Literally best vegan Chinese food ever. My family has been coming here ever since I was a kid. The crispy chow mein noodles and the mock duck are my favourites
The food was amazing and perfect for a rainy day to warm you up, the owners/servers were lovely.we managed to get a table but there are only about 5 tables so seating is not garunteed!
Chinese vegan food. We had the vegan drumsticks (delicious), eggplants & tofu in black Bean sauce (decent), vegan duck on crispy noodles (doesn't look very pretty but quite tasty).
A very small restaurant with very friendly staff. Good Chinese vegan food. Maybe I had unreasonable high expectations after reading the reviews. The food was good but I would call amazing. Some dishes are worth going back for.
This is one of the best vegan restaurant that I’ve tried! The food is really good, flavours and taste are amazing! The owner is so nice and definitely if I come back to Toronto I’ll be go here again! ️?
Delicious food and great portion sizes! We had the beef and broccoli, fried rice noodle with veggie meat and satay sauce, general tao chicken, and sweet and sour veggie ribs and everything was fantastic. Highly recommend for eating in or takeout.
Our favourite Chinese food place that just so happens to be vegetarian and with vegan options. If you like a casual, authentic, crowded and busy atmosphere with a genuinely happy and well meaning staff, this is the place for you. The best part? Their prices have not increased to the crazy obnoxious amounts that other restaurants have.
Good sized portions, and I like how they do their tofu, but personally I found the vegetables almost inedible. Bland, unseasoned, almost as though without garlic or ginger. The problem becomes especially clear when you try to eat the leftovers the next day: too much goopy corn starch in the sauces, which you can overlook when it is fresh, but which coagulates badly over time. Chef, what does goopy corn starch add to the quality of the dish? I think based on the menu that the restaurant specializes in fake meats, and maybe it's ok if that is your thing, but as far as I can tell this is not the place to go for fine Chinese vegetable dishes. That is a bit ironic given that it is a vegetarian restaurant. So in my opinion, not at all worth the price. Also, they forgot part of my order.
One of the best vegan spots, whenever I am in the west end of the city I try to stop by. I've only done take out but there is a small dining area with seating available and the last time I went it was busy. Food is always tasty and generous portions.
I had there lemon chicken a few years back and would think of it every so often finally found the place again and got it, still as delicious. Only thing is order little, the food is filling but I got to bring food home so win win
Awesome little place off the beaten path near Kensington Market. Some of the best vegan Asian food I’ve ever had, managed/owned by a proud and energetic gentleman that oozes pride to his establishment and backs it up with great taste and stellar service. The gluten free options are legit for those who suffer from celiac as they isolate the cook for these items. I will be back.
Everything was delicious. We asked for what they recommended. One was sweet and sour (can’t remember the other but it was a bit spicy) with mushroom fried rice it had a very smokey taste which we liked.and everything was vegan! Yum
BEST VEGAN CHINESE RESTAURANT I’ve ever been to! Such compassionate people; the portions are huge yet affordable; FOOD is phenomenal, comforting but also healthy.
I can go on about this restaurant. It is my favourite in Toronto’s Chinatown!
We had the most delicious meal here! We ordered the green beans and soy chops, black bean noodles with eggplant and tofu and hot & sour soup. The green beans were so amazingly crispy and flavoured, it's definitely become a family favourite. The food here is very reasonably priced and it makes it a very easy decision to come and eat here.
Best Vegan food possibly ever. Incredible array of dishes, perfectly made, amazing service. I'm still dreaming of the food 2 months later. If the owners ever make a recipe book, please let me know!
Edit*** it's been 10+months and I still dream about the food here.
Best vegan Asian restaurant i have ever been. The beef and chicken tastes amazing and its a cool tiny place. Also the owners seem super nice and friendly!
Sam is a wonderful guy who own and runs this place. They serve fresh tasty vegan food, my go to takeout place once a week. Try their vegan chicken or vegan fish sizzler, you won’t regret it.
