BTrust landscaping

I was looking for someone to do some landscaping work in our backyard. We found BTrust Landscaping by searching on Google and asked for a quotation based on the rating. When I requested the quote, I was a bit uncertain as I have never used a contractor without reference from friends or family.

As soon as I submitted the online quote request in the evening, Johnny called and made arrangement to come by to see the yard that needed the work to provide me with a quote. He arrived as scheduled and provided with me quotation verbally for the various projects I wanted done. When I asked for written quotation, he immediately provided it. When asked, he also provided more details/specs on how the project will be completed and provided a timeline for 3-4 days for completion.

As our backyard faces the main road, I was concerned about the safety of removing our existing fence completely and leaving our backyard unprotected during the night, as installing the new fence would not be completed within a day. Johnny assured me that they can remove and replace sections of the fence at a time to alleviate my concerns.

He also readily accommodated my change requests whenever I asked him without any change to the cost. With the additional space that became available by the removal of the hot tub, he suggested two options - either extend the interlock paving he was going to do in a smaller area, or to extend the existing deck. He provided reasonable quotes for both options, and eventually we went with the deck extension.

All the works were completed to perfection within 3.5 days as promised. The project looks very nice. Johnny and his crew will be coming back for another project next year. I have no hesitation in recommending Johnny and his crew for landscaping work. He is trustworthy, professional, and courteous, and performed quality work.

Decided on an exterior upgrade this year to our property and hired BTrust Landscaping for the project that included patio, walkway, entrance and driveway border. Resod everywhere else. Johnny worked with us on the plan and estimate. He was patient with our questions and changes. We were also super impressed by the crew, especially the Lead, who has us convinced that he is master of his trade. He directed the team, handled equipment with ease, and even built our gates.

The BTrust team are really great to work with. Courteous, good communication and cleaned up daily before leaving. Once they got started they kept us updated on progress. They can speak English and several dialects of Chinese. After project was scheduled and they began, it took a week and we are really happy.

Johnny and his team are amazing! The service that they provided was the best we ever experienced with any contractor. Johnny is honest, patient and accommodating, and he will work with you to address any issues that arise. His team was extremely hardworking and showed up on time every morning and worked well into the evening every day. Before they left, they always cleaned up the garbage and swept the dirt on the driveway, sidewalk and road. They even helped to clean garbage left by other contractors.

When I first contacted Johnny, he immediately came to meet me and spent hours to discuss my project. While others charge a fee to provide a plan, Johnny prepared one at no cost even before we discussed pricing, and having no idea whether or not he would get the job. He made many revisions as we discussed the design, and just when we thought we were done, I completely changed the plan to include a pool. Instead of getting irritated, Johnny said no problem and immediately made further revisions once again. He even gave me contacts for the pool installation. In fact, he gave us reliable and very reasonably priced contractors for every service we needed (plumbing, electrical, grass sprinkler, privacy screens). We added several extra things throughout the project and Johnny was always quick, responsive and accommodating.

Johnny’s team had to work with other contractors on our project, and he kept them on track, pushing them along, and sometimes even assisted them with their work to keep things progressing. Johnny’s team arrived onsite to begin the project exactly when they said they would and they finished on schedule just as they promised. Everyone was shocked to see that they finished the full project within 3-4 weeks.

Thanks to Johnny and his team, our backyard is now a beautiful oasis! Everyone who visits is amazed by the
quality of their work and we can’t stop singing their praises. We’ve recommended Johnny to everyone we know. He really is the best!

They did interlock (front landing, driveways sides and steps down to backyard) for us back in 2020 in Oshawa. Home projects are always nerve-wracking because you want to choose the right contractor and you want the job done correctly and to your desired standards. Johnny and his team have transformed our backyard and made us a porch that we have gotten a lot of compliments on as it has really elevated the look of our home. Him and team were very accommodating and very helpful in the whole design from start to finish. What we liked about Johnny was he was not just agreeing to all of our requests like other companies we got quotes and designs from. He told us we can do it but a different approach for some of the requests would potentially look better. He not only gave us something that was very functional but something that made sense for our needs. Some of the suggestions actually lowered the price of our project but he recommended it because he knew it would look better than what we were thinking at first.
