The food here is very good. The price is more then reasonable. The $16.99 meal deal is great. A bowl of noodle and dumpling soup, rice noodles, a fried item and a drink. I got the shrimp dumplings and noodle soup. The dumplings were excellent and had lots of shrimp in them. The pork and chive rice noodle roll was hot and fresh and very tasty. The fried dough stick was great as was the milk tea. Be warned however the chili oil is very hot which is great.

We also got the chocolate and condensed milk french toast. This is an excellent choice!

The only downside of this place is having to order via a website scanned on a qr code. I find these obnoxious.

One of the better HK cafes in Scarborough. The most important factor that determines this is their HK Milk Tea (Lai Cha), it is strong and smooth. It also isn’t in a dainty little cup either… they only hand them out in take-out cups now, but I prefer this as it’s too much for me to finish in one sitting. A must try is their Salted Duck-yolk Lava French Toast. It’s a sweet dessert like sandwich, common breakfast item but I would eat that at any given moment! The service is fast and friendly. There’s also a QR online menu for easy access, as their menus are HUGE!

The decor is cute, and super retro! If you’re willing to pay more for cute desserts / dim sum, it will definitely either impress someone or at the very least give them a good laugh.

Many HK style food choices. Great portion and average price. The place is cute and very HK style decoration. There’s no much service but I guess that’s really resemble what HK is like. Will come back again and try their other dishes.

Our favorite spot for weekend brunch! Authentic HongKong taste with wide selection choices of food to choose from dimsum, dessert, noodle, meal set!

Super affordable price, there is a huge long waiting line if you go here on the weekend.
But food & atmosphere is definitely worth the wait.

Hidden gem in my opinion the food was delicious it was so flavourful and cooked perfectly.

We got the Chicken Cutler with Scallion Oil on instant noodles. Very tasty the chicken was so tasty! It would have been great if there were a little more scallions but very tasty non-the-less. We also got the Curry Pork Chop and scrambled egg on rice which was AMAZING. This dish is so flavourful and tasty out of the two it was our favourite for sure! Must try this one!

You can also turn each of these dishes into combos with a drink which is always nice!

Went for breakfast, price is average so the portion. Food was okay.
Staff was nice but zero service because they are extremely short staff.

1 for wait time, 3 for taste, 2.5 for price.

The Cafe has plenty of parking outside with that "authentic" HK style feel. The music is old Cantonese songs, but is too loud for my tastes.
Even with a low number of patrons (4 tables) we had a really long wait time.about 30 minutes?
Service is okay, but could be improved for sure.
Prices are too high for what they're offering. If they could drop each item by a dollar or two, the place would be more reasonable. I would also like to see more snack items below $5-6 on their menu. The portions and taste are not what is expected of the price at all. Can't justify paying $7 for a cup that's smaller than what you would get at any other BBT location.

Loved this place! Great tasting milk tea, cheap and scrumptious breakfast dishes, fresh ingredients and wonderful service.

Tasted just like the food from my younger days in H. K. Will be back again soon!

Not bad for an area in Scarborough where HK type food does not exist. I thought it was just decent at best.but if you bring your HK parents and ask them what they think.they would say they don't like it. It's not authentic. There's too much mainland China influence.

However, some items like the fried chicken cutlet on top of the ramen noodles was good.but only because of the green onion scallion oil that gives all the flavour.

Interior is very nice though. I enjoyed the decor for sure.

My revisit this time has proven to be a valuable visit. Other than the regular Hong Kong style food menu, I tried the Dim Sum here and was surprisingly good.
In addition, I would like to thank the you g man named Alex, who is very friendly, patient and efficient. It has been a long while without seei g amy young man with the same attitude and service standard at mamy Restaurant. Alex is outstanding. This is considered to be the best in the city. They have great Hong Kong style milk tea. Food is hot and tasty. The waiting list system is effective, and staff is helpful. There are more smaller tables so that for a party of 4 or below it would be faster to get a table. The milk tea is strong enough but not too strong. Pricewise is reasonable for the quality. The only comment is that ice tea has too much ice even if you asked for less ice. Otherwise, it would be perfect to taste Hongkong style dishes in this restaurant. I would recommend and you should try as well.

Best Ying yang I have had so far. The food was good. Their pineapple bun was a bit stale but I did go around noon. The service was not the greatest. We had to ask 3 times for a dish before they finally remembered to make it. Everyone else had finished their meal by the time it arrived.

The price of the food does not match the taste and quality. Everything was slightly bland in flavour. I guess the decor is unique and that's what you're paying for. Wouldn't go back to that neighborhood just for that though.

Really enjoyed coming here. Decor made us feel back in HK eating. Service was quick and friendly. Loved the old school food options plus new cute fooo designs. Food tasted great and flavorful.

Under new ownership since September 2022. Traveled from Vaughan to check this place out. Cafe le Majestik will not disappoint. The staff was very nice and courteous. Authentic, grass-roots Hong Kong cuisine at its finest. 1960s style decor. Will definitely come back. 10/10.

The hidden gem! Old HK style interior, authentic HK cafe, the taste and quality is incredible!
Although rather far from our place but definitely worth the drive!

Had the chance to try the breakfast and lunch menus on separate occasions. The vibe of the place is unique, like walking into a cafe in HK. It is also rare to have this style of food in this area.

The food is honestly average compared to other cafes offering similar items. No reason to really come back after trying the stand out dishes.

Mid Nov, 2022 weekday lunch. Hainan Chicken Rice is up to expectation. HK style milk tea is nice as well at cost of $2 when bundled. Otherwise $4 by itself. The hugh curry sauce pork chop rice with pouch eggs cover plate is tasty but rice is bit from fully boiled. Overall price is modest for quality and size. The list of offerings is competitive with the popular one at FMP. The parking, dining hall space, setting, decor, seat and tables availability, staff earnestness are welcoming. Guests are Chinese while mostly HKer accented and seniors. Mandarin accent and local born youngster are many. The serviceing team definitely very HK way. Though it is on the east end of winding, bumpy McNicoll intersecting all day busy Hwy 48/ Markham Rd, a hurdle to travel this far from the town west!?
Early jan 2023, weekday. Pig blood jelly dace fish ball congee with white pepper powder sprinkle is really nice. Only the rice content is bit thin.
Mid Jan 2023, weekday, lunch. Dace fiah ball thick noodle soup, $10 per bowl. The 5 dace fish balls texture is loose and not springy, not quite colonial HK type. Actually, the client and staff demographics and ambience, vibe are more present day Cantonese than native colonial HK style.

This is a hk style milk tea place I would definitely go back again. We only had breakfast and it was already great, the hk style milk tea was great, pineapple bun with butter was delicious. Only regret not having enough time to check out their lunch menu.
The service was good and cfood came our fast, the atmosphere is okay, not sure what I would expect, but I do like it.
Everything all together was a great place to eat.

Went there for lunch with my family. Was seated promptly by the server at the booth. However 5 minutes later, after my my kids were settled at the table and water was brought, the manager rudely said we have to move. Instead of politely offering another table, we were told this table was reserved and we had to go back to the front to wait again. Although she did apologize afterwards and gave us another table right away, it was handled very poorly and left a really bad taste. Food is ok, fairly unique and ambiance is nice but not worth 30 min drive for us.

The food here was absolutely delicious. Milk tea is okay and nothing particularly special. Really appreciate the decor and the Hong Kong cafe or dai pai dong theme. Staff were very friendly and took care of cleanliness to ensure a positive customer experience.

I had really high expectations for this HK cafe due to recommendations from friends. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming and disappointing. Extra star is for the prompt service.

Typically, whenever I go to a HK cafe I’d stick with the staples such as baked spaghetti or satay beef/macaroni ham, so naturally I’d ordered these items on this visit, and neither had any real flavour, and portion sizes were small. Additionally, the molten salted egg yolk chicken wings were soggy and not worth $13.99 for the dish. The saving grace is the scrambled eggs and toast.

For some reason, our table was the only one that received hot milk tea in a to go cup, instead of dine-in mug with spoon. We did not have anything to stir sugar in. Overall, just an odd experience and will not be going back.

A HK style cafe with a unique interior design. Lots of free parking available. Affordable/reasonably priced food.

The menu has good variety, and some items have cute details, e.g. Rabbit shaped desserts.

We got some pan fried baos, a scrambled egg breakfast set, and a dimsum set. We also ordered HK style milk tea.

Overall, disappointed by the taste of the food especially since the presentation is nice. Everything was mediocre, not enough flavour, even my parents agreed. The milk tea was delicious though.

Overall friendly/bright vibe since families and kids were here on the weekend, and the soccer game playing in the background. Would not come for the food though.
