The real highlight of this place is the Colpoy Cavern side trail. Don't miss it! (Tuck your walking sticks away as you'll need to use your hands. ;)

Loved it here! Good for a family outing it cost 10 dollars to park when I went. The trail is gorgeous and it was not to busy during the week lots of places to take pictures the caves are great but the trails themselves are amazing and peaceful.

Well worth the short walk from the parking area, which is quite flat and should be within the capabilities of even most retired people. The cave impresses and I found the forest trek up to it relaxing.

Great to stop by for a day hike! Location is easy to access and doesn't appear to be busy during the week. There is paid parking and access to the caves is free. There is no staff either.
The walk to the caves is about 10min.to reach the caves. It's a very easy hiking trail. As you approach the caves, the elevation turns to loose and hard rock. Be sure to wear proper hiking shoes.
The cave itself doesn't go very deep, about 40 deep and about 30 feet high. Place seems to have some history about the man it's named after. It was an interesting subject to look into after. There is also a hiking loop that runs tight to the cliff face. This hike is much more difficult than the hike trial access.
Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

This is a really cool place to visit. The cave is pretty big and the whole area is really neat. If you like hiking I recommend taking the Bruce trail from the parking lot up by the road. It's a beautiful walk, at end of May there's trillium flowers covering the forest floor. It's absolutely beautiful. If in the area again I will definitely come back again.

A Well-Preserved Cavern System!
My sons and I ventured and see for ourselves these caves in the area during our road trip to Bruce Peninsula back in Aug 2022. I was quite impressed by them! We ventured around, even squirming though the cracks and crannies. I didn't feel unsafe despite its intimidating walls (what if a rock fragment fell on us). My only issue was driving through this little narrow and bumpy gravel road that goes through the Conservation park to the caves. It look quite sketchy which made me a bit nervous. It is so narrow and steep quite steep in some parts, I can’t imagine how the opposite vehicle would be able to pass! Other than that, what a spectacular the caves were. Well recommended!

Interesting geological site!

There are 2 parking lots.
I would recommend:
1. Park at the first parking lot (lot#1). Most ppl parked in lot#1 and walked to the trailhead. I don't recommend parking in lot#2 because the road leading to lot#2 is very small and sketchy.
2. Walk about ~15 min from parking lot #1 to trailhead.
3. Walk ~15 min from official trailhead to cave entrance.

One big cave.there are probably more.but didn't explore too much due to slippery weather.
Bring good hiking boots. Don't recommend climbing to caves for ppl with back/knee issues.

Only outhouses, no flush washroom on site. Overall, the park could use better signage/directions.

Also, a beautiful view of the Georgian Bay outside the parking area.

Beautiful natural scenery.the short drive from the small parking space next to the main road to the inside area is gorgeous.breathtaking in Autumn. The hike to the Caves is about 15 minutes and can easily be done with kids. The Caves are amazing and definitely worth a visit if you're exploring the area.
