Cafe Mirage Grill & Lounge

The wait time was too long. The appetizer was mediocre. The Tuscan chicken was good, but not good enough for me to return.

This place has gone down in quality and guest experience. Stale cakes and poor service from annoying servers that beg for tips. Nothing like entitled little servers that feel like pests. Haven't gone back here since the two tries and two bad experiences were enough. Won't be back here unless they can somehow prove they've changed.

Despite being a "cafe", the food here is top notch. It can be a little pricy but definitely worth trying.

Service is great! Tried their Lamb Shank on a hot pan for the first time it was a nice surprise, tasty and juicy just as my server recommended. Very creative!

I actually loved the dishes and customer service, good area very close to my house. The employees are always welcoming. Highly recommended.

Held a business networking event there yesterday. Food was very good and the service was excellent. The owner took a moment to come by and say hello and all staff were super.

Always enjoy my time at Mirage. Service is always friendly and on point. The menu is diverse and caters to all tastes.

We had our baby shower there last time the food was amazing, portion was generous and service was excellent. I am really impressed and would highly recommend.

First time here over the weekend for my friend's birthday party. Man their food is huge, salad is crunchy and salmon is fresh. A few servers there are great. Definitely would recommend this place. Their dessert is a must!

20 minutes after we placed our order with the waitress, she comes back informing us that "the order did not go through on the system. ". We had to order a 2nd time. Total sitting time before order arriving exceeded 40 mins.

The specialty coffee is a little on the expensive side but had lunch here as well and the food was very good.
I love the patio for those hot summer days.

Ordered the Mocha Cake and the Brownie Overload with two hot chocolates. Everything was lacklustre and not very tasty. Ended up eating less than a third of each desert and then called for the bill when we could finally get a hold of a waitress. When asked how we enjoyed the food, we both indicated we didn't like the food and were told "Well now you know what not to eat when you're here. " Will not visit again. The deserts looked nice and came quickly. Servers were mostly friendly but not overly attentive.

Good service, server paid attention to you, but the price was unreasonably expensive. A regular tea cost $3.50 and a small sweet potato $9.00. So based on service very good, but price point wont make me go back.

I've been in that Cafe Mirage a few times with friends and once with my hubby. Food is great, Service friendly and quick. We were able to do our
chatting without any music blasting, which was nice.
My Chicken Quesadilla was my first test run, and it's been my order ever
since. Delicious.
The coffee was always good, and plenty of it. No negative comments from me. I will go again, and maybe try something else, as what my
friends had ordered, looked amazing. Will come back with friends and husband, for sure.

Great place for delicious food after a night out with friends. Staff is excellent and quick. Love the desserts.

Came here for the first time, and was immediately impressed by the variety of the menu considering I was expecting it to be just a breakfast restaurant. The staff was super friendly and on point with the little things like refilling coffee among other things. The best part for me however was the quality of the food. Even the side salad of my order was delicious. I was so impressed that I ended up ordering a slice of the Chocolate Eruption cake and I don't usually order dessert after a heavy breakfast, but I had to do it in this case. Will definitely come back. 11/10 Restaurant

Good service. Great selection of food especially dessert. Kinda pricey but hard to finish almost anything you order. They give you a lot on your plate. Too much ice cream tho, as if it's there to take up space like when they give you too much rice and not enough meat/ vegetables when you order a shawarma plate or biryani lmfao. Posh interior design. Fantastic breaky place! Big portions.goat cheese omelet or benedict's are my fav! Coffee is good and continuous with meal. Big open space with huge windows. Sports on TVs but no sound and have standard contemporary music playing. A few bucks more but worth it! Staff is awesome!

Been here a few times as a big fan of their burgers I think they said it's made in house with never frozen beef and it tastes great. Highly recommend this place

We had birthday party for a fiend at Mirage and it was great. Their dessert has always been amazing. I am very impressed with their service. They were really busy but they take care of the business really well. I heard their food is good too will have to try next time

Great place for dessert. Other food options are also good but best thing is dessert. I love this place. This is our favourite place for brownie on waffle. You must try this dessert. Vegetarian friendly. This restaurant has good ambience. Service is very good. Only the thing is it's bit expensive compared to other cafes.

I would give a -2 if I could. Went with my niece to have crepes for brunch.waiting with my nieces for 3 min for a menu and had to grab from the table beside ours and then another 15 min then left. But before leaving, I tried to wave down a someone to get my oders and one of the waitresss did acknowledge me but ignore us completely. Left. Worst service ever.

A gem in the city, the best crepe ice cream, the best drinks everything is made carefully, waitress and waiter spectacular customer service. I m assiduous customer here.

Nice selection of desserts and hot beverages. It gets quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays so service is slower than usual, but it’s always a good time.

Such a welcoming vibe! Went here for a private event and I loved seeing the staff work so perfectly together to make sure everyone was enjoying their experience. I love when owners make themselves visible at their restaurants! Jackson definitely went out of his way to do that and make sure we were all taken care of! The food was great! I especially loved the bruschetta and spring rolls. All and all a great place for all occasions!

Place has gone down big time. Dark dingy environment not warm at all. Long wait to take order and to get food. Waiters just goofing around behind counter. Food was dry and tasteless, seems pre made and just heated to serve. Not wasting another dollar here!

I've never had a bad experience here until yesterday. The "waiter" we had was not made for customer service.

Our table had 2 orders of spring rolls, bruschetta and sweet potato fries.

To start, after the waiter took our order, we waited a good 25 minutes to even recieve water. And even longer for a refill. Another 15 minutes later, we received the all the food we ordered. The spring rolls were cold, the bruschetta was BURNT, HARD, and COLD. Which I returned and asked for a second order of fries (which took extremely long to come). Now, i am a frequent customer at this location and the sweet potato fries are usually presented in big bowl stacked high.

Last night however, they were served in a small cereal bowl, not worth the $9.00 but I didnt have much of an appetite for anything else on the menu after the terrible bruschetta.

This is unfortunate, because one of my guests had never been before and I encouraged her to try this place out because they never dissapoint on the food. However, tonight out of all nights where everything was terrible!

I still tipped the waiter because I am a decent human being but I am extremely disappointed to have wasted my time here last night.

Very impressed with the food we ordered in a very busy weekend morning. Service was great - friendly and professional. Our next table guest said this place is actually busy all weekend long. Overall it's a very well managed full restaurant. Definitely will be back for their dessert.

Consistently excellent food. At times I've found the service to be mediocre, even when they aren't busy, but the food is what I go for, and the food never disappoints! Nice ambiance and comfortable seating.

Just got a coffee and a slice of cake. I go there all the time. I like the service. I like the food. Price is ok as well. Should add more healthy options.

Been coming here for over a decade. Very well trained and friendly staff. Food is amazing especially lamb chops and grilled salmon that's also well priced. Highly recommend this place.

Food and service was great but it was so cold in there. My feet were cold eventhough I was wearing boots! My advice is, dont sit anywhere near the front or back doors.

My first time here I was impressed with the place. Second and third time were alright but leaning towards not wanting to try again. Then tried it again through UberEATS, and still disappointed. The taste of their food can be hit or miss, and portion sizes aren’t worth the price in my opinion. Only reason I’ll go back would maybe be the desserts, but even then I can get better priced and portioned desserts elsewhere.
