Burlington Golf & Country Club

Had a Christmas dinner at BGCC yesterday with a group of friends. It was very professional, placement cards with your name were used and obviously somebody went into all the trouble of finding out the names of the guests and also the meal they were having (on the back of the card). The food was very good and the staff very professional, courtious and fast service. The whole group enjoyed our dinner very much and we will sure return.

Amazing facility for Golf and Curling, very friendly staff. The food is very good but the prices are a little on the high side.

On Saturday July 15,2023 i traveled from Oshawa to support a mom at wedding from 10am -11pm. When i arrived i was asked by three staff "Can i help you". I realized that this was very much a white house. The members, CEO, President and front staff was all white. The only other colored person i saw was another guest and a mix family. After staff understood i was there for Wedding Support for mom things were more relaxing. There was a situation where i was told "You be eat dinner in Boardroom". When i saw all the clutter in Boardroom, i decided i wouldn't be eating. The room was being used for storage of wedding treats and snacks, wedding party clothing and othe items. This was the first I've been put into this situation helping at any event as PSW. All other event i sat at head-table, close to wedding party or in the room of event. I've never been seated outside like an outsider or the Help.
I couldn't find any close restaurants or fast food places to get a meal, so i had some of my travel snacks. A few of the guests asked "Why are you not inside eating". I explained "There was no seating accommodations made for me inside. I was told to eat in Boardroom". When the staffing realized the situation, i was put into the restaurant to have a meal. I thank everyone that fussed over me to eat something. Thank you Moe, Jordan, Jason and i didn't get the lady name. THANK YOU. I couldn't enjoy the dessert because I'm allergic to eggs and lactose, didn't have any liquor because i was working and had to drive to Brampton to sleep overnight.
The wedding was beautiful, family are friendly, the location is breathtaking and staff are friendly. Just needs a little cultural influence for staffing members, CEO and presidents. It's place was establish in 1922 over a 100 years now and the faces in the framed photos on the wall tell a story of social exclusion. I would like to see this change ASAP.
I would recommend this place for any event or wedding even with my experience.

Beautiful venue for a recent Gala we attended. Food was excellent. Beautiful club and awesome scenery.

The restaurant and banquet facilities show very well and the food was excellent at our bridal shower!
Service was fantastic largely due to the server in charge. I don't have his name but he was a retired gentleman who is doing this part time.
On arranging the facilities the staff was very accommodating.
