Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu

I love their beef soup! The girl is the kindest but all the rest are nice! They just always rush in serving but I like them and their food are yummy too!

Really tasty soups! They give huge portion of rice and soup and i love all the side dishes! I got the kimchi tofu soup and was soooo full after.i wish the menu had more variety though. Prices here aren’t too bad

The bulgogi soup is always my go-to
It’s very sweet and flavourful.
The atmosphere here is warm and cozy.

Go-to soon tofu jjigae place. Fair price, deep and authentic flavour, and I love that their rice is stone rice and has noorungji or however you spell it. Come here if you are in search for a hot and spicy jjigae.

A classic favorite when in Koreatown. Lots of different soon tofu options and very delicious and filling.

I have been coming to this place for 20 years. It's always good. The prices have gone way up that's on par with everything. The food is still excellent. It's a treat for me and my family.

Great food and big portions for the price. The only thing is they can't split the bill and it has to be paid in one transaction.

We were in the area and looking for some Korean food. This place is good for a quick sit down and go. It was a bit cold, I think the heat setting was on low. Other than that the food was amazing! We enjoyed dumplings, tofu and kimchi versions of soon tofu. Nice filling meal and good value

Nice warming broth, real good winter comfort food. Kimchi soon du bu is a favourite. Wife loves this place!

Buk chang is one of my favorite korean places, just not this location.

Months ago they decided to stop providing 2 of the 4 sides, no beans and no pickled radish. At first they claimed due to slower covid volume, but now it has seemed to stick around.

Give people all 4 sides! Thats half the fun.

BCDS tofu has been around for many years and it’s been a staple in the GTA. Easily one of my favorite places to go to for a quick Korean soup fix. It’s extremely authentic and I love the bon chon they give there with meal you order. The menu is not complicated since they only focus on certain dishes there which they do extremely well. Writing this makes me want to do another take out order. This place is always solid.

We ordered vegetarian soon tofu spicy and the mild dumpling soon tofu. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, you can taste the love that goes into their cooking. Highly recommended!

This place is worth visiting. They serve large portions for affordable rates. Consistently neat and with excellent character. Would recommend to others.

Love this place.only 9 things on the menus and they do them very well. The place is clean, the servers arent known to be super talkative but the food is really good and really fast. I've tried all 9 dishes and they all rock! CANADIANS NEED NOT BE AFRAID! Go here!

Its a nice family oriented vibe. The servers were quick and good. However, quite disappointed with the food. Maybe we didn’t order what their specialty is but regardless. I had bibimbap and i’ve had better ones elsewhere. Recommend it if you cant find other things and want something quick

Not as good as I thought compared to the many better ones of many Korean restaurants, service were ok because i asked for a fork had to asked twice. For some reason the food presentation is kind of mediocre but the taste is ok, maybe it's the MSG because I was so thirsty for the rest of the day.

Great comfort food! Been going here for years! It is the best soon tofu place in Toronto. Their other dishes are good too. They have locations in Bloor & Christie, Yonge & Finch, and Chinatown. The restaurants give off a very old style, homey Korean feel.

Keep coming back. Of all the cheap Korean eats around, we just find ourselves here. Try the bulgogi beef soup, at least my favourite. Good vegan choice according to my daughter-in-law.

If you like Korean you can't go wrong at this popular place. It's simple, tasty, good value, and the cold side dishes keep coming if you want. The menu is mostly grilled or broth dishes, no cooking at the table.

This is my go to place for having piping hot spicy tofu soup during winter and spring. They have a simple menu which makes it easy for a person ordering Korean cuisine for the first time. Unfortunately this establishment has fallen down in terms of hygiene. I would give it three stars dur to an incident that happened, unfortunately I did not take a picture. So will refrain from writing Abt it. But if you craving some soon tofu this is a nice place to go to

It use to be one of my go to places when I lived in the area. Still go when I can and it's cheap and cherry! The woman/ owner is always nice and will recognize you if your there often. They only have about 9 dishes that they do well. Lots of side dishes.

The place is packed. We had to wait for a while to get a table. The food was tasty. Big portion at decent price. Not enough meat, IMO, but with the price range, it's quite expected. Lots and lots of tofu inside the soup. Friendly service.

If you can get past the abrupt nature of the servers and the small busy atmosphere than this is The best Korean restaurant in the city.

The food is okay, a bit dull for the flavor but pretty cheap price for a decent meal. I tried the bulgogi soul with beef, it flavour is okay, not too delicous but good price.

This is an amazing spot for a warm meal on a cold day. I've been here a few times and each time the service is fast and courteous, and the food is delicious. Serving sizes are great and the soon tofu is really tasty.

My favourite place in the city to eat. Fantastic food for super cheap. Family who owns restaurant are amazing and super friendly!

The seafood soondubu had very little seafood in it so give that a miss but the tofu which is what it is known for was really worth the hype it was so soft and amazing in the spicy soup broth. The bibimbap was delish too!

Good food at great prices. Side dishes are ok. Sondoobu is ok. But great prices. Pleasant service. Nice experience
