The best! Love it here so much. Pizza, pasta, shakshuka, everything is so good! Highly recommend!

Friendly service. Open and pleasant environment. The goat cheese and berry salad was very tasty.
Would like some keto/low carb bakery options but I say the same for everywhere.
Had a very enjoyable visit.

Can’t tell you how much I crave the food from here. Delicious options for vegetarians also. If you have to wait a bit for a table don’t worry it is worth the wait and the service is quick once you are seated.

Mocha, Landwer's Famous Iced Tea, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Halloumi Shakshuka and Ultimate Warm Chocolate Babka. Very flavourful, delicious dishes and drinks! Staff was very friendly and professional. Great atmosphere, location and customer service. Will recommend and will definitely be back!

I had my first ever solo date today at this place. Went to do some writing and it turned out to be a real help. Loved the vibe, loved the food, loved the service.
Abid was taking care of my table; helped me choose my order since I recently got braces and there's a lot of limitation in what I can eat. Would definitely take my friends.

One of the best coffees, many amazing dishes and I love that their opening hours allow me to go there with friends at all times.

Nothing warms the heart like the Sahlab at this place. A great spot for coffee, snacks or a full meal. It’s busy so expect to wait and sometimes the service can be slow.

I've been to multiple Cafe Landwer locations for brunch and dinner over the years, and found the food to be consistently tasty. I met a friend here recently for a weeknight dinner and were seated right away (we had a reservation). Definitely recommend making a reservation if you can as this place is always packed - there were a few groups waiting for walk-in tables.

The menu is quite comprehensive and they have no shortage of drink options either! I enjoyed my sinia kebab - the beef kebabs were juicy and flavorful. The grilled vegetables and fresh focaccia were nice as well.

Service was friendly although they were definitely understaffed for the dinner rush. It was hard to get their attention and we had to wait a while for our check. However, the hostess did a great job at making sure our water glasses were full!

Do not order takeout or pickup from this restaurant! The wait times are ridiculous despite the estimated time provided… just order from somewhere else if you don’t want to waste your time

The food is really good and full filling. I like the vibes at this place, retro style. The services are ok. Overall my experience here are really good!

Loved the place. Great fusion of ethnic and conventional breakfast. The breakfast for two included eggs, coffee, bread and a whole slew of Mediterranean dishes, tapas-style. It was a lot of food, would have probably sufficed 3 or 4 people total! Also great staff and good service. You can order your meal contactless via your cell phone as well!

Landwer never disappoints! The food is so fresh, the portions are very generous, and the bread is exquisite! I recommend you order some mint lemonade with your meal, it’s the perfect accompaniment!

The one thing that stood out the most here was the service. The attendants were super friendly, seemed to enjoy what they did and it showed in their quality of service. This was one of those times that, as a customer, I felt like tipping them really well was justified, instead of doing it just because it's expected, it being a social norm.

The place can be slightly cramped for a larger group of 6-8 people, but the ambience is great and the quality of food was excellent. The options available on the menu were also extensive. Will highly recommend!

My server Ash was sent from the heavens. He is a dream come true. I’ve never felt more comfortable and satisfied with service before. HE IS AMAZING. He recommended the Rose Ravioli and it was delicious. Thank you Ash! God Bless you! Give this man a raise!

Great place! Nice place to have a good conversation with your friend. I loved the environment. I had a nutella latte and rozalach. Latte was very well made.

Overall service could have been slightly better. I don't have any complaints but they almost forgot to get our food. I loved their interior and I feel it's good to have reservations if you are going during a busy hour. It's always busy.

What a pleasant vibe, amazing staff, tasty food and drinks and extraordinary experiences at the busiest intersection of Toronto. I loved this café! It has all you need anytime of the day. The nutella cream hot chocolate was timely during this cold weather. I loved the fact that they had Kunafa dessert and a beer named after Beirut! Wonderful overall.

Food is absolutely delicious. This place is on my list for every single time I visit Toronto in the future.

Amazing and unique brunch option in this area offering both Mediterranean and Italian fare. Their hummus and chicken shawarma is the best I have tasted in downtown so far. They also have some traditional desserts like knafeh which was amazing to try. Our server Lisa was very attentive and explained everything very well. Highly recommend this place.

Meh. I want to give the benefit of the doubt that they were busy and so the hiccups with our food and service were unusual. My son’s pizza was very burnt so I had to send it back (I rarely do this!). They had high chairs which was nice and the place was clean and bright with a fun atmosphere but the service was lacking. We had to keep calling for attention to get more water, utensils, etc that should have been obvious. Our table wasn’t cleared during our visit until the end and we had a lot of stuff on a small table. The food was good other than the pizza… nothing exciting in my opinion. The manager (I assume she was manager) came to see how things went near the end so that was nice but I felt pretty ignored otherwise. In general, I don’t understand what the hype is about. Other than really nice plating and an energetic atmosphere, why do people love this place? I waivered between 3 and 4 stars for this review because it was just ok to me.

This is the second Cafe Landwer location I have been to, and I was disappointed. The environment was great and it was lively and fun during the lunch hour, however, the food was sub par.

Had the best dinner here with the help of our server Ash! He was so great in making sure we had everything we wanted/needed and always checked in with us. Will definitely come back for his service!

Everything was going well; the server answered our questions, the food was delicious and the portions were good.
Then we told the server that we wanted to take home the rest of the dish. We waited, even ordered dessert and waited. Only to find out that she didn’t understand and threw out the food. That was Extremely disappointing. We were looking forward to having that later as it was tasty.
This experience left “a bad taste” with me as I paid and walked out.

This was a second chance visit after an underwhelming first visit soon after they opened this location. We came in for brunch and I had pancakes and a breakfast sandwich. My company wanted a Benedict but we were told the time had passed for offering one (although a table that arrived after we did was able to order one? !) ; they had a chicken sandwich. For drinks, we had Belgian hot chocolate with white chocolate and orange juice. I enjoyed my sandwich although I thought the 3 tiny pancakes were a bit overpriced. The chicken sandwich was okay. I doubt I'll be back
