Budds' BMW Motorrad

After 30 years of dealing with bike shops and owning 6 different bikes, I felt compelled to share my experience with Dominick (sales) at Budd's BMW Motorrad. The guy is the face and soul of this place and he has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had dealing with a bike shop.

Dominik is very resourceful and knowledgeable when it comes to bikes, in particular the BMW GS model line. As a rider himself, there isn't a question he can't answer and he always points you in the right direction if an answer is not available.

It's taken me almost two years of visiting this dealership to finally pull the plug on the right bike for me, and I found every visit with Dominik, from my very first to my final test ride, to be a real treat. He always took the time to listen and I never felt rushed or pushed around as you often hear to be the case at other dealerships.

Riding a bike is a life-changing experience and it's important to get the right bike for you. This guy knows it and knows how to make the whole experience as smooth as possible.

I now look forward to getting to know the service team and on following Dominik's advice and tips for exploring new routes with my new bike.

Another excellent service experience. Had some issues on a bike trip in the US. The advice I got while away was great. I did end up having to come back early but they diagnosed the issue in minutes and got my part and repaired my bike the next day. Thanks John, Anthony and the team.

Last March I ordered a classic chrome R9T from Budds'. The bike was not yet built but Dominick in sales was able to contact a higher up in the BMW Motorrad Canada management to secure an allocation - the last one for that specific variant. He pulled that off on a Saturday morning. Phenomenal effort and result. Fast forward and the bike build date got moved by several weeks so delivery was early. Excellent communication and guidance from Dominick up to and even past delivery. Dominick is a real pro - a people person who relates well and really knows his customers and products. Once a delivery date was set John Parker, who heads up the service team, scheduled the break-in service totally meeting my time and mileage needs. He pulled this off with an already busy schedule. Delivery was flawless and the bike impeccable. Almost too well prepped and too pretty to ride. Break-in service came with Anthony, Johns right hand man, heading things up. An outstanding job with the bike thoroughly gone over, some adjustments made, and things polished up. Not to let sales or service off easy, I had a few issues with the bike that were of my own making. May deserve to get on a list for being one of "those" customers. Both John and Anthony were understanding and professional in helping me out and setting things back on course. Budds' Motorrad has a well oiled team that delivers the goods. This was my second purchase from Budds' with the first being a 2009 R1200GSA. A satisfied customer of some 14 years.with hopes for many more. Highly recommend Budds' for BMW motorcycle needs in the GTA.

Great place, great service. I highly recommend Budd's BMW Motorrad. I was dealing with John Parker, everything was explained thoroughly and was done perfectly, even couple accessories that I bought online. Also I was dealing with Dominick, by far best customer service. My next purchase is going to come from Budd's because of Dom, no pressure whatsoever only trying to explain cons and pros for the bikes I was interested in. Thank you guys. Bmw makes great bikes but customer experience is what sales them.

No complaint with the sales team. Bought my 1250 here without any issues. Dom was great.
One star is solely on the service guy John. Without informing me he performed services I didn’t need (as per their doc) and then presented a hefty bill which I had to pay. That is after quoting me a lower amount. Make sure you double check what the services are and how much it will cost exactly or you’ll end up paying a lot and regret it. This is beside the rude attitude problem John has. Guy needs some customer service training. Strongly advise BMW to look into this guy and customers to beware of overcharging.

Really appreciate having Budd's BMW Motorrad in Oakville. They are everything you want from the place to help you care for your bike. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. They know what they are doing and all of them deeply understand bikes and why we love them so much.

The service department in my mind at one time had an outstanding reputation.
Not so much anymore.
A while back called in to have some warranty work done on my bike, and when I told them I didn't need any extra service done, they booked me 4 months out.
And on top of that, they re-routed my fuel lines improperly and lost a rubber bushing.
Questioning whether I will buy from them again, let alone having any service work done there.

Budds Motorrad performed my 40,000km service. As promised bike was picked up and then brought back clean and running great. Very good customer service by John and Jamie.
