Service is ok. Quality of clean was ok. Still had a (was should've been an easy) stain to remove from my jacket.

Not amazed but ok.

I was recently recommended this dry cleaner from a friend because of the pick up and drop off convenience. However, I trusted them with my $180 designer comforter that is not even made anymore- and therefore irreplaceable. It was returned in horrendous shape. Not even an apology from the employee who delivered it (Richard). I'm very upset and will never be using this service again. You should be ashamed of yourselves. And also, I have had this comforter dry cleaned 3 times prior to this wash and have never had any issues. People spend good money to have their valuables taken care of and as a cleaning company you should know how to adequately care for such items.

I sent two feather and one alpaca duvet here for a cleaning. I got the two feather duvets back with an explanation that the alpaca duvet had been damaged beyond use and I would be compensated. I thought I’d be in a real fight to get anything close to the value of the duvet ($800) as compensation. However, within 2 days of submitting the receipt for the duvet, they called and offered me the maximum outlined in the fair compensation guide for fabrics, an honest explanation of what happened and a sincere apology. Excellent customer service - will definitely continue to go to Browns.

I was a loyal and extremely satisfied customer of Modern Dry Cleaners (Bronson & Catherine, in Ottawa). The Potter's, the previous owners were outstanding people and customer service and quality of service was exceptional. Since the purchase of the business by Brown's the quality of service has become sub-par. It began with a stain on a shirt that took four returns to remove.i. E.they gave me back the pressed shirt with the exact same stain four times. They ruined a pair of casual pants by not properly pressing them and creating extra creases. They recently lost one of my favourite Kenneth Cole dress shirts and when I asked them to shorten the sleeves and press a sports jacket they returned the pressed jacket with chalk marks on the sleeve. I've been dry cleaning my clothes for more than 20 years (both in Ottawa and Toronto) and have never experiences such lousy quality of service. Once they find my shirt and fix the jacket they already charged my for, I will no longer be a customer.

Always friendly service and they do a great job. Prices are maybe a little high, but they have parking on Bronson (rare) and their hours are great for drop-off / pick-up before and after work.

We had Brown’s do over $700 worth of laundry for us due to a special circumstance. They picked everything up which was very convenient and the communication was good until we got our clothing back. We asked them to specifically make sure that care was taken to look out for delicate items and they assured us this would be done. However we noticed a lot of our clothing shrunk significantly. In addition several items of clothing were ruined completely. We contacted Mike who we had been in communication with throughout to see if something could be done to give us some of our money back as we were very disappointed with how many items of clothing they ruined. I would assume a company like this would know how to wash clothes properly and take care of more delicate fabrics. However, we never heard back from Mike after we contacted him to complain. We are very disappointed with the service and are not happy customers and would not recommend Brown’s.

High prices and poor service. Had a dry cleaning coupon and was informed that the coupon was not valid towards shirts because they don't actually dry clean the shirts. The whole thing was very misleading. Won't return.
