Brookstone Windows & Doors

I have an heritage property. An extensive sales / selection process took place in June / July. I signed the contract although obtaining a copy was another story… it did require particular dimensions - so 3 measurement tech later, my doors were suppose to come by the end of September. I ordered the cast iron cloves and deco hinges as per the planned design. Early October, I’m just finding out that there was a manufacturing problem and among the « « string » of people involved - no one bothered to call to let me know that the doors would not come. They don’t ask for $ upfront and I’m not saying that they did not try, yet they promised the moon and back - then left me hanging without a word for months - wasting my time and the seasonal window needed to get this done before winter. Unreliable… unless your door is a simple cookie cutter project - I can’t recommend them at this point.

In response to the reply below, i would simply say that it was a pretty simple door design and if it could not be produced to the exact chosen specs - then it was time to speak up and aim for « solution mode - alternatives - team work - back to the drawing table » Something! A silent dismissal of a contract signed back in June - while I was home expecting the doors any day throughout September - is why I will not change this review.

I can’t say enough about our experience with brookstone for our new windows. From the initial consultation, Bill thoroughly explained the product, warranty and what set them apart as a company. We previously had received a quote from another company, and the extreme professionalism was what made our decision to choose brookestone. Installation was quick and efficient, the team was on time and extremely professional. We love our windows and our experience. I would recommend this company over and over!

Stop sending door-to-door salesmen to sell your defective windows.

If you're products were genuine quality you wouldn't need to resort to door to door sales.

Clear sign the company is not going well. Don't expect this company or their windows to last 5 years.
