I recommend the pastries in the display, especially the egg tarts. I always buy 2-6 cause they go so fast. Lots of seating to enjoy your food.

The chicken/pork sandwiches on the grill, note that the meat is not deli meat and on the drier side. Any additions of lettuce, tomato, mushroom etc is 0.75 cents each. Although the bread was very soft!

I Highly recommend this place for a tasty coffee and a smile. Come support our neighborhood and stop buying tim Hortons.

1 girl using her bare hand cook Bacon, and turn herself to make a sandwich touch the bun, lettuce and tomato also with her bare hand not a single glove they put on

I bought macaroons from here for my son and they had brick hard stale filling in it and smelt awful. They generally don't replenish their baked stock. My son got food poisoning after eating one macaroon. Please be careful of what you buy from here

This is a Portuguese place and have a lot of good stuff too eat there and take out and a parking lot too

Caldense is a great neighbourhood cafe. Amazing prices and quality food. It's Portuguese so the baked goods have that flavouring. Clean, friendly where you can get a great breakfast for under 10 CAD

A Portuguese bakery with a great selection of European pastries, bread, and coffee. I have been coming here for many years and my experience has always been positive. Will be back again soon!

This is a lovely little bakery with some chill vibes. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The baked goods are good and the prices are great. I especially like the chicken or beef pockets/patties.

If I could change one thing, it would be the cannoli. I love cannoli and just wish these ones were fresher. Maybe that's just the price I pay for picking them up after work.

Service there has been bad. Been there multiple times HOURS before closing and each time they deny me buying deli or tosta mista because the machines are washing or have been washed already.

Today I told the girl working there I would wait for the cleaning process to be done and I was told it would take hours to finish.

My wife and I were coming back from getting an estimate for CSN down the street. We decided to have breakfast here. Why anyone would go across the road to Tims is beyond logic and taste buds. Food at this location was freshly made, real ingredients, great tasting and large portions. Well worth it. I have always bought fresh bakery items but never ate breakfast here. Abundant section of breakfast and bakery items. One thing I hold against them, they are not located in Mississauga, closer to where we live.

Worst staff working here. Different times I've been denied deli meat because machine is washing. They also discriminated someone of color right in front of me.

Very yummy pastries. We got an assortment of things which were all sweet. Next time I go I will try something savory. Went on a Saturday morning which was a busy time. There was only 2 staff working so service was a bit slow so my only suggestion would be to hire more staff (which I realize is difficult at this time due to the effects of the pandemic). There was a "We are hiring" sign in the window:)

I don't need to go anywhere else for cakes. What a gem. The Chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse was sensational. Perfectly moist and rich. Everyone loved it.

Very fresh and they have some really delicious foods! I loved the different tarts, croissants and the pastries I tried. They are really tasty.

I'm so sad to be writing this because I love their freshly baked breads/buns and their cod fish cakes but do not get anything from their cake selection. My husband and I went in there and decided to pick up a few goodies for the family and everything was stale and almost had a mouldy taste.

Bought chocolate mousse and strawberry black forest both were stinking too bad called them to advice about the same and they just said we put it fresh

Never had better Portuguese tarts!

Edit: We are not Portuguese - one of the ladies saw us struggling as we didn't know what to choose. She helped walk us through every single dessert (if it had sweet egg or not, which we don't like) and gave us her recommendations with bread. I've never had better customer service at a bakery, not even one from my own country. Thank you so much.

Always nice to drop in to load up on pastries. Although, the ladies behind the counter look and speak to us like we're aliens. ½ SURPRISE + ½ HORROR. Whatever, we like the food.

Normally they're pretty good, but there was a very inexperienced employee this past Saturday who was very slow and doesn't know how to provide great customer service.

I ordered a single, black, brewed coffee. Hours later, I was vomiting from food poisoning.

This can happen if the coffee machine is contaminated with other substances, or just unclean.

Great Portuguese bakery. Lots of options to choose from. We ordered a Vegetarian and Portugese sausage omelet with a side of bacon. The service and ambiance are friendly and fast. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood. Better than Tim's.

A classic! The pasteis de nata are incredibly good. Flakey pastry, perfect custard, not too sweet.

Awesome pastries and hot cappuccino. Staff can smile more they look like they’re not happy at all.

Not the cheapest place, but the food and drinks are good. Don't forget to try the natas and/or other Portuguese specialties!

The food is amazing and the service is beyond friendly and would meet the expectations of any coffee. I highly recommend it
