Been a CAA member for many years.
Service very disappointing.
Have gone elsewhere for booking trip to Portugal.
This location needs to improve service.

Very fast service and knowledgeable reps. Had to get a photo of my infant taken for passport. They were very patient and helped make sure the Pic would be acceptable to the government.

The staff are mostly friendly and knowledgeable. I first booked a travel appointment as I wasn't sure if I was going to make a pitstop on my way back from visiting Croatia. I ended up booking my flights on my own so the travel agent Nancy still assisted me with my travel insurance even though she seemed a little annoyed. You don't need a travel appointment to get your travel insurance you can just purchase it through member services. Well personally I like to ask questions and make sure I'm 100% aware of what's covered. So Nancy still helped me with that but like I said she was a bit annoyed and had a slight attitude but I just ignored it and she did help me and answer all my questions. My only big issue is that there isn't enough people working there for the volume of customers at that location. Also the call center leaves you on hold for ever! I called 2 different times and was on hold for over 30 minutes and had to hang up because I couldn't wait any longer. But back to the store it's the only location in the Hamilton area so they should have more staff on hand to assist because the store was really busy and I stopped in on Tuesday at 12: 30 PM. By the time I was finished with my few questions with Nancy and then purchasing my insurance at member services I was at the store for an hour. When I got into the line for member services there was 3 people ahead of me I believe that day and there was only 2 agents working on that side handling all member services which includes passport photos as well. Hire more staff

Update: So I had someone from the office reply to my review and say to email them with more information. I reached out the very next day and that was a couple weeks ago now and still haven't heard back from them so what was the point in asking for more info on my experience? I also noticed that you have deleted your response as well from my review why would that be? I don't know what's going on with your office there but like I said in my review initially you guys really need to get your staff in order and get more service for your customers. Us as members of CAA pay significant fees every year to be a part of this membership and you should be providing better service for your customers.

They obviously don’t want my business. I called and left a voice mail to contact me to book a trip, as live people don’t answer the phone. Have not heard back.

No follow through.

We had booked an appointment and had the whole family show up to arrange our march break holiday for 11 people with Helene. We spent an more than an hour discussing different options with her. She was in a big rush to leave the store and had her coat on and left before any us. Before she rushed off she told us that she would email us all the options we had discussed with more information. We waited days and despite expressing the urgency of booking the holiday, no email showed up to the multiple people in our group that provided email addresses. Junk mail was also checked. Only after sending an email prompting a response did she send only one of the multiple options we discussed with no further important information. We decided to book our vacation quickly and easily with another travel agency. Won’t be going back to CAA travel.

Paid for a gold membership, called CAA after going in a ditch, hitting the low spot and popping back out the other side. They basically told me they can't help me. Apparently if I'm stuck, their tow trucks would get stuck too. I'm hurt and they did nothing for me. What's the point of having a membership? *writing this from the ditch with a bloody nose and sore face*

Had to use the towing services for the first time. As I arrived the tow truck driver left.
Had to call back and wait another 40 minutes. I received a call saying that the truck driver showed up 40 minutes prior to arrival time. Text messages should say please be on site for duration of expected time.

I know that they will call me back some day. I left a message 4 days ago. The probably know that we only want to go away for 2 weeks to a 5* resort and have 2 very difficult questions. Its ok, I understand.

We had a mishap with the car in our driveway. CAA arrived in less than half an hour. The operator was wonderful. He took the time to help us out and was so courteous and efficient. He also took his time to do the job right. We have been clients since 1991 and its worth every penny.

This company is great as for the older grey haired lady that works at this location shes absolutely terrible. 0 customer service skills, 0 communication skills and basically makes people feel like serving them is putting her out. Let alone it takes her forever just to look up an account so I think the lady that can hardly do her job needs to re-evaluate how she treats her customers. I'll be filing a complaint to the branch and head office aswell

My daughter went to get travel insurance for Cuba. The representative was helpful and knowledgeable about what was the best product for my daughter. Very helpful location.

I had a flat tire. I had no Spear because Hybrids don't come with a spear. CAA was prompt and efficient. But more to the point, the gentleman, Richard, who showed up was outstanding. Incredibly patient and accommodating. He absolutely went above and beyond in my opinion. I don't go out of my way to write a review, good or bad, usually. But Richard deserves a shout out. I couldn't be more impressed honestly. Thanks to CAA and Richard specifically. He deserves a raise.)

Bad additude. Treated as if I had no other place to go because in reality there isn't. And she knows it. But to be snarky wirh me just because I asked if I would be able to use two calls on one extended trip if I needed it.

Terrible Customer service from travel team stay away! When your stuck they care more about going home on time. Rude judgemental and cant be bothered helping. Gave a 1 star simply because you cant give 0

Very bad service I came from state and inspected the hight quality from this service bad for 3 hours waiting in unsafe Area And waiting for them to help me they said sorry we can’t make it we’re busy what a great service u guys have I don’t recommend to no body there service is below 0 unbelievable and I told them that my dad is old man waiting in cold for 3 hours said nothing we can do what a treat for humanity u guys need to higher more employees to give good service very bad service I would never recommend to anyone be carful guys for you’re money they charge so much for members but with no service they just care about the money

They need to tell everyone who buys their membership they will not help you if you cannot get your car started at home only roadside
I do not see this in any advertising for their membership
