Great place amazing service and rooms are impeccable love this hotel also great for couples retreat

Listening DJ playin’ cool music @ Jazz Lounge restaurant was the best part of my visit to Brookstreet Hotel. I’m willing to come back if this DJ will be playing again.

Delicious meal, lovely room, booked the shuttle to go to the Sens game, drinks after in thr lounge. Had a great night out. Rosanna took care of all my bookings and was a wonderful help. Will definitely go back!

It was good and I was there for a business gala, so didn't get to experience much, but the waiters were nice.

Solo staycation was perfect.
The staff were welcoming. Room was perfect, clean and large with a view of the golf course and pool area. They sent me a glass of champagne, box of truffles and a Thank you note when they heard I was a nurse. What a nice touch!
Food was soo tastey and decently priced. Fireworks on the second night were from a gala event they hosted. I will definitely returning!

I must say I am quite disappointed with the front desk service. I just made a third party reservation for 30th September and noticed that I could checkin only at 4pm. I immediately called the front desk to see if they could accommodate an early checkin request and he asked me to call on the day of booking to see if early check in could be accommodated.
Although I understand the policy and requested if there was any way out since third party bookings need to be cancelled 48hrs in advance and also since my 1 year old son is also traveling with me. Sadly the front desk guy didn’t budge and also said that I could cancel the booking.
Not the best service that I had expected. I am writing this review to see if my request would be accepted else i will proceed to cancel. Thanks

Amanda's meticulous attention to detail set the stage for a flawless experience, and Nick's exceptional kindness and unwavering commitment to exceeding my expectations made my stay truly remarkable.

Furthermore, the spa experience that followed was a symphony of tranquility and rejuvenation, adding an exquisite touch to my already delightful retreat.

Great spot for lunch. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Varied and reasonable lunch menu. Had salmon BLT which was delicious.

Nice hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. The lounge downstairs has live music every night and four roses is their house bourbon. There is a loca shuttle available and the drivers are very nice. There is a heated garage as well. The one possible downside would be the location - it is not in a very walkable space, but they have the shuttle so it’s not so bad. On the flip side it is close to a lot of offices which is a win.

My family of 5 /w kids under 6 stayed at the Brookstreet for 3 weeks from October 31-November 22nd 2021. Due to the rental market, denying us over 30 different houses in Kanata; within the 3 weeks & many weeks before that. The staff is amazing & so friendly & I would recommend this hotel for any special occasion or even a Friday night getaway from the kids ;) we finally found a rental & we thank the hotel for being so understanding & patient with us & our screaming kids for 3 weeks. I/we give the Brookstreet Hotel 5+ stars this won’t be the last of us. We will be back for a Friday night getaway in the near future!

Great room with nice view of the sunrise over Ottawa to the east. Bed was king and soft. Will stay again when in the Kanata area.

We ate at the options lounge the first night and ordered in room service the second night. After the room service I had food poisoning so badly that we could not drive home the next day and decided to stay another night. We, of course, were charged for another night in the junior suite. The hotel was nice. The room cleaners were courteous. But I am sincerely upset with the lack of class after what could have been handled appropriately. Do not stay here and do NOT eat here.

Had a fantastic stay. Pool is clean. Rooms are also clean and everything new. Staff also very friendly. And price was beyond reasonable.

Spent my Anniversary Weekend at this hotel. Everything and everyone was great, great location for a getaway.

Service was slow once we were seated. The food was double what you usually pay at other restaurants and you get about HALF what you would get elsewhere.

Incredible place to stay. Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. Everyone was warm and welcoming which enhanced our already pleasant stay.

This is an average hotel, hardly deserves 4 stars let alone 4 diamonds! Rooms are average, furniture falling apart, service average! Always wanted to stay here, now I have and will not return, there are other Kanata options better for your dollar!

Great service. Friendly staff. Lighting in the bathroom was low. Sink was clogged. Everything else was great. Clean room. Great location to rink & offer shuttle service (cheap = $5), Cafe is nice. Would definitely stay again.

It was amazing! We stayed there for one night, the staff is friendly, the restaurant serves delicious food and great cocktails and the prices are fair for the quality of the service/food. The bedroom was so nice, the bed felt like I laid down on a cloud, the underground parking is big, there is convenience store near if you need anything, they have a nice outdoor space where you can take a walk, sit down and enjoy the view.

Beautiful hotel and amazing gym. The floors all have microwaves which I loved and the rooms were clean. The only critique I really have is that the bathrooms have no fans, so when you take a hot shower, the moisture and humidity stays in the room. Not a deal breaker though. The coffee maker also did not include any milk, cream or whitener like you would typically see in most hotel rooms. Other than those minor details, it was a pleasant stay overall.

Hotel is a mix of old and new! Some of the wood furniture and trim are showing g ware for sure. King size bed definitely need to have fitted bottom sheets as the sheet came untucked with first rollover in the bed. Comfortable bed but sheet was an issue.

My room had not been properly clean (especially the bathroom), the bed was lumpy and the sheets itchy. Not sure what makes this hotel special. I have stayed in a lot of different hotels in Ottawa and let me tell you that there are better ones that charge less. Also, I did not have drinks or supper at the restaurant as it’s really pricey. Really not impressed.

I asked for a 1pm checkout instead of noon. They refused because they were full the next day. Apparently, the cleaning staff cannot clean my room between 1pm and 4pm (the next guests' checkin).

Nice hotel and reasonably priced. Room service Food was mediocre and arrived cold, but the room itself was very comfortable.

Not impressed at all. They had no staff during the long weekend and it took very long to check in only to find bugs in the room. They also only let you use the pool for 1 hour during your stay but it was packed and we didn’t not even get a chance to go into the water. Not clean, not organized, not recommend.

Great place to stay! If y need a fridge, make sure you ask for a room with an actual fridge! The outdoor pool and spa were very nice. Their event staff couldn't have been more helpful for our daughters wedding!

Just left the Brookstreet hotel from a weekend getaway to visit our daughter in Kanata. Don’t let all the nice amenities fool you, we won’t be back! Check in took forever, elevators were slow - waiting sometimes 10 minutes, beds are terrible and not very comfortable - mattresses obviously very old, ceiling paint was peeling in bathroom - no venting, lighting is terrible especially in bathroom, our room was not cleaned from previous night, there was puke in the front of the hotel Sunday morning - nice! Oh and nothing really opens until 9 am. Cannot order room service until 9 am and cannot book pool reservations until 9am. I guess too much focus is placed on golf course and conference rooms and not enough on hotel business and customers. Will stay elsewhere next time and not recommend to others. Disappointing because we have been wanting to stay here for a while! The second star is only being given because it was pet friendly.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was great. From the indoor/outdoor pools, the gym, the bar. I would definitely visit again.

Great hotel, especially if you don't need to be in downtown Ottawa. It is about 25 minute drive to Byward Market, Parliament Hill etc.

Hotel was clean, room was spotless, hand sanitizers everywhere. I last stayed here about17 years ago, room had MINOR signs of aging.

The only issue I had was they have an app, that turns your cell into room key, (no more demagnetizing, your room key with cell phone.lol. But that app wouldn't connect. Front desk said their IT team was looking into it, but never did get resolved.

Be aware it is $15, (tax included), for underground parking. There is NO other option, for parking.

Bed was luxurious. Would HIGHLY recommend as an option close to, but not IN Ottawa.

Lovely staff, great amenities, restaurant food is delicious. The sushi is definitely the highlight of their menu.

Room is nice and bed is quite comfortable. We didn't golf, but they have a lovely setup for people who play.

Nice hotel there for horse show. Pandemic protocol made getting access to restaurant a bit difficult but we got in a couple of times during our stay

It is time this hotel had a refresh it is looking stale and dated. Check-in was adequate be careful of the parking plenty of parking on site but they will ask you to park underground for additional cost. There seems to be a towel shortage. Room was comfortable, clean, and well sized.
The jazz bar, has cute atmosphere, if you get Dave the most boring bartender ever you will want to poke your eyes out. This guy couldn't be less helpful. Prices are ridiculous. Mimosas were good though.

Fabulous place to stay supper clean staff was always helpful and friendly next time I'm in Kanata I'll definitely stay there

I stay here when I need to relax, when I'm craving some luxury, and when I want to be guaranteed excellent food. I've traveled around the world a lot and have visited many hotels. I can safely say this is one of my favorites. Surprising that you'd find an amazing hotel in Ottawa, but there you go. It's possible! As such, I've come here multiple times even though I live in the city. Its a full experience every time.
Their pool is also salt water which is wonderful for my sensitive skin.
Also, I've been trying to find a proper regular masseuse that can fix my back issues in Ottawa/Gatineau, and to no avail. The spa that they have here has an excellent, exceptional staff. I actually and finally found a masseuse that is wonderful. If I could give this place a 10 star review, I would.

Great drinks, wine list is extensive and good, lamb shank was very good. Good atmosphere and a great place to have people together and you can here each other without yelling. The service was professional and was the right mix of being present but not bothering us as we enjoyed the evening

It's ok, the food isnt the best, as it is simple. However the ambience and the place looks spectacular. It's a good place to grab drinks, but the food is ok

This Brookstreet is clearly one of the best hotels in Ottawa. Rooms are clean and the view of the golf course, pond and the Gatineau hills are beautiful. I enjoy a month's stay at this hotel and I'm left with nothing to complain about. The staff is friendly, polite and accommodating. The food from Options is terrific and the B café has lots of selection for snacking on the run and possibly the best butter croissants in town.

Again the staff was amazing but a special shout out to Roger from the maintenance team who went above and beyond to help my long stay even more comfortable during these Covid times.

Thank you for all your help Roger. Any company would be more than lucky to have you as an employee. Your work ethic is unmatched and I truly appreciate all the effort you put into making my stay at the Brookstreet even better.

We attending a Christmas party at this tell and let me tell you everything was top notch. The customer service was excellent, the food.how can you complain about gourmet buffet food.literally, everything you could think of was on the table. The venue was so beautiful and accommodated everyone nicely. Highly recommend for an event!

We stayed overnight with friends as part of a NYE "staycation". The services were exemplary and the location spotless. Our rooms were lovely and clean. Anything we needed (ice, robes, champagne flutes) were brought immediately. We stayed for a wonderful brunch. Next year I'd love to see more vegan choices, though as I felt 45$ was a bit high for a bowl of soup, some roasted veggies and a salad which were the only choices that did not include dairy or eggs. Other than that I was so very pleased.

Nice clean room and facility. No public ice machine took over an hour to get ice to our room after 4 calls to the front desk. Fire alarm went off at 130 am and a large crowd waited in main lobby for close to an hour with no direction or communications from hotel staff while fire dept. Was present

I was here with a wedding. This is a very extravagant hotel. Right in the middle of a business park and on the outskirts of town. Busy by day, quiet and relaxing by night.

This is a beautiful hotel and conference facility. I stayed there for an Isagenix conference and was very pleased with every aspect of my stay: room cleanliness and attention to detail, courteous and helpful staff, decor and architecture of the building, great views. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, had a work related event there and the staff were more than accommodating. Would highly recommend this as an option to others looking to host a similar type went.

Was here early attending a technology showcase and IT presentations. All went great. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Parking was ample and free. Food and drink was abundant in the event. Options sports bar was reasonably priced.

Hotel is great, offers a heated ungrounded parking with very good reasonable prices. Huge conference rooms and many of them.lots of food and coffee place offerings. Swimming pool heated, but strangled you have to go from changing rooms through the gym.and then downstairs. Pool is small as the children's pool takes up half the space and its guarded. Also private swimming lessons take place every half hour new person and they take up half the adult pool for many hours.not much space for 3 people to do swimming laps. Spa is good. But if your late they still count you from your appointment booking so you loose time and still end up paying for the amount u booked. The masseuse is great.and you get 3 free hours of underground parking.

Staff was very friendly and professional. The room was mediocre, being a bit sterile in feeling, decor and general warmth was lacking. However, the amenities offered were great.

Went there for my anniversary and we had a great time! Staff was very courteous and precise with all info and orders. Food was AMAZING and the whole atmosphere was cozy and very fancy.
Was there also for drinks at the piano bar and again, a great experience. Great drinks and awesome snacks.
Don't ever miss a chance to go there!

The room was cramped even though we got the Deluxe King. 273$
Bed was high and TV was low. Furniture seemed just thrown together.
There were temptations of snacks/bar but they were all overpriced.

Fantastic hotel! Clean, modern rooms, friendly staff and awesome food (if a bit pricey). We went overnight for my birthday and walked away completely impressed with the place. It is definitely on our radar for another quick night out.

The room was very nice and clean with the exception of the TV remote, that was pretty disgusting. Was a little confused as we had to pay for parking, this hotel is not downtown, it's far west bordering on a golf course and farmfields. Room service was quick and friendly as were all the staff. They had a free shuttle to the Canadian Tire Centre (event nights only) which we used, the driver was great. The wifi was questionable, you could upgrade your speed for $10 (?) and the free service was not worth connecting to. Overall a positive experience for an adult night out but it seems this hotel is definitely not all inclusive so be prepared to pay more then the room rate for basic services.

Beautiful rooms, very clean and modern. Service was excellent, pool and hot tub were fantastic! Great kids area in the pool as well that is separated from the main pool.

I stayed here for business because it is close to the office. The hotel is very nice and the room was large and comfortable but there is nothing to do in walking distance. There is a pub nearby, which is fine, but there is nothing else. You really need a car, taxi, or uber if you want any food other than the hotel food.

Decent hotel, excellent staff. But room thermostat did not work. First there was no heat, room was stuck at 67f. Maintenance was quick to fix, but then it blew warm air nonstop. Room was 84f. They eventually moved me to different room which was fine.

Outstanding property. Great bar and fine dining. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. One of the best rooms I have stayed while on business travel.

Nice-looking hotel, but it has its flaws. Pool and hot tub were dirty, with a ring of dirt all around. Room lighting is quite dark so it can be frustrating when ironing clothes or grooming in the bathroom since you can't see all that well.
