BSW BEAUTY - SCARBOROUGH

Idk why we as black people keep going to these spaces, they clearly don’t like us. Y’all get humiliated, stalked, and disrespected all for profit there are better black owner business in Scarborough that don’t treat us like stereotypes. Fix up they just want your money not you.

Peter the cash/sales person is harassing and following me throughout the store. Also refuses to serve me and I had ask othe employees to assist me. I ask Peter for a mirror to look at my hair to match a weave sample but refuses to so I have to ask another worker to do so. I asked to look at the weave bundles on the wall plus I'm 5,1 and can't see over the counter. Peter told me I can't look at the hair but the other coworkers said I can. Peter refuses to serve me yet follow me around the store. 1 female coworker asked Peter if he was ok because of his movements and Peter replied no he not ok. I don't know I did to deserve the attention or behavior. He was very unprofessional and I've been shopping here for years. I need this matter to handle. People should not be treated like this. Today is Sunday September 24th 5.07pm please the store camera. This store location

Honestly been years since coming to this place, but it’s literally down the street from me right now. I just haven’t had a chance to come back and shop since every time I walk or drive past it’s closed (haha).

Definitely love beauty supply stores. They’re much more of a different vibe from your local chain stores like Wal-Mart or Shoppers Drug Mart. Way better if I have much to say about it.

The content of products available at beauty supply stores are more different, and better quality, from products available anywhere else because most products available here you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Unless it’s online, then I will definitely take back what I just said.

The prices are good and okay — I mean affordable and decent. Most beneficial for small local business owners in the beauty industries to find their products best suited towards their services. However, also not bad for the one-off convenience of saving money by paying for these services and purchasing these products yourselves to use on yourselves or others, rather than have it done professionally.

I can’t wait to find myself back in here to find the products I need and want the most to get my hair back to a colour I had before because it was one of the best colours I’ve ever had. I’ll only find it here or at any other Beauty Supply Store.

Since I haven’t been in here for a while yet, I am unable to offer one of the best parts of a review in regards to comparing BSW Beauty Supply Store, with what may be their best competition, being Sally’s Beauty Supply. However, I could be wrong and might even learn something from this. Either way, It’s been a minute since I’ve been in either one, but from what I know is that the last beauty supply stores I did ever shop in was Sally’s.

It wouldn’t be fair or honest of me to offer anything to this part of the review when I cannot even remember my last time ever shopping here. So until I get to, I won’t say anything more.

So until then…. Looking forward to the part where I’m finding myself adding/editing more to this specific review.

I went in with my mom looking for hair jems. When we asked for help this girl with long, big, red braids was very unprofessional, and talked to my mother disrespectfully. This store should be hiring people with customer service skills not girls with the “Toronto Hood Girl Attitude”. The girls here are more interested in talking to friends than helping you find what you need.

I am not impressed by the customer service I received at this establishment. I bought an electric hot comb and upon getting home the comb would only heat up enough to burn my hand but not straighten my hair. I immediately went back to exchange it. I had 5 employees all talking at me at the same time, all of them telling me that I can’t return or exchange because it was hot to the hand. I asked why it was necessary for all of them to stand in front of me repeating the same thing. Long story shot, I left and let them have the hot comb because it was no use to me. So buyer beware when buying this item. It’s a shame because this was my go to store for all my hair products I have since moved to another business.

They have a few options off wigs but you only can try only 3. How it’s possible? I don’t recommend and staff wasn’t good.

I went with my sister to get something for her and I was very pleased with service we got from one of the employee her name is Aisha she is very patient, professional and friendly. Tahnk you for your service and keep up the excellent customers service skills.

Love this store. They have a wide range of hair care products for type 4 hair and they are reasonably priced.

Best beauty hair store. If you're on a budget for kanekelon braids, it starts at 1.99 and up per pack! I also got a hair oil called the flax seeds with vitamin E for my daughters hair. She had a small bald spot on the middle part of her head. Using that 4 times a day and the whole area is full of hair! Its growing out and im very happy about it. This is the go to store. Good service, too.

Extensive selection of every imaginable hair product by all major and niche brands. Got a great leave in conditioner! The store is spacious and well laid out. There was lots of commotion behind the counter with employees interacting with each other (and not with customers). The checkout line moved quickly though. There is apparently a rewards program but no signage on how it works and it was not offered at checkout

Had most of the items I needed. Friendly cashier. Great samples, I'll actually use them. They had a product that I have been looking for that has been sold out online. So, I am very happy about that. The girl that helped me was very knowledgeable.

A large variety of supplies, decent prices, friendly staff, clean store environment, convenient location.

Such am amazing store. Great inventory. Staff is very friendly. And didn't mind my mask less shopping. Will be returning frequently.

THEY STOCKED THEIR WINDOWS WITH FLYERS AND PRODUCTS FOR YOU TO SEE ALSO YOU CAN SHOP ONLINE AND PICK UP AT THE STORE OR YOU CAN CALL THE STORE TO PRE-ORDER AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU CAN GO THERE AND ORDER AND PAY AT THE DOOR. PLEASE DO NOT BE RUDE THEY'RE ONLY THERE TO ASSIST YOU AND AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU ARE THE BUYER. THEY HAVE HAIR PRODUCTS AND UTENSILS, MAKE UP AN ACCESSORIES, WIGS AND EXTENSIONS, ECT. I have been in a journey to have more natural kinky/curly hair. So I've been following CG method (Curly Girl/Guy). Any time that you would want can be found at this store. It's very well stocked and has great variety of items and brands. If you need hair products, this is the place to go.

Very helpful staff. Since I wasn't sure what I wanted. The young lady showed me a bunch of stuff and was very knowledgeable.

Customer service is great. I went day during covid and if you didn't pre-order it was fine. You could shop on the front door so what they did was left the tablet with the customer at the front door and the person inside the store will shop for you and show you the items on the tablet. And they were great with getting stuff on the fly you knew what you needed and they seem too happy to do it.

I was not able to go inside and both what I wanted. And even do I both at the door. I walks away remember that I need something else. And the lind up was really long to go back in.

A bit limited in terms of their stock but still a great place to go and shop for your beauty needs.

Unfortunately, doesn't have the selection I'm accustomed to from BSW. Don't know if I'll go back.

BSW store in Scarborough has all your hair product needs. Ajax location has better access and parking.

Nice place, the music sounded like elevator music but that's ok, the service was absolutely amazing and you could find literally everything you need for hair products

Wow, this franchise got nice wings at fair prices. I was surprised cause I know its can be a challenge to find affordable wigs that are beautiful in canada.

Helpful staff aided me in finding the products I needed and made my first ever visit very welcoming. It was fairly easy to find my way around the store and despite a somewhat long lineup the cashiers quickly took care of everyone. Quite impressed with my first visit to this location.

Has a lot of good products for low prices. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products in the store.

So much better than Clores. Better selection, cheaper in price point.the staff is sweet and happy to help. Closest you will find to american hair store quality in the east end.
