Calabrese Pizza

I used to work very close to this pizza place. I came back for the first time in years after a blue jays game on my way home. The pizza here is spectacular. Fresh crispy crust, thin, light sauce and cheese. Fresh and hot. Everything you want in a pizza. The pricing is exceptional and their garlic sauce is amazing.

I would consider moving to the area just to be close to this pizza place. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Eat here.

I found the pizza to be fairly bland, taste wise. Also, the garlic dipping sauce was terrible, which they charge 1-2 dollars for. I wouldn't even take it for free.

Lots of seating inside. Great deals on various kinds of pizza, they also serve pasta and desserts.

I got the two personal margherita pizzas for around $15. It took about 20 mins to prepare. They tasted very fresh, too much sauce though, so it was a little too wet.
Overall would come back due to great location

If I could give no stars I word my whole meal is trash. It looks good but the wings have NO flavor doesn't even come with sauce. The Mac and cheese taste spoiled. My garlic knots were stale I can't eat this only thing I can manage to swallow is the wings I added my own sauce.

Food took two hours to arrive. (10 mins drive away.) The pizza and fries were cold and soggy.

The potato wedges I ordered barley filled the cup it came in.

Don't order on Ubereats. They won't help.

Absolutely Delish panzarotti. Filling fresh large serving size definitely recommend will return.

Absolutely awful pizza. I opened the box and genuinely started laughing because I couldn’t believe my eyes. I got a “Margherita pizza” (doesn’t feel right even calling it that) and it was just dry bread with a few pieces of fake squeaky cheese and 1 tiny piece of basil. Best part is the basil was Thai basil which has a completely different taste than typical basil. I couldn’t even finish it. So disappointed, one star is giving it too much credit. And it wasn’t even cheap! Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

I got a pizza "margherita" from this place and this was as bad a pizza ive had in a while pizza pizza is not the worst pizza place surprisingly. Instead of basil they put thai basil, the crust was still full of flour, super dry and at the same time almost stale. The "mozzarella" not sure thats what they used here seemed like it had been added after the pizza had been cooked, it had not melted and was essentially solid. The tomato sauce was straight out of a can. The cherry on top of all this miserable pizza was that it cost around 18 dollars after tax for a 10 inch pizza which didnt even come close to filling my appetite or expectations. Suffice it to say i dont recommend this place that has the audacity to call itself Calabrese pizza.

Fix your online ordering. I literally spent 10 minutes trying to order and ended up getting something else.

Absolutely tasteless pizza with little to no ingredients. I asked for regular crust and got a thin, cracker seeming pizza with toppings that were cold. Probably the most disappointing sad pizza I’ve ever had

Amazing deal for amazing pizza. It's so cheap and also so good. Got the medium cheese and medium pepperoni take out special, $10 for both. It's fresh, really good for the price, and just great for weekend dinner or even drunk food. Their garlic dipping sauces are also really good. Got 4. Going here often!

Have had pizza here a few times and love it. The quality is fantastic and I think it tastes amazing. Staff really care about their product and it’s shown by the quality of the food.

The pizza base dough needs a little more salt as I really wanted to taste more of the amazing fresh dough. Amazing.

We chose the XL combo deal but didn’t get a choice in what drinks we could get as we ordered through Uber.

Oh and our fries were missing in our order which is sad as I love their fries!

Hand stretched, thin crust, well cooked with a nice cruch, generous toppings.

The gentleman owner & his wife are beautiful souls, heart of the earth types of people, generous & always friendly.

Great homemade garlic dip & canolis?

Ordered panzo on Uber Eats. The bottom was raw. They also didn’t give me the garlic dip I ordered. Panzo was a 3/10.

I called just to ask if they are having delivery and if I could order on the phone with them. The guy said “ No no, go to Uber” then hang up the phone suddenly without hesitate 1 seconds to hear any response. What kind of service like that…

Btw, this is my first time, I never tried from them. I wanted to order from them. I don’t know what to say =. =

As I'm writing this I hear, "eww there is waaaaay too much flour on this". Would like this to addressed before ordering again.

If you're looking for a cheap eat and your on a budget. You will get great value here, get the walk in special. 2 medium pizza for $10 plus taxes. Pepperoni or cheese only. I grabbed 2 of their specials to feed the family. It is thin crust pizza with small Pepperoni. Can't complain it hits the spot! Have a look at my pictures and press the like button! Always on the hunt for good cheap food.

Over priced under cooked and staff are too lazy/busy watching videos on their phones to answer phone calls or make orders. Waited 20 mins just for it to be canceled and of course could not reach the store and as it is near me I walked to find the door locked 30 mins before close time. Guess someone had plans. Never giving you my time or money again. Also the garlic dip is Second House creamy garlic can be bought on Amazon!

These guys are really fast. They deliver from all the way from Calabria to your location in almost 2 hours from the time of your order. I could have gone to Italy and back by foot and would have had pizza faster. As I speak I'm still waiting on these brilliant folks atleast start on my pizza. Either that or you're $h! T at managing your time and your restaurant. Hope your pizza is better than your customer service.oh wait I don't even have a pizza yet. Support local businesses.that gives a $h! T about your food.

Have been ordering from this place recently, and have been somewhat satisfied with the quality and service. The last order I received, however, was awful. It took slightly over an hour to receive an extra large cold pizza, delivered by their delivery driver, who responded when asked why this order took so long, that he had another delivery. He then stated that if I was not satisfied, that I could order from another pizza store. Terrible customer service from an otherwise ok pizzeria.

This place is a hidden gem! The food was delicious and service was amazing. This is the best restaurant I have eaten at in YEARS!

Pizza was okay, just ok. Wings tasted like frozen store bought wings. Large pizza was not very filling at all, guess it was the thin crust, the garlic dipping sauce was fantastic though.

This place is phenomenal. We use to live on Lakeshore and loved going here frequently. Their garlic dip is out of this world. I try my best to come back any time I am in the west and never disappointed. And on top of it all the honor mask exemptions. No discrimination here not one bit. The way it should be! 10 stars!

Amazing pizza, with amazing people. The ingredients are always fresh and they are always open late. Get the brio as a drink, really ties everything together. Garlic sauce is the cherry on top.

The sauce is on point, not like other pizzerias, this one you can tell it's made in house with fresh tomatoes

After this interaction, screw it! The driver was beyond rude for something beyond me. Also, in case anyone is wondering it's just pizza and he is higher then that. I was also trying to support local and order online instead of ubereats. Next time, pick another place or just order through ubereats. Also, always send your driver with a machine, it's 2021! I can't leave a review on your website for some reason and can't find you on social media but have supported this local shop for awhile.

Folks remember that reviews are personal opinions and there are about 8 billion different ones.so people, don't get your knickers all in a knot over them. There seem to be so many pizza 'sommeliers' out there as if you went to universirlty to get a degree in pizza evaluation.
For my taste, this pizza does the trick.good bread and nice thin crust and tasty for my buds. I will call on them when I'm hungry ans jamming around the corner.

Very decent pasta, garlic bread, and pizza. Don't bother with their Caesar salad unless you're a fan of soggy croutons

I went there twice now and never again. The first time an older gentlemen and maybe his son made an amazing sandwich for my wife and I, it was 9.95 per sandwich with toppings. Second time I went two guys with no masks one making the sandwich and another at cash register. Charged me 9.95+. 75 per topping. Terrible place beware people.

I have been eating this pizza for a few years. The quality has changed drastically. The customer service is horrible. I ordered extra large cheese pizza and all of the cheese was off the pizza. They brought me the wrong pizza and came to pick it up. They returned 20 minutes with a new pizza which was not cooked. When ordering the lady on the phone was extremely rude. The price has gone up but the quality has gone down. I will never order from this place again!

Like, I would post pics of what I ordered, but there’s none left. ‍️ I got high AF at 2 am and craved Mac and cheese, and CALABRESE was the only place open that had any. So I ordered it, along with some garlic knots. They were top tier and amazing. My kids loved them. But the Mac and cheese. Ohhhhhh my gooddddd the Mac and cheese.the best Mac and cheese I’ve had in my life and I’ve had a lot of Mac and cheese. My kids ate the leftovers, (which they NEVER DO) and were sad when it was gone. My life has been changed forever. Thank you so much and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

We recently moved to south Etobicoke and my partner and I have been looking for good, local, small-businesses to support. We had an amazing experience with Calabrese Pizza. We ordered 2 XL pizzas, 1 pepperoni, and 1 all veg. The pizzas were fresh, and delicious! The family running this business are kind, honest, and wonderful people. Also the value you get here is amazing! We will definitely be ordering again for our Friday Pizza nights. YUM!

They used to have great quality and I live only a few blocks away. I went there recently and got the extra large with the Sicilian toppings.it was bland, hardly had anything, and their pizza is so much thinner than before. Not buying here every again.

The customer service is regularly fast, fantastic mood, welcoming staff members. I will visit here again when I am in town.

Where to begin. Most visible flaw is how these pizzas are cut. Next would be the disparity in topping distribution. The dough is meh. While I appreciate it being thin crust without asking, its overly floured underneath and lacks taste.

Sauce is bland. Cheese is okay. Consensus of the night from the people at my party was disappointment.

I stopped by today for the first time. I have a lot of pizza options around the Mimico area so I'm making my rounds. I personally am not a huge fan of thin crust, but they make it right and tastes authentic.

I even ordered the butter tart and it was served warm. So good too.

Will def recommend and will be returning too sometime in the near future!

The pizza was really good. Nice to see someone using authentic ingredients and thin crust. But it got a little sketchy when I asked for a receipt. All of a sudden there was a problem understanding my English. The washroom could have been cleaner too.

Our favourite local neighbourhood pizza takeout place, easy to order through the app, friendly owner, and great tasting pizza. Our usual toppings are pepperoni, hot sausage, beef, and feta.

I ordered delivery through their website. Super easy and priced well. They were extremely fast and the food was fantastic and fresh. Plenty of leftovers for the following day. Probably the best pizza on the Lakeshore and South Etobicoke. Definitely will order from them again. Try their lasagna, you won't be disappointed. And the mixture in the garden salad was amazing and so fresh.

I live right by here and i eat here very often, both on uber eats and eating in.this is the best pizza i’ve found in toronto! Their creamy garlic sauce is the best i’ve ever had, and i thoroughly enjoy my food every time i order.if you live in the area, take the time to try this place out.truly fantastic pizza and sauces! (try their bruschetta sometime too, such fresh tomatoes and i hate tomatoes but i eat it often from here) thanks for being awesome!

The pizza itself was amazing! Thin crust, quality sauce and toppings. I have eaten in as well as picked up and had delivery to my house.

I do have to comment on the attitude of the delivery man (which was the same guy every time) who would not tell me the price and would not give me change. He expected over a $10 tip at one point and tried to walk away until I called after him.

I also am disappointed about the cleanliness of the people. While it is slow, one gentleman made pizzas, came to collect my cash (touching the cash itself and the register) and then continued to add toppings to pizzas and other cooking tasks. WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS in between. This happened every time I came in to pick up food and every time I saw him taking care of other customers.

Wow I am so happy we found this place. The pizza tastes so fresh and authentic. We can't wait to go back

I have been coming here for many years and have always been satisfied with anything that I have ordered and the prices are reasonable.

We always order the family meal which has a large pizza (2 toppings), chicken wings and drinks. Their split peas soup is my daughter's favorite. The pizza is always freshly made with a thin and crispy crust.
The place is clean, spacious and simple.washroom is decent. Overall cost for a filling dinner for a family of five is reasonable and the service is great!

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. It’s a thinner crust with lots of toppings and cheese. The owners are very nice and have great customer service. I come here very often and have always gotten good food.
