California Sandwiches

First time I went there and I took the veal sandwich. Didn’t like it so much but I liked the atmosphere and service

I usually do take out, but this location has plenty of room to sit down and it is very quiet so I sat and enjoyed my sandwich.
Their olives are a must too.
The only bad thing is that the prices keep going up.

This was my first time trying California sandwiches, I would definitely go again. I had the steak sandwich and it was pretty good. It was a bit pricey though.

The California sandwich I remembered from years gone by - Hugh and Filling.great value for $$. Holy Moly tons of meat. Veal with onions is my go to sandwich.

Big messy sandwiches that always hit the spot. 1 sandwich can easily feed 2 people, they are massive. Flavour and taste is pretty good. The rice balls are very good.

Arrived on a Sunday evening before closing. My sandwich was dry and burnt as if it had been sitting out all day under a heat lap or was forgotten about in the fryer. I evrn tried contacting the store before posting a review, in case it was a ond off. No response. Go to another California's! My experiencse at the one on Dixie and the one on Winston Churchill has always been great.

We've been to this locations for a few years. We always get good services, pricing is affordable. The cashier is very passionate for her work, providing great customer service.

I’ve been using joe and his catering team for years now! Service is impeccable. From 10-20 person lunch gatherings and meetings to 200 people + construction site events. Catering, serving, not a thing that I need to worry about. I really have no need to go anywhere else, and their catering service goes WAY beyond just sandwiches.

Veal sandwich is epic. Best in the city. Tomato sauce is excellent. The California sandwiches hot peppers are addictive. Bought some for the house and now put them on everything!

Incredible sandwiches! You get SO much more than what you pay for. The homemade house sauce combined with veal cutlet and spicy peppers makes for an amazing lunch. Portions are generous and the sandwiches are made with love Pure perfection! If you haven't tried a cali sandwich do yourself a favour and try one! I guarantee you'll be hooked for life. Absolutely delicious every time!

Always fresh. Always good service. Best rice balls. Best meat balls. Best hot jalapeño pepper topper.
