I come here sometimes shopping for my company’s events since the store is within walking distance. No matter how much I’ve spent here, I’ve never been greeted or got customer service by the cashiers. They always look tired and cold to me. Today I came to return some baking stuffs purchased for personal use (small items - unused - with receipt), the manager’s attitude was even worse. He did not even communicate while processing the return and gave me a dirty look when it’s done. What a horrible experience. Never come back to this store again.

Great selection of products but staff are not very friendly. Saw some people took gummies out for sampling with bare hand but no staff monitor or stop these people. Unclear policy for bring your own container.

You are a retail store. I’ve come here before and it’s been fine, but I had a last minute cake I needed to bake for my brothers birthday so I came in 15 mint ice lake. I was rushing around and got everything but the pooling bags and tip and it was 8: 59 I busted to get them and as I was choosing it out I had a worker right behind me rapping his watch telling me to leave. I get it I worked in retail too, but I obviously made it clear I was really needing these thing I was leaving right at 9 and they still rushed me out, spending 100 dollars here isn’t enough to be welcomed I guess.

It was short and sweet because the store just opened and no ppl.ah the sweet sound of silence

I know that bulk has everything but I never expected that they have even specialty stuff. Spices, powders, raw grains, backed grains and nuts chocolate, butter, sweat treats, protein, savory treats.
In addition they have some packaged food and vitamins and butters.
Pricing is reasonable.
Employees are very helpful.
I highly recommend the place.

I’m in love with the stuff this place has to offer and the deals you get it on along with the quality. I came here to quickly check for dry fruits, found cranberries almonds cashew and pistachio both regular and salted. They also have great deals on chocolate and snacks like chips and sesame bites all by weight.

Just visit here if you wanna try few things out like wheat pasta, salads, sauces and other food items that you could in your kitchen.

They have a great variety of food available especially many healthy options. The location is good.

For a downtown bulkbarn its pretty good! A fine selection of goods and the staff were helpful. I went on a Sunday morning and it was hardly busy. Im just happy to have a bulkbarn near the heart of the city!

Very rude and unwelcoming staff. I'm sure customers can benefit from the variety of what they sell, at one of their other locations in the city.

Great customer service, nice variety of products but at times its cheaper to buy outside. And unless you bring reusable containers or go on a Wednesday for student/senior 10% off, it can get really expensive. If you do go and don't know if they gave a coupon for that week, where it's $2 off $10 or $5 off $20, just ask the cashiers they'll be happy to apply it to your bill, if that deal is available. Last suggestion is not to buy chip like products, I find it taste stale at times.

Best place for everything related to cooking and pastries large selection of all kind of grains nutty sweets. Very good quality

1 advice make a list of what you want and stick to it.if not you will always end up spending 2/3 times what you planned initially.

Been going there for along time, especially when there's discount coupon available & Wed's senior day, staffs are civility & helpful.

Cashier woman annoying with Covid measures and tell people to put their mask above their nose. I'm triple vaxxed and I have to be babied by a cashier apparently.

I have been shopping here since it opened. Great place, staff and selection. I especially like the selection of dried fruit, organic peanut butter and protein bars.and granola- delicious!

I was shocked when i went first time here. You can find lots of things about cakes, nuts, lots kinds of flours

It was a pathetic time. I get the items I wanted. I go to pay for them. They only have large paper bags. I was traveling back out of town. The bag would have been shredded by the time I got home. No reusable bags either. I left everything at the cash and walked out

I was there tonight asked one of the employees for an item he gave me a dirty look and answered that they don’t have the item I thanked him and was going to continue shopping that I noticed he was shaking his head in an angry way (not sure why) I confronted his behavior and he ignored me! I had to talk to the manager, no one was available.store supervisor accused me that perhaps my question caused his employee to act that was! I left the store pretty upset

This was a very clean and well run location. Organization of bulk items could be better arranged to more closely match the layout of other locations.

Felt extremely safe shopping here today. Staff make you sanitize, wear gloves and then once you take a scoop you place it in a bin so no one else touches it, even with you wearing gloves. Then staff come around and replace the scoops. Thank you Bulk Barn.

Their "no plastic bags" policy is annoying because:
(1) People use bikes. Paper bags have no handles.
(2) Sometime water falls from the sky and ruins paper bags (especially problematic if you're on a bike).
(3) They use plastic bags all throughout the store anyway.
Next time I come here I'm driving my truck so I don't have to ride my bike with one hand through the rain. But at least I will be saving the environment since no plastic bags will be used.

The staff are nice.

This place is fantastic. They had everything I wanted and more. The store is clean well-kept and the staff are courteous and well-informed

The staff here r really nice. Rhey always try their best and if can go above and beyond! Hard to find another bulk barn like these guys

Safety procedures in place: limited customers in store, mask mandatory, attendant sprayed my hands and made sure I took 2 gloves that were provided. Everyone in the store adhered to the requirements. Hope it's like this in all bulk barns.

The outlet at the corner of College/Carlton & Yonge has good covid protection procedures in place. Someone at the entrance helps you sanitize your hands, provides gloves and points out the need to follow the direction of the arrows on the floor as one goes around the shop. The scoop itself is well-stocked and the cashier who attended to me was helpful and pleasant. I come here often and am always impressed by hope we'll it is run.

Feeling safe to shop at Yonge/College Bulk Barn. They require every customer to spray provided sanitizer and disposable gloves. Hope this rule will continue no matter what.

Wish had 300ml of naya water bottles used to said dont other bulk barns do. Like can get honey roasted peanuts out of machine to be ur own like peanut butter spread

Staff is rude, when suggested they follow the arrows, I was told they are staff they can do whatever they want. Manager thought his power extended to being allowed to bully and insult. If the staff can't follow the rules they set up - how many other ones are they ignoring. Do they change gloves after using the washroom? Will not be back and I suggest others use the many other locations available with professional staff.

I really like their new way of helping shoppers to shop n at the same time able to protect all customers from the virus.making it more safe for everyone.need hire more extra this shopping helpers

They provide gloves and hand sanitization when you enter the store. You are then provided with a personal shopper to escort you around so you don't have to touch anything.this was a truly lovely experience and I felt very posh lol. There are glass.barriers for the cashiers. Everything looks really clean, and the food selection is excellent. I applaud this company for doing everything they can keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

On my last visit, the employee that assisted me was incredibly rude. I get that it's a tough job especially during a pandemic, but that's no excuse for treating customers badly.

COVID-19 has allowed some staff to demean customers, and the rest of the staff obviously can't handle the stress. I feel bad for them, but I honestly received the worst customer service of my life. Generally over-priced, and staff who have to fill your request don't know the difference between a kg and a lb. Never will go back to Bulk Barn.

GO TO DOOR AND GIVE FIRST/LAST NAME. Skip the in-store shopping wait line and tell the employee at the front you ordered online.

Nothing to say about the products, but boy some employees are rude. I understand that we're living stressful times but you can easily tell that some employees are hating serve the costumes.

Staff are rude and petty! Food supplies are infected with larvae! Just stay away! If you don't believe the larvae story just scroll through the other reviews. It should be renamed GARBAGE BARN.

I have been to this place many times (Specially because of it's proximity to college subway station and due to my frequent visits to downtown). It's a big store and you find almost all your baking/cooking stuff here. Staff is friendly and people at the register are nice.
My go to store for buying things, which you get in a bulk barn)

A lot of options for people that like candies, dried fruits and these candies.
Only observation is that the bags should be made by paper.

Floor staff is generally great but cashier service needs improvement. Most staff at counter seem miserable and unfriendly. Also I find everything I need here although hoping this location will bring in unsweetened matcha at some point

I bought 800 g Guji berry from Bulk Barn near Yonge & College 3 days ago.
Look at the worns and larva inside.
Is it the customer right in Canada?
The flies have spawned it and now insect larvae have been born

Rude employees! I was taking one seed from my own bag to see if it is fresh to buy more of it and the rude girl told me do not snack! Kidding me! I was spending $60 and their employee was calculating the cost of one seed! Cheap cheap people. I won’t come to your cheap store anymore.

Is this the world's biggest candy store? Well not quite but their stock will surely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Friendly Staff, fully accessible, well lit and clean, this store also stocks baking knick knacks, bins of varied dry pasta and is well situated at the corner of Yonge and Carlton right by the College subway.

This is my Bulk Barn experience,
