Burlington Public Library - Tansley Woods branch

I was impressed by the collection at this library, and the staff's attention to detail really stood out to me. The notes they provided in each aisle were helpful and made the browsing experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this library to anyone looking for a great selection of books and a helpful staff.

Nice selection of books however not a place to study quietly. Kids are running around wildly and terrible parents not being able to care for their own child! Basically this has become more of a day care than a library at this point.

One of our favorite places to go as a family. The library is bright and welcoming and as an added bonus is built right into the community centre so there are many things to explore while visiting.

Time to cuddle with a book in your toasty home during this winter and make the best of this fresh bout of dreaded pandemic restrictions. Tansley Wood Library is the best spot to pick your plethora of choices. More importantly, the staffs are the most friendly and helpful you will ever find in any library. Service had always been impeccable and they go above and beyond to help. It is never crowded and there are ample parking.
However, if it is inconvenient for a personal visit, why not borrow digital books, audiobooks online with the Libby app on your device. There are also two other apps for streaming music and movies. Just register a membership card and discover all the library has to offer.

Very good place! There are pool, playground, trail, library and community Center. Lots of cherry blossom in spring!

Great selection. Bright and airy. Even despite COVID restrictions they have a decent selection and staff are very helpful. Parking is good and outdoor drop off is available. Plenty of writing and working space can be booked. Well worth the visit.

Friendly staff and overall nice library. It is usually very quiet making it a good place to read, work, or study. There is the occasional kid coming from the other areas of Tansley Woods (e.g. The pool) that can be loud. Other than that, it's a very nice library with a nice variety and helpful staff. If it gets loud you can also always use the community rooms which are very nice and well kept.

So many things you can do here.community rooms are awesome.everywhere is clean. Very refreshing view even when you're in the library.

Don't go here if you plan on doing anything that requires silence. Loudest library I've been to. Children yelling, adults talking at full volume, etc. Came to study and had to leave in 5 minutes.

Great place although I had a bad experience e where one front desk staff gave me a lesson to bring my library card all the time in a rude way for forgetting to bring it and asking her to check out item with my driver's license. However I found all the other staff were polite and extremely helpful. I have gone here multiple number of times and I will go there again in the future.
