CAA Store - London

Got stuck in London on cheapside and called CAA for help. I was on a busy street during rush hour with no power. I couldn’t put my 4 ways on, I had no heat. I mentioned this and was told if I fear for my life to call 911. Traffic was backed up, people were screaming at me to move my truck but I couldn’t. I have a 4x4 truck with a lift and also told this to dispatch and they sent a regular tow truck instead of a flat bed. I was already stressed about the situation and CAA made it worse. Worst of all the tow truck driver came from sarnia Ont. I had to wait 4 hours for a tow on a busy street. With no power, I should have asked one of the 3 other tow truck operators that stopped to ask if I need help instead of thinking I could rely on this service. Utterly disappointed to say the least. The tow truck driver was absolutely amazing, very friendly and tried his best, dispatch on the other hand is garbage. Seriously rethinking my membership and upcoming renewal.

Mary Taylor is awesome to deal with. Very customer focused, a wealth of knowledge and was so helpful in booking our trip to Europe. I won’t travel overseas without her help.

The employees were goofing off more than anything. Not professional, up-sold an old senior couple on everything they offered. Would advise to stay away. Unfortunately, they're the ones handling Canada's internal driving permits.

Prompt and professional service. Provided what I needed — an international drivers license!

I've been with CAA for about 6 yrs.
I've towed for them and have referred them for 30 yrs.
12 days ago I took the insurance off my car because I bought a truck. Today I called to put insurance on my car because I'm having truck problems.
They want 3 pics to reinsure it.
Because I speak loudly, I was told I'm yelling and got no help. I'd hate to have to make a claim if this is their standard help.

My truck would not start. I called CAA and within an hour they flatbed it and tooky dually to the garage with prompt and satisfying service.

Not even worth the star! Not knowledgeable in any car issues even simple call to replace battery process is not accurate.made a call to have battery replacement and installed and said.they can't cause it test for no power lol and without power to test they won't replace just mind blowing totally not recommend

Awfull customer servive they will fimd any reason not to pick up a car the drivers know they will be paid either way.litteraly refused to tow me beacuse of expired tag but still marked down as if it was towed.

I was planning a short trip and needed travel insurance. I tried calling twice, and had to leave my name and number. I did get a call back within a couple of hours. The lady i spoke to was very helpful & knowledgeable. The price was affordable as well.

Not the store; the roadside customer service aspect, reliability & business representation.

Absolutely horrifying; annual membership holder. You never need them or their services until its crucial. The one Time I've actually been in such a situation, was SADLY disappointed with being told I wasn't going to receive the "quick jump start" for my battery in my personal work vehicle from which I own. Cancelation on membership.

Super happy you have reopened but too bad when I call for member services (option 2) it rings and disconnects every single time.

I had the most outstanding service for road side assistance from John Webb who responded with the need for a tow for my car! While prepared to tow my car, John indicated he is able to get 99% of cars running without the need for a tow to the shop. He was able to get my car started and was very informative about the problem. The battery was in great shape but grounding and posts needed deep cleaning so we still towed to the shop. I was very impressed with John's knowledge and skill and was very appreciative of his detailed assessment of the problem. Friendly and experienced, I hope that if I ever need to call again, John responds to the call. Thank you!

My experience with CAA was probably the best towing experience anyone could possibly have i called them to tow my gold wing motorcycle they are a very heavy bike when the driver Sam showed up he had actually ordered a second truck to help him with the bike he was very knowledgable about towing motorcycles he knew this was a very heavy bike the care this man took
To Secure my bike was second to none drivers name is Sam I could go on and on about him but to let you know you’re in good hands especially with Driver Sam he is definitely an asset to your company thank you Sam and CAA

Ive been having problems with some issues with one of the sub-companies of caa roadside assistance. Been bounced around.

My first go to when going on a flight. Have booked overseas car rental and insurance numerous times at this CAA location. The travel agents are very helpful and so are the CAA agents. It can get crowded during rush times of the year and they do their best to be accommodating to people in the cue. Thank you Robyn!

My huband, 2 friends and myself had an appointment with Amy, the travel agent. We were planning on going to Alaska. We were met with a big smile, and wss right on the time we were suppose to meet. I found Amy extremely knowledgeable, and professional, and we booked our vacation.

Mother and I were loyal customers.

After many years, we had our first accident. Small one. Barely worth claiming.

Call up to discuss the issue as I've never had to deal with this scenario. Turns out they cancelled our account due to non-payment.

A fun little game they played over the last year. Come time for the automatic withdrawal and 'magically' something would go wrong.

Speaking with my bank and they inform me it was the actions of CAA that was placing the stop on my account.

The associate here in South London, when asked to look into it would immediately deny it was them without even looking into it.

The end result, my ability to get new insurance is now significantly damaged due to the non-payment issue.

Honestly if they had just told me to leave I would have happily gone somewhere else.

Let alone, if a payment is missed, the only option is to physically go in to the one location. Meaning I have to leave work to do so and hope he didnt leave early because apparently that's a thing when you only have one representative for the city of London.

This company only shows complete incompetence in thier ability to manage thier clients efficiently.

Let alone such negligence.

Currently building a case against them as they couldnt even remember to send me a letter of cancellation.

Go with anyone else. At least you'll either know they care or know they are trying to screw you. With this company, they simply lack common sense and ability. A complete lack of professionalism.

Very nice and luxury place for CAA, this is the new CAA shop they moved around 3 months ago if am not mistaken and the people they very friendly and helpful.

Helpful with a vacation that was underway, in the planning stage. Helped fined hotels, got us maps, gave good ideas for what else to do.

I paid for a CAA membership for years. When I finally had to use it, I called at 10: 20am. I was told that eventually the driver "would arrive in 45 minutes. " CAA sent a message saying the driver would arrive at 11: 13am (since he was only 10 min.away). There was an app to track the driver en route so I used it but the driver turned his GPS off and never showed up. I called CAA & after being on hold for 20 min they said it would be "another 45" min before arrival. I waited again. That time passed so I called again. I have been told a truck would be "ANOTHER 45 minutes. " I'm not entirely convinced a tow truck will ever come. UPDATE: The tow truck did not arrive at the third timing & a 4th timing was given.

Best EVER service! Best travel agents anywhere. They are conscientious and detail oriented so you do not have to guess what is happening.

Staff was so helpful in getting me my Trip maps for my trip to the east coast via the US. New store is nice too!

Great service in store. I found exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I had to go into the store to get it. Online website is really terrible and doesn't show all that is available in store. New location looks great though.

Didn't know this store was here. Went to get an international driver's Lisence. Quick, efficient and friendly service. Thank you Sarah!
