Based on reading many positive reviews, my wife and I decided to rejunivate vs replace our 25 year old Natuzzi leather sofa, loveseat and armchair. Aside from doing excellent work at a fair price, Berkley is a very straightforward and honest person who you can trust to deliver what he promises. We highly recommend using his services to meet your custom requirements.

You did an excellent job reupholstering my bench in the hallway of my house. Your workmanship is top-notch. It looks better than the original bench. I am 200% satisfied.

Berkely took on my project of completely restoring an antique recamier and a MCM occasional chair. They were both very tired-looking and needed the wood stripped and refinished, the foam and feathers replaced, and new upholstery made. The results are beyond outstanding. His team's workmanship is exceptional in terms of attention to detail, artistry, and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Burkcraft's services. I truly couldn't be happier. Thank you Berkely!

Berkley is amazing in his craft. He took our shabby sofa and turned it into this magnificent leather couch. Put new feet, built the support and filling. Showing the before and after in the pictures.

I am ashamed that this man is in business. Please don't use him. He will steal from you, and will insult you when it is not his way. He is the true face of a villain. He has taken thousands from our family and never delivered. He has insulted us, downgraded us and made us feel inferior. He wants his entire money upfront before he even delivers, which is not logical nor ethical. This is not retaliation, but a wake up call to hard working families. Please do not make our mistake and deal with this devil under any shape or form. He should not be in business. He should be in jail.

Was connected with Berkley through a friend who had her couch recovered by him and raved about the job he did. I had an old couch that fit my new space after moving, however it was in pretty sad shape. I sent photos and dimensions and was provided a quote, went into the shop to pick out the new fabric and was thrilled with the final result! Berkley is a completely authentic and genuine man and the job they did on my couch is fantastic. Thank you for giving new life to my old couch, hope to work with you again in the future!

Said no one repairs glider rockers. Just throw it out. Furniture Medic does repair them. And I want to say that this isn't the age of just throwing out well made solid oak furniture.

Well let's start off with saying that nobody wanted to buy our beat down Le Corbusier Cassina Chairs that we spent over $5k on, nobody would even take it for free. Throwing away this chair was going to hurt us more than it hurt the chair because their absolutely comfortable and have such great style & structure but due to having young children the quality of the fabric got annihilated real quick. Only one cushion had removable fabric and even after 1 wash attempt it looked even worse. So I started researching stores in Toronto that do custom upholstery work and I ended up on BlogTO for the Top Up 10 Furniture Upholstery Shops. So I sent out a email blast to about 5 of the ones that seemed to have more experience with leathers and the company response that grasped me the most was Burkraft Furniture Company. On top of that their website looked clean, professional and something about it just screamed we know leather. Unfortunate for me they're located all the way in Scarborough and I live downtown, on top of that do not drive. I made an appointment with a friendly man named Berkley and when I arrived they were very warm and welcoming. As soon as he saw me with all my cushions for my chair in hand he immediately assisted me along with this lovely lady named Pam. We had a nice chat about what I'm looking to get done and you can tell he really knows a lot about high end quality furniture brands like Le Corbusier, he even had some Corbusier furniture in the shop already that he was currently working on. So to cut things short, he assisted me in choosing the right faux snake skin leather for my chairs since I didn't want to get any real snake skin. He got me a great deal on the the fabric and wasn't being sneaky and weird about it, he told me the price of what I needed while on the phone with the company that was supplying this special snakeskin leather. I'm so used to being scammed downtown because I live in Yorkville so he was just a breath of fresh air due to his transparency. Within 3 weeks my fabric was in, Pat stitched those chairs up and I was good to go! ON TOP OF THAT, there was extra fabric left and they made me kidney pillows to accent the chairs. I'm more than happy with this furniture disaster turned into miracle. So happy with the turnout. Just look at the Before & After images. I'll definitely be recommending them to all my friends and will use their services again if needed.

Berkley at Burkcraft reconditioned two very old and faded, but very valuable leather chairs. They look like new. Really great service and fabulous result at a modest cost.

Nevermind those near perfect Homestar ratings. The guy who runs this leather business is a Guyanese man named Burkley. He told me the Homestar ratings HAVE to be good reviews or they are not posted, and businesses PAID for them. I had called Burkley on the telephone in 2016 after perusing his website and reading that he did home visits to assess leather repair. When I called and spoke to him he denied that he did home visits and said it should not be on his website. However, we spoke on the phone for about 20 minutes. He is from a country whose people i'm very familiar with, and we had a connection (or so I thought). Burkley spoke very knowledgeably about the types of leather and how to assess if your couch is indeed all leather and how the paint process is done. In the end he said he would come out and assess our couch and I said I would pay him in cash for the trouble. It was a Thursday, we agreed on his visiting on Saturday. When Saturday came, at 12 noon I sent him a text, and he said he would be at my place between 2 and 5pm. I received another garbled text to say he was on his way at 4pm. At 6pm I received a very garbled text saying there had been a "death" in his family and he wouldn't be able to make it. Really? From the tone of his messages he had sounded like he was drinking. My guess is that Burkley was at a bar hanging out, drinking, and was too drunk to make it. He is Guyanese after all and expressed his love for the Demerara in our previous conversation. And I never heard from him again.
