Cambridge Eye Care

Cambridge Eye Care has incredible doctors. I was nervous to take my daughters for their eye exams as they are quite little. The doctors there were caring, knowledgeable, and patient. They took the time to help my children and I feel comfortable and at ease and made the eye exam fun. Thank you for all that you do!

If it wasn't for the amazing staff and state-of-the-art equipment here I may have lost my eye! A year ago I was thinking I had something in my eye so i decided to get it checked. Little did I know I had a detached retina! Long story short, I had surgery and it was successful. I now have my vision back, thanks to the amazing service I got here at this clinic. I've been a client for well over 6 years and absolutely love every experience here. The staff are lovely, the store is always so clean and the pricing is competitive. They actually care about your eyes.

Since my retina surgery I developed a cataract. Cambridge Eye care directed me to the best doctors and I got my vision rectified. After my surgery I needed to get a new lens for my new eye. I now have one progression lens in my left eye and it is absolutely beautiful. I have my vision back 100% now! Thank you for helping me in the process of giving my eye a second chance of sight.

The office is nice, doctor did do a good exam.
My issue is technicians. I recently went because I stepped on my glasses and the little metal thingie was broken. I went to office was not busy, walk in. The tech that took my glasses to the back came back and told me they could not fix my glasses. They are maybe 3-4 years old. I was told they no longer make my frames. I was discouraged because I got the type with magnets on the top for sunglasses. She did offer to show me new frames, but reminded me lenses would also need to be replaced since my frames were no longer available. She offered to tape them. I have other glasses, so I said no. When I came home I took a closer look and felt like maybe it could be welded. I’m not a tech. I brought them to another place for a second opinion. Within two days a new arm was delivered and the glasses are fixed. When I mentioned the frames weren’t available, they said yes they most definitely are and parts. I am very disappointed, I feel like I was being pushed to purchase new glasses for no reason. Even though the exam resulted in a good prescription, I will not return or recommend this office in the future.

I highly recommend Cambridge Eye Care! They have taken amazing care of me after my laser eye surgery and my whole family is receiving top notch service with their contacts and glasses! The friendly staff goes above and beyond to make everything work out for us as easily as possible! I recently moved away from Cambridge but will keep going back because I know I will not find another optometrist as good as Cambridge Eye Care!

Great clinic with amazing staff. We saw Dr. Hall who was absolutely wonderful and very thorough. Highly recommend this clinic.

Two months ago I got new glasses. This morning I stepped on them. I took them to see if they could be repaired. Was told no, new frame $250 two week delivery and warrantee is void. As I had nothing to lose I stopped at another optician. They looked and said no problem we can fix these. 30 minutes and voila. The optometrist service was five stars but repair interaction only two. Pays to double check.

Dr Alex Farquhar was amazing! I can't say enough good things about our experience with her. I took my 3 year old daughter to her for her first exam and the patience and effort towards making her comfortable did not go unnoticed. My daughter spoke about the experience for the rest of the day telling everyone how "fun" the eye doctor was.
I have also previously seen her for myself and felt that she was the most thorough and knowledgeable Optometrist I have ever been to.
Well done! We will definitely be back.
