Nice big store, friendly staff. Find some of their prices for things a bit steep but overall a nice place to shop for house wares, furniture, light fixtures and clothes.
10 February 2023 2:43
Prices are to high almost those thing we can by from other store.they are charging almost as a new stuff prices.although they get them free
27 December 2022 21:13
Lots of selection. Prices are closer to retail than they really should be for a charity who receives everything via donation. Hard to find a good deal in here anymore. Prices used to be good not So Much Anymore.
21 December 2022 6:22
Thank you Restore! I bought a bucket of ornament set and decorated my Christmas Tree. Absolutely STUNNING for only $20. Other ornaments I bought from mall costed so much, and not as beautiful as this set. Appreciated and I was so blessed to be able to find this set. Next year I plan to use this set for my company and I believe my colleagues will be amazed.
13 December 2022 16:53
Martha and Andrew were two beautiful people that served me today.this is typically the service you get there at this Burlington Restore Habitat location! I go there not only for the 'stuff' they have but to meet the wonderful staff members who go beyond their jobs to be pleasant and welcoming!
06 December 2022 18:26
Brought them some for donation supper clean stuff. The back staff is picky and I won’t be coming back here that’s for sure. I’ll keep bringing my business to Grimsby’s location. That’s where the best location is
30 October 2022 20:22
I need to amend the 5 star review I wrote 6 months ago bc it’s just not accurate. This place has really started to go down hill.

1. Pricing: increased to the point where it’s cheaper to buying new. If you’re looking for reasonably priced second hand furniture DO NOT shop here. I have been able to negotiate in the past, but that’s no longer the case. They are now firm on prices.
2. The staff: negative, inattentive and apathetic. Ex: I picked up an item at the back, waited 5 + minutes and had to ring the doorbell twice. The employee who helped me (Dan) was grumpy and unhelpful bc I felt like I was lifting the furniture by myself.
3. The floor layout: a giant selection of overpriced “antiques” and no more kitchens.
Not sure if there’s been a change in management or maybe needs to be but I wouldn’t recommend shopping here or referring this restore to anyone.
20 July 2022 6:47
I was enjoying shopping here, until one of the employees falsely accused me of switching a tag on merchandise. Oh well Habitat you shouldn't employ liars and disturbed people now you have lost thousand of dollars of sales from me purchasing and also my friends whom i will inform. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars here and no longer will.
12 July 2022 16:20
There are many attractive things. Prices are also reasonable. We liked it. We can recommend it to others. Will visit again.
03 June 2022 15:13
One of the bigger ones out there.seems more hodge podge then anything else.start donating people supplies are low
18 May 2022 15:34
When you go in with zero expectations, you will never be disappointed.
I am always inspired after my trips bc I never know what to expect or what treasures I’m going to leave with, or find nothing at all. That is the beauty of the restore.
Staff are friendly and honest. Yes, some items may be over priced but if that’s the case all you have to do is ask why. 9/10 times you’ll get an answer.
As someone who has worked in retail, the amount of heckling customers and those with fraudulent intentions walk through the door, I commend the employees for their patience and resilience.
Knowing I’m giving back to my community and sustainability loving makes the price tag worth it.

I really enjoy this store.

Always clean and organized and I find the prices fair and reasonable.

Have been going to this location a long time and have recommended it many times to others.

Staff is always friendly and helpful, too!
27 April 2022 1:37
Such a lovely place to shop! Very friendly and helpful staff - they always go above and beyond to make your experience amazing. Broad selection of products and can't wait to shop again!
13 April 2022 13:06
I cant say enough good about this store! Sarah, Alex, Celine, Andrew what a great group of people! All through the craziness of the past 2yrs these dedicated folks have been there, always happy to see you with a warm greeting, even though Im sure their day is filled with difficult people! This store is a credit to what Habitat is trying to accomplish! Well done gang! I recommend everyone stop by and take a minute to say hello to the many wonderful volunteer staff who make this store such a success! Thank you all so much!
12 April 2022 17:09
I am very supportive of the Burlington ReStore, I like that there is a place to purchase gently used items at a fraction of the retail cost and most importantly a place to promote recycling of furniture and items that would have gone directly to the landfill/dump. I have purchased lamps, dressers, small side tables, dishes, pet bed, and books.
I also want to mention the helpful staff and volunteers. Always ready to answer a question and ready to help me load purchases into my car.
My expectations of this not-for-profit, give back to the community, kind of store is not the same as if I went to Lowe's, where the staff are trained and paid to know the answers to your questions within their department.
I have not had a negative experience at the Burlington ReStore, my expectations are reasonable and I am grateful for having such a good idea place in my community. Keep up the good work, see you again soon.
02 April 2022 20:03
First time there. Some good deals, some junk. Good place to go if on a budget. Would recommend because shopping there helps others.
28 March 2022 7:29
Good selection and a huge variety of furniture, parts, paint, light fixtures, flooring, even clothing and supplies. Worth visiting and checking back regularly. Loading of furniture was quick and easy and staff were super polite and helpful. Parking is limited at times but well worth it.
01 March 2022 10:52
It's all for a good cause. Sometimes prices are a bit out of touch with what items cost new bit overall great staff and always something new.
14 February 2022 9:18
Store expanded greatly but not well managed. Prices were reasonable for most items but a significant number of items were priced at a ridiculous amount, some even more expensive than new products at regular stores. The irony is a lot of unsold items were sent to landfill because there were no takers. This is sad, wasteful and certainly defeats the purpose of recycling, saving the environment and helping the Habitat concept.
11 February 2022 22:19
They always have good stuff. I just feel like the prices lately have gone up; to be a donation place dropped off, some things are a bit pricey.
I will always support it. I go often anyway because I think what they do is awesome!
01 February 2022 6:05
Some things are a great price, others are decent. All together a great place for used/donated household items and furniture.
03 January 2022 7:10
I went there to check for a piece of furniture, the one i was looking wasn't there. It's a good place to get used items at a reasonable price. Good place for low income sector to get their needs.
04 December 2021 7:25
From all the Restores, this in Burlington looks the worst and more expensive.some Yung girls are arrogant and silly.
It need improvement!
22 November 2021 11:46
As always, they have quite the selection of wares for sale. The prices on some things however, have gotten a lot higher than they used to be. Don't turn into another value village guys.
13 November 2021 8:18
It's a hard place to rate because it's just a giant warehouse of all kinds. Great place to find that random gem of a thing you weren't looking for. Also Sarah (the smart cookie) was a delight and just a super nice person to deal with.
02 October 2021 22:22
Good selection of books, occasionally a good piece of furniture. However, store needs to improve entrance and layout, quite messy and disorderly.
06 September 2021 7:54
This is probably one of the biggest and best re-stores I've been to they always have a really good selection of things to use if you're renovating or have some small project on the go. Have a good selection of paint, tiles, flooring, carpet. They also got a pretty big selection of kitchen cabinetry and bathroom fixtures and sinks.
Every once in awhile you might get lucky with some overstocked items or something that's been donated I've gotten some great deals on everything from hand sanitizer to soaps to even pet food sometimes
07 August 2021 11:14
Great place to donate your stuff and even get a tax receipt.

Great place to buy stuff for your cottage any reno.
13 July 2021 9:56
The staff is exceptional here. A big shout out to Sarah and her amazing crew. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They always have what I’m looking for. Amazing deals. Always a positive experience and stocked full of great scores. This place is a complete gem.
11 July 2021 12:04
I can't say enough about this amazing team. From start to finish they helped me with my kitchen purchase and movement. They helped move my items carefully and loaded them without being asked - including a massive fridge that took 6 people. They went above and beyond, lending me a loading tool so I wouldn't struggle when I reached my destination. Excellent customer service experience, prompt response times and incredible flexibility. I couldn't be happier to have met this team and I will be back (with the dogs) for future renovations. Thank you for all of your kindness
12 June 2021 5:39
I did a donation drop off at the same time as a curbside pickup up here the other day and the staff were absolutely fantastic very positive attitudes.
04 June 2021 6:18
Fantastic Staff, I went to do a curbside pickup after finding what I needed on FB marketplace and they were very helpful with a great selection. I didn't realize they had so much available. Will definitely be back!
20 May 2021 7:34
This ReStore is the best ReStore to shop at! The constant variety of building supplies, furniture, appliances and so much more, keeps us coming back for.more!
04 May 2021 1:04
I wish I could give a better review with regards to using their pickup service but I would not recommend trying to donate your items using this service. I tried twice, the first time they did not show up and I had to call. Once they actually came they then denied one of my furniture pieces claiming it was broken when the people picking it up just put the drawers in backwards (obviously they would look broken). I called again and they finally picked it up. I tried using them one more time and this second time they didn’t show up, I also emailed letting them know and received no response.

Not sure why they would offer such a service if they can’t follow through or even respond. Poor customer service in my opinion.
15 April 2021 14:09
This Restore is huge, and in addition to furniture and building supplies, also carries toys and clothes like a thrift store.
03 April 2021 21:50
Great things prices excellent needs to be more appealing and brightened up when first enter front doors
very dark cluttered not organized just clean it up!
26 March 2021 2:42
A shout out to outstanding service provided by the store manager, Sarah. She went over and above by providing assistance in finding a product that another branch was suppose to sell me but did not hold for me. She reached out proactively to correct the situation. That is great customer service. And they have great products at outstanding value. No tax too!
07 March 2021 2:30
Staff were very helpful when I pulled up. I was not expecting help, I assumed this was just a drop-off point. Thank you for the great work you do.
11 February 2021 9:31
Really helpful people but they won't take anything unless is like almost new. Don't bother bringing anything with visible wear.
11 February 2021 1:45
Andrew at the front desk is a lovely, sincere, knowledgeable and kind young man and is such a pleasure to deal with (CEO sensibilities and a bright future ahead).
Well-run and fully stocked location with a variety of predominantly new gift and decor items, endless paint options and furniture, doors, beds, windows and appliances! Some truly great donations come through this place and now they have a clothing section to boot!
01 February 2021 8:56
I cant begin to explain how amazing the staff in this store is. They are, helpful, friendly, and kind beyond belief!
While setting up donations for a centre I got in touch with the manager Sarah and she was quite possibly the nicest retail manager I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
10/10 must shop here.
They have beautiful stock and everything is so well organized. Especially the clothing section!
06 December 2020 14:01
Staff are always friendly and professional. Great to upcycle and not toss into a landfill. There can be good finds depending on what you're looking for. I know someone who got a whole kitchen - all cabinetry - for a spectacular deal.
27 November 2020 3:03
It was one of the best stores, I don’t know what happened in their pricing management system that their price sometimes is more than new material stores
21 October 2020 11:56
I always find things that I need AND things I didn't know that I needed! Glad that $$ goes towards such a worthy cause!
18 October 2020 8:17
Ok, I am addicted to RE store, there is so many cool things in there. My latest finds are storage baskets (top shape) brand new carpet and a huge spider decoration for Halloween!
11 October 2020 15:22
This is a great idea. Have people donate gently used items and sell them at a reasonable price to help those in need of housing.
I have donated and purchased from here for many years. Always worth a look see. It's like a rummage sale for a good cause. And no tax charged!
09 October 2020 10:32
I am very disappointed with the Burlington ReStore. They have clearly strayed away from their original mandate of focusing on building materials, furniture, etc. Instead it now looks like a tacky thrift store, but with much higher prices. (The furniture pricing is particularly out of wack.) Clothing seems to have replaced the kitchen cupboards that used to be plentiful. Who goes to a ReStore to buy clothes? Seems a bit unfair they are wading into this market, which many other thrift stores rely on for revenue, rather than sticking to their niche. Sadly I doubt I will return.
08 October 2020 7:23
For the first time, I went to the restore in Burlington yesterday. I purchased several large furniture items, one of which was a tall, solid wood book shelf. I was able to fit everything into my vehicle with the exception of the book shelf. I had pointed out each item I had purchased to the two gentleman who helped me load the items. As I left, I said "I will return to get the book shelf. " I knew there was a 2 day period in which to pick up purchased items because I heard one of the employees say so to another customer. "no problem", he said, "just hang onto your receipt and show it when you come back for the shelf. " Okay, no problem. Great experience so far. That was yesterday, August 14th.
This afternoon, August 15th, I returned to the loading area, rang the bell, spoke to a different young man, showed my receipt and said, I need to just pick up a book shelf I purchased yesterday. He said, can you please point out which one? I saw it straight away and I said, it's this one. This is when the problem began. Apparently, after I purchased the book shelf yesterday, it was resold TODAY to someone else. They retrieve their manager (I'm assuming), a younger lady with blonde hair (likely the same person as a previous customer described in a review below - sounds exactly like the tone of the person who spoke with me today). She was immediately defensive explaining to me that my receipt didn't match the receipt on the shelf. I was completely confused. I explained exactly my steps of the previous day. She's telling me it's my neglect for not placing a Sold sign and sticking it along with my receipt to the bookshelf before I left yesterday. Why would that be my job? I don't work there. "Haven't you ever been to the restore and know that's what you're supposed to do", she says flatly. "Umm.actually, No, I've not been to the restore before and No, I did not have two receipts (one to keep and one to place on an item) and I also was not equipped with a Sold sign to stick on it!
"Well, there's nothing I can do, the shelf is sold and you cannot prove to me that you purchased it yesterday. " Well, I have a receipt with August 14th as the date and the item for $30 is on the receipt. I spoke to several individuals yesterday who would have recognized me AND in fact, I had spoken to this very blonde woman a couple of times while at the store yesterday! "I'll give you a store credit of $30", she says matter of factly. There was not one sentiment of apology from her tone, her body language, or her choice of words.
I'm a very tolerant person and I completely understand human error. However, inconsideration and indifference toward another when it was so clearly a ball drop of the store, is what raised my ire the most and the reason I'm taking the time to write this review (as long winded, as it is). She trundles off to get my store credit. She returns with it and throws out a completely tone deaf, "We're sorry for the inconvenience". It did not deserve another word spoken from me. I took the "credit" with the 30 DAY DATE OF EXPIRY, no less. Why not add insult to injury! My First and my Last visit, Restore Burlington.
08 October 2020 3:19
Overpriced for items that are given to them, much of the items are just a few dollars less than brand new prices.
Price gouging at it's best
07 October 2020 10:57
Genuinely the most spectacular ReStore location I've ever been to.
Clean, well organized and spacious, an incredible selection of couches, lighting fixtures, perfectly usable paint that had been donated for whatever reason, beautiful dining tables and chairs, a clothing 'department' of sorts with second hand clothing as well as brand-new-with-the-tags-on donations.
16 September 2020 22:06
Great staff, great furniture for awesome prices. Have everything you need including knick knacks, gifts, hardware, lights, furniture, clothing, paints and more!
29 August 2020 15:07
I am so impressed with the store staff. They are great people and so helpful. Andy went out of his way to help us secure the cabinet in our car. The drive back to Stoney Creek was a breeze. Than you all.
22 August 2020 5:34
An overpriced rummage sale.
I'm guessing that the CEO draws down heavily.
It's a long way from what once was.
20 August 2020 15:53
I love the items they have here. Overall it's a great store but today, July 20 in this location and a blonde worker in her mid 30s, wearing a green shirt and her hair in a ponytail was complaining loudly to the man sitting at the door offering hand sanitizer that customers aren't parking properly not (caring that I am standing right there hearing this.) Then I witnessed her on her break and walking up to an elderly woman asking her to fix her mask! It was so unnecessary of her!
16 August 2020 4:16
Sarah the store manager was very friendly, curtious, very helpful, and I will return to the restore because of her!
14 August 2020 9:13
Get selected of a bunch of stuff! Never know what you are going to find. Great clothes and gift selection
07 February 2020 19:32
The staff and volunteers are amazing at this location. In the last while they have made some big changes with how they put stuff out. I love the way it looks, Everything is so easy to find and displayed nicely. I'm actually going there more often now
