Cafe Greek Garden

Food portions are good for the price and it is a very romantic restaurant in general. Staff are a bit difficult to speak with and rarely come to check in at the tables

Had a late lunch today. The server was pleasant and helpful.
Nice looking restaurant good location.

I ordered the gyros pita sandwich. What I was served today looked nothing like that the picture posted by the owner in June 2021 (tasty looking shaved meat). Today I was served 4 slices of processed meat that looked liked dark bologna and tasted worse.

As a Greek, what I was served today was a complete and total embarrassment to Greek food and cuisine.

To the owner: it’s shameful that you sell this processed meat as Greek food. Invest in real gyros equipment and stop serving this garbage.

I will add that the restaurant didn’t charge me for the sandwich when I brought this to the server’s attention.

Went for dinner at 6 on a thursday. Great spot. The food is good. Menu selection is good as well. The atmosphere was nice as well. Our server was friendly and provided good service. 4.5 stars while she was at our table.
It did take a long time (10 minutes +) to greet us and take a drink order. We observed that she was looking after a really large area. This could use improvement. Hence, 3 stars. Will visit again.

Didn’t have the Italian wine that was specified on the menu. I prefer Italian wine but they served a California one. Also the waitress got the takeout order completely wrong!

The food is good as is the service, Sometimes the cutlery and glasses are not completely clean.

I got the seafood platter. It was pretty bad. However the other items were all pretty good. I cannot confirm the authenticity as I’m not familiar with Greek food

Great food, great atmosphere, sketchy accounting. They charged us tax on our "free" entree during a BOGO event. When I asked about it they said "It's a restaurant thing" which is dishonest to the say the least. I feel bad for their accountant.

They just lost my phone order so I got to stand around for half an hour waiting for them to put my food together. Didn't offer to comp it or anything. Get your **** together.

Came on the last day of "customer appreciation week"! Busy as a one-armed paper hanger! Waited 45 minutes, but the food was great! The only poor part was that our salads both had a large core from the lettuce in them! Bit of a turn-off. Tina and crew are amazing!

Placed pick up order, went after specified 40 minute expected time. Got there, had to wait an additional 40 minutes, before finally cancellling order.
If you're only doing dine-in orders, please do not accept take out orders.

My wife, my 2½ years old son and I came to dine-in at Cafe Greek Garden.

The Chef Setar recognized my son and I from so many times we have come for takeout.

Chef Setar was wonderful and he spoiled my son with a special kids meal.

We were assist by Juan. He was very polite, friendly and helpful. Juan gave us great menu recommendations.

We got our food served, and the presentation, details and portions were phenomenal

We were delighted with our food and how delicious it was.

We will definitely come to dine-in more often.

I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to my house.

After a long time ordering take-out, I finally came in person to the Cafe Greek Garden to pick-up my order and check out the restaurant.

The restaurant itself is very well set up, clean and organized, and with a great atmosphere.

Their food is simply delicious and always very fresh.

The Cafe Greek Garden is one of my family favorite restaurants.

The two young ladies who assisted me when I went, they were very friendly and professional (Thursday March 17th 2022 around 8: 20pm).

PS: I will post pictures of the food next time. I wanted to enjoy my food so badly that I forgot to take a picture, but trust me.it was delicious

Have to agree with the reviews about the one rude wait staff. She was rushing us out the door, brought our food out after people who arrived later then us, mixed up an order, and didn’t really check in throughout the meal. Food was hit and miss, some dishes much better then others.

Less than ideal experience today. Ran out of hummus *main reason I go for lunch there, ordered Greek salad with no olives *still got olives, lettuce was wilting and plate for salad was warm, table beside me also had errors with order. Disappointed in todays visit.

Beautiful restaurant. Menu had a ton of different options. Very tasty food. Food came very quickly. Beer on tap was excellently priced.

Ordered takeout at Sunday 6: 30pm. Was told 25min. Ended up being 45min. Right before they were about to hand be my food, they told me, "sorry, your 3 souvlaki dinners don't have any rice as we ran out of rice. " What kind of Greek restaurant runs out of rice at 7pm?

We’ve been meaning to know this place since 2020 and we finally went. The food was really tasty, our server was fantastic. The only thing is that this place needs some serious renovations.

Our first time dining there last Saturday night. Food is great and so much of it. Staff were so nice our server May was awesome. We certainly would recommend to others and will be back there.

Haven't been there in a few years. Company was fantastic. Server was very attentave and friendly. Would definately recommend.

As soon as I came here the waitress was rude. I was friendly and asked to be seated outside and the waitress said, "no, it's windy outside" even though it was sunny and nice out. We still said we'd like to be seated outside. We got there around 7pm. We got our water and some complementary bread 10 minutes in. The waitress was still rude to us for no reason. We ordered a salad and our meal and by 7: 45 we still didn't even have our salad and the entire time no one came to check in on us. I was about to leave. Eventually we asked if our salad was even ready or if we were forgotten about. She came back out and said the kitchen had to prepare the veggies so it took longer? And she gave us the salad with feta which we asked without feta. I am not sure why she was so rude from the very beginning when we weren't. I even gave a small tip since I was unsure of what happened that day in the kitchen or if it was her fault. Either way I wouldn't come back it was such an unpleasant experience.

The service was prompt and friendly, but I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered the tzatziki and pita and lunchtime moussaka. The pita was charred, the tzatziki was bland, the Greek salad was mostly head lettuce weighted down with too much olive oil. The rice was bland, but a good accompaniment to the generous slice of moussaka which was delicious.

I've been going here, or ordering in for years and I've never had a bad experience.
Was just there for my birthday and had a great night. Great service and of course the food was perfect.

Really wanted to love it

I’ve been a server for 15 years and never left a negative review but today was Mother’s Day. My mom order the stuffed chicken it had paper throughout it, so my mom asked to have another cooked. Instead they sent out the same piece just covered in sauce hoping my mom wouldn’t notice. She asked again for it remade and I was told it takes to long to recook another one and they wouldn’t do it. That she could have lamb (she won’t eat) instead as it doesn’t take long to cook. Then decided to blame the server saying it’s her fault when clearly there was paper in the chicken… how is that the servers fault? The owner didn’t really seem to care how upset my mom was. My poor mom on her day didn’t even eat dinner after this and she was so excited to come here. The amazing server we had (sorry can’t remember her name but she’s been there 24 years) was the best part about this whole experience… she got my mom her favourite dessert after all this… thank you so much. Will not be returning and this was one of our favourite restaurants to meet at.

Friendly and fast service and good food. We had a later dinner - around 7: 30 and had no problem being seated for dinner and served right away.

We ordered dinner for takeout with a scheduled pick up time of 6: 15pm. We arrived on time, and were told they were running "A few minutes late". Our meals weren't ready until 7: 23pm! If it hadn't been prepaid, we would have just given up. The portion sizes were good, but the chicken was dry and barely palatable. The best part of the meal was the rice. Very disappointing service and food.
