Buchanans Steak & Seafood

We had a great experience dinning at Buchanans. The highlight was our server who took exceptional care of us. He personally ensured our requests for modifications were fulfilled. The food was yummy and we enjoyed everything we ordered, from the beer on tap to start off the meal, to the desserts. It was everything we hoped for on a Sunday night dinner with a kid, who was fully engaged in the activity our server provided, and whose food arrived super quickly anyway, so, thank you kitchen staff! This place is a hidden gem and we look forward to dinning there again someday.

Had a great meal and service was amazing. Great staff, our server Shayla had a fantastic sense of humour and her suggestions were bang on.

Ribeye is the way to go. Good price excellent service. The french onion soup is as authentic as it gets.

There should be more people eating in this restaurant. Our server was attentive and helpful. They offer free bread before your meal. The beet salad was large and very fresh and we were able to substitute goat cheese for cheddar cheese. The pickerel was fresh and tasty. It came with rice, vegetables and spicy relish. The salad was only $12 and the pickerel was $28. Very reasonable for a restaurant in a hotel. Been to this restaurant several times and we will be back. The restaurant did not charge a special tax/fee unlike other restaurants in Niagara Falls.

Over the past several years I visited The Falls, I’ve never been disappointed at this restaurant. It is cozy and never too busy. The staff are friendly and very courteous. You MUST order the beef short rib, you will not be disappointed!

Great experience. My dinner was delicious. I had the shrimp tagliatelle and a glass of Riesling. Portions were generous. I would definately go back!

Mediterranean salad was not consumable.
Server said she would let the cook know! Big deal! Beet salad could also not be eaten.

Very tasty food here and reasonable prices compared to the luxury restaurant in area and Service is very good! Will definitely come back if we are visiting again

Our family rarely enjoys a hotel restaurant. We usually only go for convenience. But Buchanans is worth a trip in itself. We had a great family dinner. Everyone loved their meal from children to grandparents, meat eaters, fish eaters and vegetarian! The service was a little slow but made up for it with very friendly staff.

Stayed at the DoubleTree and went down to order dinner to our room. I had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, but they did only have a few staff members running around like crazy!

The Chicken Caprese was delivered to our room about 20 minutes after we placed the order, just as the courteous waiter said it would be. I was surprised when it did arrive right on time!

The food was hot and delicious! The portion is American sized.ample enough for my daughter and I to share a dinner and have leftovers for a little bedtime snack!

Cute wooden knives and sporks were included.though the knife was as efficient at cutting chicken as a pencil Not the restaurant's fault, though! But, grab some plastic cutlery elsewhere, if you can.

The menu is confusing.they need to update Google. The images of the menu were what I had to choose from. I didn't ask about the availability of other items not listed, but I've seen customer images of the Duck Confit Spring Rolls, which are listed on the Google menu but not the in store menu, so it's worth an ask!
