We recently had a ductless heating system installed in our apartment condo. The installers where very professional and did excellent work installing the system. All the pipes and wireing where neatly enclosed in channel. The electrician work was also very good. Everything was explained so we understood all that was to be done and they cleaned up afterwards.
I would recommend builders choice to look after your heating and cooling needs.

Just had Builders Choice install a heat pump system. Our salesperson (Curtis) was exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. Quick to return calls and emails.
The installers were excellent, very efficient and easy to talk too. Could not believe how well they cleaned up the job site when finished. (Sorry, I don't know their names). A special thanks to Ginger in the office (we had an issue with Visa). She was very patient and easy to deal with. Again would highly recommend this company.

We have had a few experiences with Builders Choice now, and every single one has been super positive. The office staff are always super responsive and helpful. And all of the technicians we have dealt with have been fast, professional, knowledgeable.

The first time we ever called them was when we were buying an income property. We had them come to our home inspection and do a once over of the existing furnace, and quote to add central air. That first experience was so positive, we have never even thought of calling anyone else any other time we have needed HVAC service in either of our properties.

Technician, Jay, was on site very quickly. Diagnosis and repair of my pool heater were spot on. His communication with me, the semi-educated customer, was exceptional. He comprehensively explained the issue and what was required to repair it, which he did in short order. Very comfortable and reassuring service. This kind of service makes Builders Choice an easy choice!

Unlike the last two well known companies that did installations for me within the past year Builders Choice installed my heat pump in a professional manner without any issues. Builders Choice installed a tankless water heater in our home. The installer was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was punctual and courteous and maintained a clean, safe work area. We would definitely use them again.

Your company was sent to us to repair a recall from a year ago if not for you I may have waited much longer with worrying about a possible fire hazard so thanks to you now I can finally be at ease knowing it's been taken care of.

We used Builders Choice Air to install a new Zuba ducted heat pump (a huge job). This is an amazing company. The crew did a fantastic job and were professional and kind. The heat pump works incredibly well and whenever we have questions about how to operate it, Builders responds immediately. We were so happy with their work we had them install an electric water heater which has also been excellent. Curtis worked hard to coordinate all installs with our electrician and the company was incredibly helpful with all paperwork for the Greener Homes Grant. Builders has excellent pricing, professional and knowledgeable staff, and they are very responsive to customer questions and needs. We highly recommend this company!

Builder's Choice had assisted a client of mine, who had purchased a home in late 2020 and had the home completely renovated, making the main level completely wheelchair accessible. Sadly, my client passed away earlier this year. In getting the home ready to rent, I ran into a couple of issues and called Builder's Choice back in to assist. From the first time I called in, Ginger Bell was always professional and did her very best to schedule a technician out asap (even when Builder's Choice was very busy with AC calls on the hottest days of the year to date). Technician, Shaun Markle, came out to assist me with a ventilation issue, as well as a hot water heater issue, and he was awesome. He walked me though the problems, advised me of my options, ordered the parts needed, and got back out the very next day to fix the issues. Very kind, very professional, very courteous, you really can't ask for more than that! I would highly recommend Builder's Choice to family, friends, and colleagues!

Jason is fantastic, competent and courteous. The issue required a few visits and a bit of troubleshooting but Jason was helpful is explaining everything and making sure I knew what was going on. The furnace at my parents wasn't working and I called builders choice over 10 times and left voice-mails, I was forced to call Reliance, Reliance came out that day and fixed the problem at no charge. The funny thing is my parents purchased rhe furnace from builders choice and it has a warranty. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Builders choice will be my first choice from now for all HVAC situations. Was looking for a new furnace after taking multiple quotes found out no one can beat builders choice. Curtis and install team was awesome. Made my install a priority and made it happen in next day. Installer was so organized and friendly. We called Builders Choice based on reviews. The reviews are accurate. We had no heat and young children; based on that BC sent a tech within two hours to assess. With a 45 year old furnace, we knew we were due. Met with Curtis from sales that day, had a new furnace 3 days later (they offered 2 days!). As a customer, I complete my due diligence. They checked all my boxes from start to finish. The sales team and techs are professional, honest, no pressure and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

These are good people, reliable and helpful. I have been using them for furnace maintenance and repair, and also installation of a new hot water tank. They kept you informed when they would arrive, and did not keep you waiting and guessing. They were polite and considerate. They got the job done. I wish more companies were like this, but quality companies are hard to find nowadays. Yes, I highly recommend their service. Even the receptionist was wonderful to speak with! We had Jarvis out to service our furnace this week. He asked great questions and took his time doing a full point inspection and report. Very professional and knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed.

The Lifebreath HVR unit in our home needed a repair. Set up an appointment for furnace maintenance service and a check of the HVR system. Furnace was tuned and parts ordered to repair the HVR unit. Repair was done in a timely manner. Jarvis did an excellent job. Once they give you a repair date and time, they call you on that day and let you know exactly when the technician will arrive. Friendly and respectful service. I highly recommend this company, will use them again and recommend their service to family and friends.

We were having excessive heat issues with our gas fireplace. Jason made some suggestions for us and then supplied and installed a set of fans to resolve our issue. Also, our fireplace was turning itself on by itself and Jason removed the remote control and wired up a wall switch for us. He was very helpful, professional and we feel very comfortable with his work.

We decided to add a humidifier to our HVAC system. Jason M.once again provided excellent service. He wore a face mask (Covid-19 precautions), was on time for our appointment and completed the work in the amount of time we expected. The installation of the humidifier/Water Savor was clean, neat and well organized. Jason took the time to go through the installation and answer all of our questions (I had many questions!). We are very happy with Jason's work. We believe he treated our project as if it were his own house. We recommend Jason's work to everyone.

Hired to install and relocate a furnace, water heater, and AC. Curtis is very knowledgeable and was accommodating while I was planning the project. Since the work included relocation of the furnace, he provided several options answered all my questions. The project took a couple of days, the technicians were always polite and on time. The work was completed on schedule and they left the work area tidy at the end of each day. Very happy with Builders Choice!

My furnace broke and they came in same day to look at it. Unfortunately it was a Friday, coldest weekend in February and it required replacement of the whole furnace. We got a quick quote (from Curtis) with a reasonable price and he made himself available for any questions or concerns I had. All information was clearly communicated and they made me very comfortable about the process, warranty, etc.

They provided us with a couple of portable heaters so we would not freezer to death given this was the coldest weekend in February.

They came in first thing Monday to install the new furnace and it was a quick install, we had it up and running and heating the house back up at around noon. Michael did a great job rearranging the pipes and cables and set it up in a way that it took less space in the furnace room. Very good job!

Hello, I don't normally post reviews but the reason I picked this company was because of the reviews which helped me so maybe I can help someone else. It was my birthday on Sat Jan 16 2021 of all days, and we had just gone out to pick out a birthday cake and about 10 mins after coming in the door this terrible noise was coming from the furnace. I called one company who was polite but not willing to help us because of the brand of our furnace. I then called Builders Choice based on their reviews I felt I was making a good choice. My husband jumped on line and found out what the name of the part was since you could hear it and feel how raging hot the motor was. When Jason called us back which took around 15 mins he was able to instruct my husband over the phone where to look on the furnace for the info he needed and my husband told him it was the exhaust motor by looking online. Jason was able to order our part without him coming out twice. He had to get the part from someone else and called us when he was on his way. Jason was here in 15 mins and had that baby purring like a kitten in no time at all.
The cost being on a wknd and having to get it from the only supplier available put the price up quite a bit, but we knew with it being an emergency call it would, so that was not a problem, we were just thankful we could pay the bill when during covid money is tighter for so many.
Jason was so polite courteous and professional and apologized a few times for the cost but under the circumstances we were just so thankful for him coming out and having everything all wrapped up in time for us to still have time to order take out and celebrate my birthday! All the while keeping us and our three pets warm in the middle of winter, thats alot to be thankful for right? We will definitely call them first if we have any other concerns and not be afraid, like I am to use other companies that have some terrible reviews.

Builder's Choice has serviced our heating system for over 15 years and we have been very pleased with their professional service and attention to detail. We have often recommended their service to others.
Within the last month our furnace "sprung a leak" - Jarvis came to assess the problem and quickly identified it as a collector box issue. He explained the purpose of said "box" and I agreed to replacing the part. The part was ordered and in 2 days, Jarvis returned and replaced the part. He was professional, efficient and very pleasant throughout. He is an example of the type of service we have come to expect from Builder's Choice.

From the first visit to discuss our needs & recommend a solution to today's installation, the whole team has been great. Curtis was helpful, answered all my questions, understood my unique needs, got me a formal quote quickly and scheduled the job much faster than I expected. The guys who did the job today - didn't catch all their names - were quick but thorough, kept us informed as the project went on, and left their work areas cleaner than they found them. Had a Mitsubshi hyper heat ductless system installed Great team did an excellent job. Left everything cleaned up even vacuumed the floors where they had to drill holes. All I had to do was sit back & enjoy my new system
