while I’m here. ” He refused to speak directly to my parents because of the language barrier. When we finally got to voicing what we envisioned for our doors, he insinuated that we would not be able to afford it. There was a lot of sighing and behaviours that indicated he was not interested in our business. He told us that with our ballpark budget, they were not the company for us because we wouldn’t be able to afford the quality. When we discussed payment options, he gave me a list of options and focused on paying over time (again insinuating that there is trouble with us being able to purchase products). When I finally got him to explain the benefits of paying everything upfront, he told me you get a discount. Then when I asked him if there was a benefit if we paid in cash instead of credit, he very proudly said “I’m sorry we’re not running a Chinese restaurant”. This was done in extremely poor taste, and frankly a racist comment. Especially in today’s day in age? There’s no excuse to say stuff like that. When my face grew unimpressed and asked him what he meant by that comment he quickly tried to back track and tried to explain but all in all it wasn’t an apology nor was he really trying to apologize for it. After my parents decided they weren’t going with the doors because of his attitude, we respectfully told him we didn’t want to spend anymore of our time with this service. He then got up abruptly and packed his items and rushed out the door, without saying anything not even greeting my parents goodbye and the worst part is he left our door ajar. This was overwhelmingly disappointing. If you’re just going to get angry because you didn’t close the sale, you need to evaluate what did you contribute to make this a poor interaction and not take it out on the customer. Frankly, if you’re sending out individuals like him to represent your company - you should reconsider whether your brand is really providing the quality you’re priding yourself on.
