Friendly staff and delicious food! Josie and Mahir helped us out today and they made our visit extra special. Will be back again soon!

Today was my first time visiting, and it will not be my last. The service from the staff was truly like a breath of fresh air. They were quick, hospitable and it felt as if I was interacting with an old friend. I had ordered a small Thanksgiving poutine and wow! I can’t even think of the appropriate wording to describe how delicious it was. Even the portion size was great. Much bigger and filling than any and all other poutines I’ve had throughout the years elsewhere. I’m disappointed that it took me so long to go here. Buskers is now going to be a regular spot for myself and my family! Thanks for the great meal:)

The Thanksgiving poutine is incredible especially with the cranberry sauce. The portion is also huge as it took 4 people to eat the small.

Tried the Thanksgiving Poutine. Loved it though found it very salty. Could only eat half of it.
The young girl working was awesome. She had me try the pumpkin ice cream and her favorite Apple Pie ice cream. I bought a scoop of each they were that good.

Stumbled upon this exquisite sub shop by chance on a road trip and boy was I impressed! Excellent menu choices, my wife and I got the tuna. They were made with super fresh ingredients and had an excellent variety of toppings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to satisfy our hunger and hospitality needs.

Would highly recommend Buskers for a yummy sub. They have a huge selection of ice cream too but I was in a rush so didn’t get any, might stop by tomorrow!

I definitely will be back we had a little dinner. They gave me a whole bunch of French fries and extra chicken tenders for the wait. Had dessert afterwards, got a small but it felt like a large boy. They really know how to make sure you can't eat all your ice cream bit we did. LOL love this place.

My go too for subs and poutine. Will drive all the way to the west end just for the food. Been going here since I was a kid. The new owners took over but they are great.
Updated: the price increases have just got out of hand here. 15.24 for a 12 inch assorted sub. That's just insane I'm sorry. I have been going here since I was a kid but I just can't pay 15 plus for a sub. Little mom and pop places should never be more than franchises.

The best ice cream in Windsor as far as I'm concerned. Fair pricing and large portions make this place a definite return trip.

Very disappointed by the milkshake (peanut chocolate flavor). There was way too much milk in the shake, and it simply tasted like milk with peanut butter and sugar. It did not had any shake texture at all. The chocolate pieces of the ice cream were not properly crushed or mixed in. They were too large for the straw and simply accumulated at the bottom of the cup, leading to no chocolate flavor or pieces at all. The pricing of the XL shake is, let's call it, confusing. The website says $8.99, and so does the name on the printed receipt. The board in the store shows $10.49, and the receipt (despite the product name saying $8.99), shows $10.99 (plus tax).

Today I was once again inspired to make a post about this awesome place! Josie was super friendly and made me feel right at home! Kayla made my brownie sundae and it was absolutely delicious.
Can't wait to come back for more!

Love this place sooooo much They have amazing mushroom caps and fried pickles and their subs and salad is to die for

We (the whole family) have frequented this establishment for many, many years. Never had a single complaint.not ONE! Now that they are under new ownership, the quality and service just aren't the same. My husband refuses to give them another try after having two gyros (separate visits) that couldn't even be eaten. Dried leather he called the meat. I also have had three bad experiences. The first two, they messed my order up. I always order the same thing.a cheese sub. Not sure how you mess up a cheese sub but they have. THREE times now. The first time, I let it slide and assumed it had something to do with the new owners 'finding their feet'. The second time I asked that the owner call me. He did and we had a great conversation. He was very appreciative of my feedback and vowed to make future experiences better. Tonight I ordered a cheese sub online. I was able to pick it up in 15 mins. That was great! It was ready on time, too. I drove home and anticipated this sub. Unfortunately, it was wrong AGAIN. It had ham on it. I don't eat meat. I contemplated taking the ham off and just eating the sub but the principle of them getting an order wrong when it's printed right there in front of them astonished me. I went back and was greeted at the window. I attempted to put the sub down in front of the employee but there's a gap between the window and the cash register and it fell in the gap. Immediately the employee accused me of throwing the sub at her! Wow. I wasn't even angry, just very disappointed. At that point I tried telling her that I didn't intend or mean to throw it and I was sorry. She was very short with me. She didn't give the choice for my sub to be re-made but only offered to refund my money. At this point, I asked her to ask that the owner call me. She said "who is that" and I said it was Mark or Mike (used to be Mike). She said "I'll make sure he knows you threw the sub at me, too" and then she slammed the serving window shut! At which point I decided that arguing with a already angry employee was not going to get me anywhere so I left. I am awaiting a phone call from the current owner and will update this review with the outcome of that conversation. I am so disappointed. This local business is just not worth the aggravation to me. I really advocate for small businesses and go out of my way to support buying locally. Not this one anymore.

UPDATE: The owner and I had another good conversation. He is very easy to talk to (level headed). I have a better understanding of the struggles small business owners have in attracting and maintaining good employees after these long few years (fill in the blanks) That said - it does not excuse the behavior of the server. He was understanding of my position and also his employee's.

Buskers subs are super fresh. Ten times better than Firehouse subs. Not to mention alot cheaper price as well.

Terrible customer service, the young lady working today was very impatient and impolite. Slammed the door in the face of multiple customers. Would not recommend

Servings are great, have been going here for years. Ever since Covid happened the staff has been horrible, they have little to no expression and shut the door right in your face without giving you napkins or even wishing you a good day. No respect for anybody that works here, they’ve shut the window in my face twice now without even giving me napkins for ICE CREAM. When asking for napkins, she gave them to me and slammed the door. Extremely unsatisfying, ice cream is always great though as well as food so can’t complain there.

Portion sizes are enormous. I've been getting the Chicken Ceaser Pita for years. Excellent, fresh ingredients.

Our go-to place for ice cream when we’re out in the west end. Can’t leave this place without a side of onion rings. Great selection and friendly staff.

Unfortunately since the change in ownership it's been exceedingly difficult to attend. Service is incredibly slow.

Great ice cream but cones seem to always be stale. This place was the best but huge downhill side, must be under new ownership, hence gone downhill!

I love their poutine! I would recommend getting their large portion as they are super sized and had a lot more cheese than before. The quality of food is great. I also love their frozen yogurt. Great place to go with kids and adults to enjoy frozen treats.

Frozen yogurt tasted like rusty metal spoons! I saw them cleaning the machine with a rag then making my frozen yogurt. Not happy.

Small little family owned sub and ice cream shop. Thickest meat I’ve ever had on a sub. The assorted sub left me wanting another right after, was so delicious. We ordered a small and large, but both were so similar in size. Toppings were nice and fresh and prices were good. French fries were chip truck quality, so so good, crispy on the outside with a fluffy middle, perfect cut size. Ill be coming back for sure to try more. Only complaint is they didn’t have green olives or pickles, but that’s just my preference and one of my families favourite toppings. Other wise still good.

I've been going since the 80's. Danielle is the best, love her smile and friendly nature. They still make the best subs around

Great subs, they aren't afraid to put some meat on them! Good selection of ice cream flavours served generously.

Ordered 2 subs at 6: 41 showed up and paid and was forgotten about. They said 5-10 minutes when I called. It was 7: 10 when I got food. So much for a dinner hour

Good ice cream and the price is good compared to other places! The store itself is small, but they do a good job in managing every client!

But the Spoons were very flimsy.
It's obvious that the owners would have no way of knowing. Hopefully they can get them replaced with a stronger product.

I could not really 'dig in' to the brownie sunday because the spoon would bend.

Got the single ice cream (2 scoops) and it was HUGE! So much ice cream lol Lots of different flavours to choose from, as well as various other sundaes or treats (and regular food, but we just went for dessert). Right now you order at a take out window then stand along the side of the building and wait. Everyone kept their masks on and kept their distance. There's a big tent attached to the building in case the weather is bad.

Excellent service and excellent food! HIGHLY recommended. Great value, huge portions. The best soft-serve in Windsor.

We haven't been to Buskers since the owners changed and are so disappointed we waited this long. The Buskaroo submarine was absolutely perfect! There was a great balance of toppings with a very generous and prime cut meats, sauces and vegetables, bun was fresh, nothing was soggy. Ordered milk shakes which are made with hard icecream. Milkshakes were thick enough to drink and not melt quickly. They have a large menu of food and desserts. Worth stopping here for whatever craving you may have. Plenty of parking, staff were friendly and courteous, food was quick.

Inedible. Gross. Ceasar salad with croutons with a chunk of dry tasteless chicken. No bacon and a gross amount of soggy salad.

Been going here 4 tons of years kinda disappointed 2day 4 the reason of I understand stuff has went up cause of covid or whatever but when I just ask 2 add chocolate syrup in my milkshakes and get charged a couple bucks xtra 4 a little syrup in my shake now? Unbelievable so that with b the last milkshake I ever get from there.over 8 bucks for a small milkshakeftom buskers? Ilke seriously? My business is pretty much gone milkshake is what brought me there in the first place then I would order food as well.way 2 expensive unreal

Slowest service in the entire city. Always takes at least 10 minutes to get anything. Even just basic icecream turns into a three day excursion. Their subs aren't even that good

The ice cream was good, there was too much in the cup, so by the time I walked back to the car it had dripped all over me. They have lots of ice cream and food to choose from. A good family outting.

I love Buskers. Been going since I was a kid- it is still the best. Such an establishment on the West end. I find it even better with the new owners. The freshest subs, salads that are awesome, and the best bang for your buck with ice cream. The milkshakes are my ultimate favourite.

Oh. Man. One of the best little sandwich shops in YQG. Fair prices, delicious food made fresh to order, and staff who legitimately care about their product.

Excellent place to go Buskers is a 30 + year business that has made its name by being excellent. They also Supply Gyros and french fries and onion rings. They have a broad selection of ice cream as well. Buckers now has a tent over their seating area outside. They offer eight large selection of Subs and other menu items that compliment they're fresh amazing food. They're quick and the staff is courteous and pleasant. Clean atmosphere clean area, are usually a result of good management and an excellent boss. Being organized as a key in any business, and Buskers has organized their key to success. We highly recommend Buskers when you're in the West End.

Just before I moved into the east end of the city, I ordered from here quite frequently and enjoyed their food, but a situation sticks out from me the most. I was very unhappy with what I ordered this one time & i reached out to the owners & they compensated me with a new & better meal equal value. I was pretty happy that this business went above & beyond expectations when all other restaraunt owners just ignore you and keep doing business.

Drive up food doesn't get much better than Busker's. The recent change in ownership has improved an already good Windsor staple. I find the customer service very conscientious every time I visit, and the food is just a classic Canadian medley of fast but wholesome goodness. Great selection of icecream and various icecream-oriented menu items with huge portions.

New ownership has continued the tradition successfully. Some could even argue that Buskers has actually improved with new ownership. There have been lots of great improvements - notably, the covered seating and the accessibility ramp. The food is still great and I'm liking a lot of their new menu items.

Best subs in the city, try the deep fried mushrooms also you won't be disappointed. If your hungry get the Buskeroo Special, it's a jaw breaker!

The food is AMAZING and the stuff so friendly and nice nice nice.the prices are decent and its very tight quarters once your inside. The soze of the building means only outdoor seating unfortunately but who cares its grrrreat.

The ice cream was SUPER RAD! I had the espresso and the moose tracks each was better than the other. The mom and daughter that work there were both super cute.

The subs are great. The ice cream is huge. A single size is actually 2 scoops and you can choose 2 different flavors! A favorite of mine to go with friends.

Great selection of icecream. Good food too. Icecream is on the pricier side, but despite the price it's my favorite place to take the kids.

I find their prices a but high. 5.00 for a baby scoop of icecream but they do give large portions and they are a west end staple so I support the business. The frozen yogurt is the best I've had

It's Saturday night at 9: 03 buskers is closed for some reason I've been coming here for years and it's always been open! Customers attempting to try to get in, thinking the same thing as myself. Lost business.

Best ever old fashioned ice cream stop! Lots of sandwich options available, but ice cream is their strength. Portions are beyond generous! Try to finish something bigger than a single- I dare you. So reasonably priced. We've gone back year after year.

One of Windsor 's best sub shops huge selection of fresh subs! Lots of on site parking. Ice cream bar available with many of spins, shakes, floats and Sundays. Salads and more. Unique local and reasonable

Submarines, Pitas, wraps, and more. Great prices, also a simplified icecream menu make's your choice not so overwhelming! Great place, open all through the holidays this year.
