Buell Street Bistro

I have been here several times over the past few years, and each time I go, I am a little bit more disappointed with the restaurant. While the food is usually delicious, last time, I went, my medium steak was practically blue. The inside seating venue is very cramped, and the service is exceptionally slow on a good day. Would be nice to have some variation in the menu as well.

We had an awesome meal tonight, the sea food was delicious. Chef Marc & Linda always make you feel welcome. One of my favourite places to eat.

Had Mums 100th Birthday celebration there last evening. Food was fantastic, service was excellent and they went out of there way to help us celebrate!

Wow over the top delicious meal. I had sirloin lamb which I've never even heard of before rare unbelievable flavor.

Pumpkin carrot soup which was also delicious.

Very impressive meal will go back again soon

Been working my way through the Brockville restaurants and this was by far the best yet. Fantastic service and really good food at reasonable prices considering the quality. For the first time in Brockville I can confidently say that I will be back!

Steak size was a bit small but other than that, everything was so delicious.
A bit loud for me but still, would definitely recommend to everyone.

I live over an hour away and I'm already thinking I'll need to make another trip, just for the food! Stuffed chicken was delicious, my friend was over the moon with her stir fry dish as well. Great, friendly service, she had great recommendations and did not steer us wrong. Art on the walls was lovely, I like that they're supporting local artists.

A nice little spot in Brockville, with great atmosphere and service. The appetizers were not worth it. Our party loved the pork entrée and ceasar salad with chicken, while the seafood fettuccine was fine.

Dinner with family on Aug 15/23, met with beautiful patio and friendly professional service. As having just moved from Toronto to the area, I was antennae up for the meal. I will say, it was at least as good as the restaurants I used to haunt and a very reasonable price. Well delineated flavours and subtle undertones unexpected. Antennae down, now. I will return with anticipation of an very good meal. 5 stars - highly recommended.

We were at the Bistro on Friday Aug 5th. After a long day of travelling, we found this lovely little place. The server was wonderful, food was amazing and the lovely back patio was just what we were looking for to enjoy.highly recommend

This meal was more amazing that I could’ve anticipated. The flavours complimented each other perfectly and if could’ve I’d have eaten a 2nd serving it was so delicious!

The manager gave absolutely TERRIBLE service, she was very rude and disrespectful towards my wife and I. We are never going there again after what we had to deal with. Do not recommend going there.

Love this local gem! It never disappoints. Staff is welcoming and attentive. We each had the seafood thermidor and it was outstanding. My sister had the sangria and said it is the best she’s had. We sat outside on the foliage surrounded patio and enjoyed our time together on a beautiful summer night.

I always followed reviews to make a choice of restaurants. This one has very good reviews. Maybe that was the reason our expectations were to high Because the overall experience with the food was not good.
The atmosphere and the service were great.
Unfortunately, the food was too expensive and not that good.
The stuffed chicken really wasn’t stuffed (they served the wing portion of the chicken and we never saw the stuffed thing)
The vegetables in the two plates that we ordered were almost the same and not that tasty.
The pesto saumon was dry. (I was expecting some flavour because, it is pesto, but It was not tasty)

Because I believe that reviews are important, I wanted to share my experience.
Hope other clients are/were more lucky.
