Budget Car Rental

My Wife, Daughter, Granddaughter and I rented a car at the Halifax Airport. The car looked like it just came from the scrapyard and the car seat we rented looked like it just came out of a mud hole. After we returned from our vacation, we received a call stating that we had put a dent in the vehicle and they were looking for us to pay for the repair. I asked for the video of the car leaving the garage as proof and was told I could not have it but that I was responsible for the damage. WHAT? This is nothing but a scam by Budget. Will NEVER rent from Budget again and would never recommend this company to anyone.

They don’t have any cars for rental.
I booked a reservation through Priceline. Once I reached over there, it’s not even open.
Never ever try this rental place.

They have no cars but they allow you to plan and book cars that don't exist and the receptionist will tell you "you have to call budget and tell them we have no cars"

SCAM ALERT, THIS PLACE IS NOT A CAR RENTAL, AVOID THIS LOCATION < ALWAYS TELL ME THEY ARE BOOKED FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS <OR THEY DO NOT HAVE CARS > THEY IGNORE MY RESERVATIONS < ALL THERE CARS ARE ON LONG TERM RENTALS <WHAT EVER THAT MEANS < SO PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Honda in walkerton rent to everyone with respect and they have pick up and drop off service in Hanover. Thrifty rocks Enterprise rocks, this location is giving Budget a bad name. The owner at this place is very nice but I cant say the same for his staff. Your staff is ruining your business. I don't know why you would keep this women working there. Do you not read the reviews?

Very bad expereince with a rental car from BUDGET in Hanover Airport.was over charge and no responsiveness at all!

The sad excuse of a woman that works there is just the frosting on the cake. They don’t have any rental cars and are ruse to the customer when we are disappointed after we turn up and there’s no car! That we’ve reserved online. A smarmy. Should have called and no further assistance. I guess that’s why she’s a receptionist still

They will let you know that there are no cars the minute you walk in and say it's the budget's fault. Got no notifications that there would be any issue from them not budget. Would never use this business nor the Napa auto it is attached too. Just don't accept reservations if this is a common occurrence!
