I have been going to this clinic for over a decade. With three cats with very different and sometimes complex health issues, they have been lifesavers. Worth driving to Byron for. Compassionate and fully invested in helping you navigate choices and treatments and dietary needs.
I took my pets here for many years, even after moving out of town. The team is exceptional, was always attentive to my needs and questions, and professional at all times. The techs and vets are very warm hearted which always helped to put me at ease when worrying about my fur family. Highly recommend this clinic!
My Family took my childhood cat to this clinic and I continued when I got my dog. Even when I moved across the city I would go the extra distance for the service and competent, friendly staff. At Christmas I had to say goodbye to my 12 year old dog Cody. Dr. Will tried everything, but in the end, knew we couldn't take away his pain. I haven't been able to make myself go back there yet, but I wish I could to say thank you. When I am ready for another dog, I will take my future pets here.
Update: a few years after my original post I went back to Byron with my foster fail, Bubbs and a few months later my second dog Frankie. I've moved even further away and am fighting the need to change vets.
The staff at BAC are all wonderful. They are knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and truly care about our dog’s health. Thank you for all you do for us BAC!
Very helpful that look it up information and getting back to us on time and really do appreciate their work. The only problem that I see is the appointments are a week later if I were to do it and higher-priced than the one that I normally go to.
Humiliated by vet tech when I asked for answers re my cat's death. Did not return calls until I asked for his blood test results. And then tongue lashed and shamed for wanting a few questions answered re his death the last day of his life. Would never take another animal to this clinic therefore. Terrible heartless attitude on Kellys part. If she wasn't there would consider returning.
We have been apart of Byron Animal Clinic for many, many years and always receive amazing care. As I was growing up, we brought our family animals here and now that I have pets of my own it was of no question to bring them to BAC. Dr Will and the staff always go above and beyond to provide professional care and always take the time to answer all my questions. They have occasionally had to squeeze us in for a last minute appointment and even follow up with us after to see how our lil guy is doing. I cannot thank Byron Animal Clinic enough for caring for Ozzy and Sharon like their own pets and being a place we can trust with our animals. Highly recommend!
Super dissatisfied, we booked an appointment this afternoon to have our pet have an emergency stitch for a large wound. Staff called us and cancelled our appointment so they overbooked and sent us to a emerg where we are charged 1000. We are switching vets, disappointed that we were canceled because of their error and no attempt to resolve the issue.
I took both my dogs there about 8 years ago. I live in Byron now and would never go back here. They took one of my dogs behind a door where I couldn't see either, heard my dog yelping (she's never bit or snapped at anyone) then they come back saying she's aggressive. This was recorded so any vet I went to afterwards was afraid to see my Sasha. We lost her last weekend and I still to the day she died never saw her snap at anyone. Byron vets couldn't find the problem back then and lied about my dog. I'll never go back and never want anyone or their animals to go through this. They have mobile vets now that are much much better. Take care of yourself and your pets people. Bye for now.
