Came here for the first time. The ladies at the front were very kind, so customer service was good. I Bought a veal sandwich, and it was made very sloppy. I'm used to veal sandwiches being messy, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and gave it a try. The sandwich was tasteless, no flavour to the cutlet or sauce, besides the added mushrooms and peppers which were spilt out on the sandwich. Gave the leftover to my dog. I got a sausage, and that was pretty tasty. Most likely won't be back though.

While the hot food is great, the bakery itself is lacking in selection. Maybe I went on a bad/slow day.

Back in the day this place was way better. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich was falling apart, there if cooked fresh should hold together. The bread is the only reason for 2 stars. The pasta was dry and overcooked. The service was good but the food definitely needs to go back to old school.

Love the fresh food and baked goods. I get the chicken sandwich with onions green peppers and mushrooms yum yum! They also have pizza there that is baked in a stone oven, seems to be popular.

Family owned, established clientele due to its incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Everything is freshly baked day of, and the appeal of a small outdoor sitting area gives off pure European vibes!

First time at Calabria Bakery today, very fresh and tasty. Dined in and took some pastry’s and breads home. Had the wonderful opportunity to be served by a young tall young thin girl who made me a fancy late’ coffee and served up some hot veal entrees. However a shorter older woman with a ponytail left her own customers standing at the hot food bar to jump into the middle of my ordering my pastry’s for no unknown reason. Maybe she was after the tip I was leaving this young girl. Boo hoo on her a tip hogger. Places/Cafes like this should have shared tips as I’m sure there is also a baker or chef in the back who is just as deserving as the front liners.

Never again. Everything was stale. The cannoli were not right. The entire batch of anchovies was COVERED in something sticky and disgusting. I could not lift one jar off the tray they were all on. Rude staff as well.
I do not recommend 0/10 I will never go again

I am giving this place a low score based on the service I received and the fact that they were out of pizza. I dropped by this establishment to try the wood oven pizza and to my delight at approximately 2: 20PM in the afternoon on Dec. 9th, (keep in mind, they are now open till 5pm), the lady behind the counter said they are not making any more pizza for the day. I then asked what time do they stop making the pizza, she said 230pm, then she corrected herself and said they ran out of dough. Not impressed. I then took the two slices that were premade and paid 3.68$. Not happy with the price. The slices are tiny and the pizza was hard as a rock, as she did not offer to warm the slices. This is a safety hazard.
I can't comment on the pizza as not enough bites to enjoy as it was so small, not enough for a snack or a meal.

Before I started following a WFPB diet, the hubs and I would go to Calabria for the veal sandwich, it was good. In my opinion, what made the sandwich so tasty was the homemade tomato sauce; the sauce is so light, but, full of flavour. I, now, order the roasted veggie sandwich when we go there. The veggie sandwich is full of roasted peppers and onions and the bun that they go in is so fluffy and delicious.
Their cookies are incredible, especially, the Amaretti cookies, those are my favorite! They are very well known for their bread, which is incredible! It is always crusty on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. Everything is great here. We'll be back!

Nothing fancy here but good classic food. I stopped here for a Hot table lunch. Grabbed myself a chicken sandwich with all the fixins and a slice of pizza just to try out how good there slices. I would definitely stop here again for a quick bite. Nothing fancy but great food.

Great selection of hot table foods as well as Italian baked goods and on Thursday's and Friday's wood fired oven pizza.

Best veal cutlets in the city. And by Best I mean, melt in your mouth, no knife required. And their tomato sauce is my favorite of any other bakery / takeout. Sausage and peppers are nice too. I wish they were open on Sundays but it's ok.

This place is awesome. Great food and reasonable. Just are one of their Rum cakes $18 great deal awesome cake. Pizza is also very good. A must try in Scarberia.

Calabria Bakery is one of Scarborough and Torobto hinden Gems. Food is amazing and there wood fire pizza is the best in Toronto.

I've Recently noticed the pastries are a few days old and it wasn't the 1st time
that I bought here and notice this if they are more than A-day or 2 old is should be marked down as half price and you tell The customer how old it is not fair To your customers who are loyal

What an excellent bakery to buy from. Such tasty food and amazing staff. Especially during these tough times, I encourage you to go and buy from them and show your support.

The Food is good but if you have dietary restrictions make sure to specify and confirm your order! They got my order wrong two times on difference occasions. It didn't seem like they really cared the order was wrong. The second time my food was burnt.but I didn't bother saying anything. Its not easy for small business during covid. I didn't want them to have to remake my food. Would I go back? - yes, because we have to support our small business. I just hope they take more care in making orders correctly.

Didn't fathom the hype over the veal sandwich; was left completely underwhelmed by the soggy peppers and the flavour profile. The packaged Monterey Jack cheese, however, is exceptional. It's smoky with a distinct flavour.

Always an amazing experience! Consistently serves incredible food and desserts. My custom made wedding cake was not only stunning, but also delicious, I am still getting compliments on how perfect it was years later.

Great pizza. Honestly surpassed at how delicious it was! Mom and pop made it in the woods oven with love I can taste it!

Wood oven pizza is thursday and friday afternoon only. It's the best pizza in the city. The hot counter is nice, try the eggplant lasagna. Try the spicy potatoes and peppers. Try the focaccia bread. The veal and chicken cutlets are not my favourite. Great espresso. What else can I say? Italian people like this bakery. The end.

Amazing wood oven pizza and Italian food! I have been going about once a week for years and the food is always delicious. Come early on Friday if you want to find a seat.

Thursday and Fridays have fresh wood fire oven baked pizzas. Fantastic. Real, authentic food. A must go.

If you're there on a Thursday or Friday get the pizza. Any other day pick something delicious from hot table.

Beautiful bakery/restaurant! The pizzas are delicious and very authentic. The food and baked goods remind me of my childhood. This place never fails to raise my spirits. Grazie mille!

Thursday is pizza day. I was told it gets crowded around lunchtime on Thursday.

BEST fired pizza in ALL of Scarborough! And the donuts OMG you have to be there super early or they are all gone

I’ve been here many many times and always had the Stone Oven Pizza which is amazing. Please keep in mind they only run the pizza oven on certain days. Thursday’s and Friday (unless it’s changed recently).

Had a excellent experience in this spot with my girlfriend. The food was served quick and the service is just fantastic. Prices are fair.

Food is great, especially the pizza. Service can be unpredictable as some staff seem very unhappy. Prices are fair. Place could use a facelift.
