Overall, my experience at Budds'
was very efficient, with the exception of one factor. I did not receive a communication on Friday, January 12 to indicate that my car was ready for pick up despite being told I would be contacted and leaving a few voicemails. Other than that, I was pleased.

Front bumper and hood replaced on a 2017 sti. Looks brand new. Gaps all lined up nicely and paint looks great!

My experience was phenomenal and breathtakingly smooth, the star of the show was Mohanad (Mo) from the minute I spoke to him he knew what he was talking about…. He walked me through every single detail and went above and beyond to explain everything and how it’s going to be done and even took out the time to compare market prices and the price he quoted me and show me how Budds is basically giving me the best bang for my buck. Since then my friends have gone to him aswell and speak very highly of him. His energy is amazing and the professionalism with which he talks and presents himself is incredible and I would definitely promote him if he was on my team…. Once again I’d like to thank him for his service and he definitely has convinced me to become a regular customer

Top notch repair and paint work on the aluminum hood, grille and bumper my Bmw, it is busy workshop and like any project a little
more had to be on my car than initially assessed.friendly staff, and were quick to address any concerns. They washed my car too. I recommend Budd's.

My daughter had a couple of accidents last winter, very close together due to icy roads. Budds' Collision were nothing short of amazing, from helping her roadside and walking her through procedure, helping her with a rental, taking car of the repairs and at the same time being as courteous to her as ever. I couldn't have done it better myself, and greatly appreciate their help! I highly recommend the staff at Budds' and will do so over and over, thanks so much!

My car was here for accident the insurance put on total loss, I picked some staff of my car and I said them that I’ll back for my hydraulic jack when I back they told me the car is not any more. Never called i know they taken

Worst experience I’ve had with a bodyshop, especially with a “state of the art” facility.

What should have been a 1-2 week repair, took 2 months to “complete” to their standards. I had another vehicle to drive and was extremely patient to let them take their time, hoping I would get quality work.

The final repair cost doubled compared to the initial estimate before beginning the work, which would have been the determining factor of whether my vehicle would have been a write off or not.

On top of that, the shop declined to refinish other areas of my hood and bumper due to “previous damage unrelated to the collision” being stone chips. I ended up having to pay for this out of pocket although being 100% not at fault.

Outer tie rod where the repairs were made was left loose to the point a severe accident could have happened, had I not brought the vehicle to my mechanic to have a check over.

Door stopper was not installed on the replaced door skin.

Small items on the itemized breakdown were listed, but not replaced.

They try to get you to sign a waiver for satisfaction of the repairs before even seeing the vehicle.

Vehicle was handed over with compound all over the exterior, looks as though they hadn’t even bothered washing the vehicle beforehand.

My insurance representative has been attempting to contact the shop to address my concerns, and they haven’t been getting back to them.

I used to hear good things about this shop, but it seems that the quality of work and customer service has gone downhill.

Upon seeing the most recent reviews, it looks like these issues are now common practice from this shop.

Budds Collision provided exceptional service for my 2013 Mazda 3. The management was top-notch and made sure to communicate every step of the process. The work done on my car was of the highest quality, leaving it looking brand new. What impressed me the most was the quick turnaround time, allowing me to get back on the road in no time. I highly recommend Budds Collision for anyone in need of collision repair services.

Lack of communication, nobody picks up phone.
Took more than 3 weeks for a very small problem, have so many processes that aren’t streamlined or managed well.
Had to call almost everyday, leave voicemail to advisor and manager to get my car delivered in 3 weeks (was told its a 6 day job)

I was in a minor accident. Insurance suggested to take my BMW here. I was promised that the work will complete in 10 days. It took Budds’ Collision a month and three weeks to complete the work and upon pickup there was still minor work that was not correctly completed. The agent on who was suppose to help was never on close to phone, support agent were awful.
Not happy with service rendered.

Good service, however communication can be better towards owners, as rentals are crazy expensive and not knowing when car will be ready. Appreciate the repairs but communication really sucks and could be better.

The worst company i have ever experienced. They don’t repair electric cars. They said they will fix my car for only 6 days and it took over a month to fix it. In fact they don’t repair electrical cars they are lying. They took it to another company to repair it. I don’t advise
anyone to go there for a car fix.

Budds' did the impossible colour matching that nobody else wanted to do. 1987 Lagoon Green Metallic 928 s4. Super pleased with the work. Allie and the team are the best.

Budds collision was the right place to choose for my auto repairs. The car came back in perfect condition.

Things I didn’t like:
- the lack of communication from the estimator. Honestly, I hated that I had to follow up with him week after week, day after day. Even after leaving several voicemails.

Another review to explain no call back after 14 days. Avoid "Budd's" there are many better in Oakville. Found immediate and courteous service on Spears.

I recently had to take my Mini Countryman into Budds to repair a dent on my roof.exposing the metal. As a result they had to completely repaint the roof. The booking for the service was very quick and they arrange for a car rental for me as it would take 8 days. Having Enterprise next store is a great convenience. The work they did is exceptional, my Bonnie (name for my Mini Countryman) looks like a brand new beauty. Thanks for taking care of my car Budds!

Brought my truck here the first long weekend in August. The lady that I spoke with after hours was lovely and was able to give us the proper information to bring the truck in.

The issue was: It was an absolute nightmare trying to get ahold of the Lady who was handling our case with any questions regarding what Budds would be covering, going over the damages etc. We were constantly left on hold or sent right to voicemail, even emails were unanswered unless we called and complained.

They had our truck for about 5/6 weeks and throughout the entirety we were not updated on how the truck was, and as a result we had to get multiple extensions on our rental vehicle. Every time Budds gave us an estimated date as to when our truck would be finished we would call the day before and get told some excuse as to why it was not ready. I've worked in automotive so I can sympathize to an extent but we were constantly told "Oh no actually its at the shop, Oh no sorry its getting painted"

Now when they finally told us we could come get the truck - after another check in from us as we hadn't heard anything from the company, it wasn't even completely ready yet.

I came in to pick it up and it was not parked out front which was a bit concerning but the ladies at the front desk were quite lovely and said they'd send someone back to grab it for me. I did not see the Lady handling our case at all as I was told she was on lunch. Before the truck was brought to me/keys in my hand I was told to sign. Once the truck was brought to me no one walked around the vehicle with me I was given the bill and the keys and had to take a look myself. The first issue was there was a large noticeable grease stain which they did take care of by bringing the truck back to detail.

After I got the truck back I had to run back to work - it was after I had brought it home that I noticed the following issues:
My front passenger wheel liner was not put back in - it had been left in the box without the required plugs to put it in. There was a scratch on the rear bumper, scratches all over my driver window that I hadn't seen at pickup (they brought the truck to me both times with all windows down) and there was overspray all over my back window. Now at this point myself and my husband were already mad because of the terrible service but now my truck isn't even totally finished. The truck was also never aligned- driving straight and my steering wheel is completely crooked. It is my understanding that as per the MTO in any collision that an alignment should have been preformed to safely bring it back to me.

I did call the following morning to inquire about the failed repairs and asked about the wheel liner issue - there had been a box of random bolts/nuts/and technician garbage left on my front seat at pickup - and when I asked the woman if the plugs to install the wheel liner would be in that box so I could install it myself she hung up on me and did not reach out afterwards.

I will never be bringing another vehicle here - the communication skill and the attention to detail are non-existent. I would definitely take your vehicle elsewhere. Horrible experience

edit in response to owner: I have checked numerous times and there are 0 calls from your business regarding this matter. I guarantee you can find me as I SIGNED ALL OF THE PAPERWORK AND WAS THE NUMBER THAT YOU CALLED TO PICKUP. Absolutely no accountability with this business

The customer service has gone down. This was my 3rd time bringing in my Tesla. I was told it would take approximately 4-5 days and ended up taking 2 weeks. The communication in terms of updates or questions being answered was not satisfactory. I was never able to get a hold of the coordinator through phone and when I picked up my vehicle this time it was just a passing of keys and no walk around like previous times.

I took my car in. The lady was friendly and helpful. My car is in for 2 days.when i went to pick it up, everything was ready to go. The lady took time to explain what was done and the billing detail. Such a good service they have!

Worst experience ever. Supposed to take 7 days, they dragged it to 5 weeks. Had to call multiple times before you get an answer. Very poor workmanship. Will never ever let them touch my car again.

Additional edit to add some further detail:
Car dropped off on 1st day early am (Thursday).

Received call at 4: 03pm after calling several times for progress update and no information. Told that my car needed to go to an offsite location to have the wheel balanced the next day and needed to be left with them. Was expecting to be picking up at this time so was very surprised. I was then offered to pick car up and drop it back off next day for the follow up work but obviously that would have been very inconvenient.

After no contact all day on following day (Friday). Received email at 2: 32pm to say "The alignment is done I'm waiting on my production manager to have the vehicle picked up and brought back to our location at this time. "

Called several times again, could not get through so turned up at location at ~4: 30pm assuming car must be ready by then, dropped rental car and luckily my car was ready.

I obviously have the email above and phone records if needed to confirm my version of events but I suggest further investigation is done. Clearly this work was not completed in 1 day.

The response from Budds is completely incorrect and all lies. I suggest someone fact checks and calls me rather than continue with that.

I was not advised that the work would take 2 days. The repairs were not completed in 1 day. I did not leave my vehicle overnight by choice! Why would I, it makes no sense? I was stuck with a rental car that wouldn't even fit my garage and that I didn't even want.

The truth is below on the original post so I don't need to repeat it here. Avoid this place!

Awful customer experience. Booked car in for minor work that could be completed in an hour or two at most. Took 2 full days!

Also, communication during work was terrible, front desk won't provide updates and appraiser ignored me for 2 days and didn't even tell me when my car was ready.

My car was also left unlocked at a secondary location for hours waiting to be brought back and released to me.

It interrupted my work and made me late for my son's Taekwondo belt exam because everything was so slow. Dread to think what it would be like for a major job!

Took my Audi S4 here after I had badly scraped and bent the passenger door in an underground. The staff was very friendly and had my car back to me in no time. You can’t even tell that I had done any damage to it.
