Came to enjoy szechuan lo mein. 100 points to the delightful charming girl who knowing that I am coming for the first time helped me with recommendations to my liking. Amazing. Very kind.

Delicious chinese food I love the Cantonese chow mein it's my favorite very friendly staff you definitely can't go wrong by coming here!

Dreadful food. Used to be really good a few years ago. Lemon chicken was a joke. Burnt pieces of dough with hardly any chicken. One.bite was enough. Ck rice and thai curry watery and mainly chucks of green peppers. Now having grilled cheese sandwich. Don't waste your money.

Food was wonderful, tasted great specially the hot spicy chicken. Welcoming environment and lovely owner!

Worst order of general Tao I’ve ever had, if that wasn’t enough I was getting attitude by a kid over the phone when placing my order and asking how long it will take, when my wife went to pick it up they thought they gave the order to someone else and couldn’t find it, I Will not be returning here.

I like CK and it has been our go to for 10+ years. Always good food, and customer service both pick up and delivery. I also like that they added an online ordering service, which I have used twice now. The payment process when doing online ordering is horrible though, please address this!
When I submitted my order it asks for payment method and details and gives you the impression you've paid. I received no confirmation telling me other wise. Delivery arrives and says they have to charge me. It took several attempts for the driver to match the bill and approximately 10 minutes for me to complete paying for it all while standing outside freezing while this got sorted out. Driver was friendly and apologetic, mentioning that this happens regularly.
Come on CK if your going to charge for "in house" not "skip" etc.delivery (not including tip) and offer online ordering give the customers and delivery staff the tools to succeed.

I first tried the food from Marchee Wok back in 2020 and the food was so spot on that I have been going back ever since at-least once a week. I was gobsmacked when I saw the menu they have such a big variety. Their food is freshly cooked, very tasty and well presented. The owners/employees were really friendly, attentive and service overall was excellent. I seen them freshly preparing my food as the kitchen is visible rather than already have it half cooked like most of these other takeaways.

It was good, ordered Cantonese chow mein, chicken chop soey, chicken balls and spring rolls. Not enough noodles in Cantonese chow mein, chicken was very dry and the sweet sour sauce extremely watered down zero flavor. But food itself tasted fresh

This place has gone way down hill. Use to be best in Barrie. They have children taking orders, not enough cooks to cover the crazy amount of orders. So unorganized, my order sat at the front desk long enough to be cold. Not warm but cold. Really disappointed.

Extremely disappointed. Waited over 3 hours for food. I called after 1.5 hours of waiting, to see how long our food would be and was told 5 minutes the driver was almost there. And spent another 1.5 hours waiting and the restaurant is now closed for the evening. Can’t comment on the quality of the food as it never showed up.

Just picked up our order. Was not what we ordered at all. Someone else has our great meal. Very disappointed and food what there was of it was very oily. Didn't even know what one item was, very burnt ant tough. Trying to help local restaurants.but?

Ordered dinner for 2, rice and chow mein were good, pork was disgusting, couldn't eat most of it because the pork had tendon things in them so you had to spit it out.

Chicken balls were good, would return but woukd avoid the pork.

Overcrowded in waiting room, despite pandemic rules, I canceled my order after waiting and will not return, lots of customers were upset waiting for long time, very disorganized.

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this delicious restaurant.happy to tell that we passed a brilliant evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for this happy evening. The waiters helped in a pleasant style, the cuisine was yummy and my guests were very cheerful. We shall surely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Disappointed that we ordered dinner and it didn't show up. My mom had planned Christmas eve dinner for a while and was looking forward to Chinese food. 3 hours later and their phone is off the hook.
Still no food.

Tasty Canadiana Chinese fare, ordered for pickup and they had $100 of food ready in 30 minutes. This place gets a lot of business, so if you think they will be busy, order ahead. If you complain about delivery taking too long, just don't be lazy and go pick it up yourself. You'll save time and your food will be warmer.

Best chinese food in Barrie! Family owned, Small eat in area, great take out. Chicken never greasy, quality meats and vegetables. Our family go-to whenever we dont want to cook!

Ordered dinner for 4. After unpacking the order, noticed the ribs were missing and the chicken balls looked really weird. Very small, odd shaped and crumbly. Tried to bite into them, and it was not chicken meat. We couldn't identify what it was but nothing close to a plump, chicken ball. Never again!

Will never order here again. The rice was cold, the chop suey was slimey and tasted off. Won tons were good. Our order was missing the chicken, so we had no protein. All We were offered was a refund of the cost of the chicken. Big deal! We wanted our chicken! No soya sauce, no dry noodles with the chop suey, no fortune cookies. Very disappointed.

Horrible customer service. I had ordered through Door dash for pickup. I had waited outside in the rain for an hour and a half to finally be told by a very rude lady inside that "we do not take Door dash orders" and I got waved away. If they were not on door dash, how was I able to place my order, get charged on my credit card and wait for an hour and a half to be dismissed without any food? Excuses. I am very disappointed. I will NOT be returning just because of the very poor customer service. I am NOT pleased. Do not go here unless you want to be treated like trash. I placed my order at 5: 53pm and it is currently 8: 25pm and I have YET to receive my food. Goes to show how terrible this place is.

Absolutely disappointed with the service last night. I have been a customer for 10+ years.
It was Mothers Day. And i get it, I've worked in restaurants all of my adult life, so I know how crazy it can be. BUT you did not stagger any orders. You took probably 50 orders to be ready for 5pm.
I called ahead at 1pm to order the food. We showed up at 4: 50 to pick up. Stood in line outside in the freezing cold for an hour and a half! Just to finally make our way to the door - to be told "oh we didn't have time to make your order yet" So waited another 30 minutes for it to be ready. First off, no discount was offered (in my opinion it should have been FREE). When talking to the employees, they were rude & just kept laughing at everyone. There was absolutely NOTHING funny about how this restaurant was ran last night. Once we get home - food was cold, watery and under cooked.
Not to mention - you accept cash without charging tax and refused to give us a receipt. You were not following ANY regulations for COVID 19, you had 20 people in your store front at a time, shoulder to shoulder.
And the worst part - you had seniors outside in the cold for hours? !? No one expected that wait so not many people were dressed accordingly.
This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant. EVER.
I will never return. $100+ worth of food, not cooked properly & after a 2 hour wait. And not even a sorry.
Super disgusted.

Terrible service. Waited 2 hours for delivery and when it finally got here it was barely warm. Should have known from the minute I called and an 8 year old answered. I had picked up food from them before and never had an issue. Unfortunately I will not be back. Not impressed at all. There are plenty others to choose from.

Took over 2.5 hours to get our food. Basically no communication when I got there to pick it up. Just lots of yelling in the back. Writing this while I continue to sit here (2 hours now). Won't come back, no matter how good the food is. If I ever get it.

Called back 2 hrs after ordering delivery and was told our food wouldn't be ready for another hour.place is a joke. 0 Stars

Don't order from them charge $6.00 for delivery when most if not all offer free delivery. They are trying to make a buck off us all.
