Best place to go for rainbow trout instead seeking rivers to fish plus the owner is super helpful

My family went in October. Very nice people. They even came around giving help and advice on how to catch fish. We caught 4 fish. We had a great time and great experience.

If you are thinking about fishing here, forget about it, and find a new place, the owners are SOOOOO STUPID I had a conversation with the SON and FATHER, they are really rude, I today is Wednesday, I check the site and I confirm that is OPEN, so I got my car and drove until here to realize that they only open on the weekends. Do not come to this place.

This place is such a fun experience to learn a new skill!
I came with my boyfriend as a unique date idea but we had zero knowledge of fishing. That didn't matter as all the staff were kind and welcoming but specific thank you to Jennifer who made our experience so much more enjoyable. She taught us with such a supportive and encouraging attitude. With her help, we actually caught a few fishes to take home! We honestly had so much fun, highly recommend for couples, family, etc!

Fun time fishing 5 bucks per person. 5 bucks to rent a fishing pole.they give you bait but what ever you catch you keep and pay for.

A great fishing experience for newbies. $5 admission, $5 rod rental. A net and bait is provided.

The ponds have plenty of rainbow trout. If you catch, you must keep.

Staff are all around to help with putting bait on the hook, teaching how to cast, untangle fishing line, unhook the fish.

There are shaded areas to fish from, but mostly unshaded.

Looking at about $20-$25 a fish. But they will clean the fish and bag on ice.

Great family friendly fishing spot. I went with a group that required a wheelchair accessible friendly event. You can easily maneuver wheelchairs in the parking lot right up to the fishing pond. It’s a bit bumpy but do-able. (Not recommend in wet weather. Wheelchairs could get stuck.) There is a large covered picnic area which was needed. It was a hot day.

Port-A-Potties on site. Pump action hand wash area. It’s clean for what it is. Super hot on the inside during Summer. Don’t stay in them to long.

The fishing was a wonderful experience. The staff put the bait on. They’d even cast the reel if you’re unable too. Every fish we caught we got to keep! Huge plus. Also, it was quite affordable for our group of 10-20 people.

A fun way to give the kids a chance to try fishing. No licenses are required to fish at the 2 ponds they have available that are filled with rainbow trout. Admission is $5 per person and another $5 to rent a rod, net, and basket plus bait (worms). You can also bring your gear if you want.

You have to keep any fish you catch, so something to keep in mind because the fish are priced at $32.99/kg. If you're not looking to go home with too many fish or to spend over a certain amount, keep tabs on the number of fish you catch.

The team there is very friendly, patiently showing everyone how to cast and sharing tips for catching fish. They're also around to help remove the hooks once the fish are caught, and they also clean, scale, and put the fish on ice for transporting home.

There are picnic tables around the ponds and areas of shade where there are trees (though being in the sun is better for avoiding mosquitos). Definitely recommend bringing a hat and some sunscreen and bug repellent.

Overall, it was a really good experience and seems great for amateurs, casual fishing, and families looking to enjoy a day of fishing. Would recommend it to others, and the kids want to go back another time in the future!

I can only say that it is a very bad experience. The attitude is very bad, and there is no attitude to talk to people at all.

Came at around 12: 30 and left at around 3.caught 3 pretty nice eating size trout. Very nice workers and water was pretty clear. Every fish you catch you ghave to keep and prices arent too bad. Recommend for everybody especially people with not that much experience.

There was a gentleman that took the time to coach me through the whole process. Easily one of the kindest people I've met in a long time. Phenomenal customer service, thank you to the wonderful staff!

I had the most incredible experience at this fishing farm! The serene and picturesque surroundings immediately put me at ease, and it’s the perfect place for complete beginners. They have everything on site so it was a hassle-free fishing experience. Would definitely recommend for young families!

Perfect place to spend with family/friends. We live in Stouffville for 12 years and it's the first time we came here. Wish we'd came earlier The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter had a blast. The fish she caught (6) a bit pricy, but what's cheap those days? !

Love this place. Every single time I go there, I'm treated like family, and I saw this is the treatment everyone gets. Ben there this summer already about 5 times, and every single time came home with lots of tasty fish and a great fishing experience. Huge thanks to Jennifer and Chris keeping this place at the best level of joy for everyone. My son even caught couple times >2 lbs fish with the net, you should see his reaction and excitement. Our family had fun! We didn't have experience but had a good catch. No need to bring fishing rods with you. You can take everything in place.

Realy nice place to go fishing especially if your new to the sport.the staff are supper helpful and friendly.it's only 10 dollars a person to get in. 5 dollars for rentals and 5 dollars for entry.they give you rods, bait, nets, and a cage to hold the fish you catch.you keep what you catch and the ponds are stocked with rainbow trout of all sizes.you pay for what you catch at the end.for me it was 32 dollars per kilograms. I had 6 fish total weight of 4kg and costed me about 130$

Amazing staff, so many fishes, we had the best time with kids. Caught 8 fishes in total perfect coming back again.
