My wife and I can't speak highly enough of the care we received from Lise (primary), Pam, and Alexa. They walked with us through the whole pregnancy and delivery, and alongside the hospital team seamlessly. We had almost immediately access to any questions we had throughout, and all three midwives were calming and caring. We especially appreciate all of the time we had with Lise—home visits after baby was born, and then the office too. Many laughs, and great advice and reassurance. Highly recommend this team to anyone giving birth in Waterloo region.

The office overlooks the Grand River, and is tidy, modern and well equipped. So neat to see our child's name up on the "hall of fame. "

I caught my wife discussing very personal things with one of the midwives. The midwife stated "i was very worried about you guys having a baby. "

To which set off some alarms. My wife reluctantly told me that one of the midwives was questioning her why she waited till later on to have kids. Basically pressuring her to discuss some things that my wife did not feel comfortable discussing.

My wife stated she felt pressured to discuss this, since the midwife was poking around.

She also made some very derogatory remarks pertaining to our baby's looks. Baby shaming is one of the worst things you can do.

They always called my wife to see if she can reschedule to fit their needs. More patients, more money.

Stay away from this place. Ratings are high, but is not the case. Most likely fake reviews.

I’m so glad I opted for a midwife for my second pregnancy. It was much more of a personal experience where I was given the time and space to ask questions without feeling like I was being rushed at each appointment. Emily and Pam were wonderful and I’d highly recommend this route over an OB if it’s a viable option.

I had a OB for my first and midwives for second. Wish I had midwives for my first, if we ever have a third definitely have midwives. Pam, Alexa and Lise were amazing. Alexa delivered my surprise girl. She was fantastic even went in depth over my placenta because I asked to see it. She was shocked over how big it was which was funny. I was induced and she was fantastic through the process. Jess was there to assist and she was also fantastic. 10000/10 experience

Made my pregnancy and birth a very pleasant experience, the differences between obgyn care and midwife care are like night and day.

I highly recommend midwife care to anyone who is able to have it! Even if you chose a hospital birth, they make you as comfortable and prepared as possible.

My first child I went with an OB but I have always heard from women their positive experiences with midwives- specifically the midwives at Cambridge Midwives. Once I got pregnant with my second child, I knew that I wanted to experience what it was like to have a midwife. Cambridge Midwives certainly did not disappoint. Whenever I spoke with the receptionist on the phone, she was so nice, professional, on top of things, accommodating, and super helpful. My experience with Jess, Tuesday, and Julia were amazing. I have never felt more at peace, cared for and supported during my pregnancy. They were all super professional, friendly, thorough, helpful, and we’re always there to answer all of my questions with no judgment, and always so supportive no matter what I decided. If I do decide to have another child I will definitely be going back! It was so nice to have the support I did 6 weeks after having my baby and I believed that definitely helped me not go into post partum depression as I did with my first child. Thank you so much Tuesday, Jess and Julia for all the help and support you guys are amazing!

Had a really great experience as a first time mother. I had AnaMaria and Alexa as my widwives and I am thankful to them. Even though my birth didn’t go as I had hoped, they were still there for me the whole way. They are skilled and trained to handle different situations so I felt safe with them every step of the way. They were great support throughout the pregnancy, labour, and postpartum. I would definitely use Cambridge midwives again for my next pregnancy.

For my first child I chose to go with a midwive. Cambridge midwives was the best choice I made for guiding me through this new journey! I couldn't thank them enough.

I chose Cambridge Midwives for my second pregnancy (first pregnancy was with an OB). I wanted to try for a VBAC and felt like I wanted to have an experience where I was more informed about various options for induction, pain management, labouring and pushing positions. My midwife was supportive and not pushy about any options. She made sure I had the information I needed to make choices for myself and my birth. Aftercare was also a better experience being able to see the same provider for baby and mother care for the first 6 weeks and having them come to the home for the first few visits.

Amazing! The team at Cambridge Midwifes have delivered all 4 of my babies! They are flexible (despite me being very stubborn), supportive, friendly, kind, knowledgeable and 100 other amazing things. Don't read any more. Call them and book an appointment!

We chose Cambridge Midwives for our first pregnancy, and we are so glad we did. We had a wonderful experience with Emily and Lise as our midwives. We were given all the information we needed and felt comfortable at each stage of the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care. I have been with Cambridge midwives for 15 years and just had our 8th child under their care! I’ve had every kind of delivery and Cambridge midwives has been there every step of the way. The amazing pre and postnatal care has been phenomenal! They explain everything very clearly and give you all the options to make the best decisions for you and your baby! I wouldn’t want it any other way. The one on one care you get while you're pregnant, during delivery but more importantly, after baby is here, is outstanding! They not only care about your baby but actually care about you as well! They are only a phone call away and are easy to get a hold of, no matter the time of day or night! They never make you feel, like they are in a rush or don't have time for you. THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, for being there for our 8 children!

I can not recommend Cambridge midwives enough! Working with my midwife Lise was amazing! As a first time mom, I was completely lost. Lise was someone I could talk to and confide in about anything during my pregnancy and in the 6 weeks post. She was an absolute rockstar during our deliver I couldn’t imagine giving birth with out her there! It is definitely worth getting a midwife you will not regret it!

I have only LOVE for Cambridge Midwives. Ana Maria and Alexa were my midwife team and I'm so grateful for them. They went out of their way to make sure I was always left informed and comfortable with decisions made. I always felt seen and our visits never felt rushed. It was such a comfort to have them by my side through everything.

The administration was also so incredible. They get back to you so quickly if you reach out via email or voicemail and are always so pleasant and helpful.

My experience with the Cambridge Midwives was outstanding. The level of care was incredible. I was always given information and a choice throughout the whole process of pregnancy - it felt like I had a say in how I wanted things to go. All of the midwives I had the pleasure of meeting were wonderful, especially Emily who was my appointed midwife. The receptionists are so kind and helpful as well.
When it came to labour and delivery, this was truly when Emily was in her element. Every step of the way, I knew I was in good hands. She coached me through everything including how to breathe while I was pushing. I felt strong and capable throughout the toughest stages of labour. This is my last baby, and I’m sad to leave the wonderful team at Cambridge Midwives.

I feel extremely grateful for the birth team I had at Cambridge Midwives. Cathy and Stacey ensured that throughout my pregnancy and particularly the 6 weeks postpartum, I felt extremely supported and reassured as we navigated having a newborn. My partner and I really appreciated how intimate and calm our birth was - thank you Stacey and Emily! We would love to use Cambridge Midwives for our next birth!

As a first time mom, going with a midwife was unforgettable and would recommend this choice.
I had the pleasure to have Corine and Tuesday. Corine delivered my baby and with her strong and confident presences she gave me strength during my labor. She was very verbal and informative with every step that was being taken and what to expect while at the hospital. Tuesday has a relaxed vibe to her that made you calm especially when I brought in my baby for the first time. There was no judgment but a sense a encouragement and praise at every visit. She was very knowledgeable and kind person.
At home visits were a blessing. It was very convenient to stay home and have the midwives come to the comfort of your own home.
I have the utmost respect for both these ladies.

The Cambridge Midwives were exceptional care providers through 3 pregnancies and into the 6 weeks postpartum with each of our healthy and strong girls.
They went above and beyond to ensure we were able to make an informed decision for various aspects of care, that best suited our wants and needs without judgment.
Under their care i have experienced a hospital birth with discharge after 24hrs, a hospital birth with discharge after 3 hours, and a home birth. All 3 were unique experiences, but it was so reassuring to have a team of midwives that you have met, become comfortable with, and whom you trust with not only your care, but of your babys as well.
We are so pleased to have our family completed, but cant help but feel a loss as we have left the care of our midwives for the last time, as they truly feel like family.

My midwives were amazing! I had a student midwife as well who was also outstanding. Great care throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. Even when my plans went out the window they were very compassionate and helped me make the best decisions for me and my baby.

Stacey and Cathy were both so amazing. This was my third baby and my first midwife experience. I would definitely recommend, the amount of comfort and support I received was amazing. Very easy to reach out if I had any questions. They also went over my birthing goals and helped me achieve them during labour with extreme patience. The follow up visits postpartum for baby and myself in home were extremely helpful. The entire pregnancy/ labour/ postpartum I felt like I had a team in my corner looking out for baby and my best interests. I honestly can't thank these two enough!

I had an amazing experience with Cathy & Stacey. I always felt like I was being taken care of above and beyond what I expected. All of my questions were answered, any concerns I had were heard, and I knew that they were very knowledgeable in what they do, having full faith that I was in the right hands. When I had concerns they were right on it, sending me for ultrasounds and stress tests- which caught an issue of high blood pressure causing me to be induced. Cathy was with me through my hectic induction and delivery, doing a great job keeping me calm and informed. I was so happy that I had someone that I knew and trusted going through that experience & it made a world of difference. Stacey came and did my home visits after delivery - helping me to feel confident in my new role as a mom and that I was on the right track. I couldn’t recommend them enough! You guys do such hard, amazing work! Know that you are truly appreciated:)

Cambridge Midwives are amazing. I’m so glad we chose midwives for our prenatal, labour and delivery and postnatal care. Cathy and Stacey were kind, informative and supportive. They were with me through all of the ups and downs, and made me feel so confident with my choices throughout. Cathy and Tuesday were there during labour and delivery, they brought a calm to the room and I never felt overwhelmed even when we ended up with an emergency c-section. Definitely recommend going with Cambridge Midwives!

Used Cambridge midwives for my first pregancy and it was a wonderful experience. They are very informative and are excellent at answering any and all questions you will have. I felt very supported my whole pregancy and the after care was wonderful to have as they come to you for the first few weeks after baby is here. I went to Cambridge Midwives for the care of both of my children. They are amazing. My Midwives were Pam and Ana Maria the first time, and Ana Maria and Alexa the second time. I cannot thank them enough for their wisdom, care, professionalism and availability throughout my pregnancy and postpartum care. I strongly believe the personal care and relationship you have with your midwives is invaluable.

I had an great experience with Cambridge Midwives. Midwives Emily and Lise were a great help to my husband I when our baby arrived 6 weeks early via c-section. They checked-in with us regularly, helped to manage our expectations, answered our questions, and explained the medical jargon and other information we were given by the various OBs and nurses. Being first time parents during a pandemic is nerve wrecking and I am grateful I had their help and guidance to get through my birth and postpartum experience.

Absolutely recommend cambridge Midwives, the entire team are so polite and friendly, Midwives are very knowledgeable and listen to any concerns or questions. I had Tuesday a and Corin, very thankful from them both, had two babies with them in my care!

It was my best decision to choose the Cambridge Midwives to assist me in my pregnancy. As a first time mom, I didn’t know a lot of pregnancy and baby stuff, and they were patient, explained every step and procedures and always took the time to answer my questions. Also, they were available 24/7 and followed up with my baby and I for 6 weeks postpartum. That made all the difference, as I was nervous for the first week with a newborn. I absolutely loved the care, and admire the work they do. Absolutely recommend Cambridge Midwives!

The midwives at Cambridge Midwives were an integral part of both my pregnancies, deliveries and postpartum. I had two extremely different pregnancies and deliveries and felt so supported during both experiences. The midwives are so knowledgable and provide the absolute best care.

Cambridge Midwives helped make my birthing journey amazing! Not only was being pregnant stressful as is, but pregnant in a pandemic brought on its own stress. Everyone was so great and Cathy and Emily are a part of our family now. Always providing answers to my questions and putting me and baby first was always greatly appreciated! We will always remember the amazing support and will certainly be seeing them as our family continues to grow.

We are so very thankful for the excellent care we received at Cambridge Midwives. Their knowledge and expertise was amazing. I felt so confident with them and the help I received with my first pregnancy. I ended up needed OB care due to pregnancy related complications however still remained in close contact and was able to continue with my midwives support. The care I received while pregnant and post-partum was excellent.

My midwife, Lise, provided excellent care throughout! This was my second baby - the first I had in Toronto and the care I received with Cambridge Midwives was better. Appointments are not rushed; the receptionists were all friendly and responded quickly when i would leave a voicemail; the office is nice.

I had an amazing experience with Cambridge midwives during my pregnancy & postpartum period being a first time parent during this pandemic. I had Tuesday & Corine as my care team. Although I didn’t get to them till late in my pregnancy, they never made me feel any less of a family/team. They were both very involved and followed me through & was available for me whenever I needed them. Both of them were very quick to call back for any questions or concerns. There were couple of times they had to come into a conclusion & decide treatment pretty fast, and they both did amazing. I will never forget Corine for the care I received during my emergency C section as I laid helpless on the operating table. I wouldn’t have sailed through my initial postpartum days without help from both of them. Tuesday is very resourceful and has an answer to all your questions. She is very kind, patient, organized, knowledgeable & professional. She will not rush you through & will explain everything till you are clear about your question. Cannot thank Tuesday enough for helping me with my breastfeeding journey & for all the tips & care. I am so grateful to have work with both of them. The office staff (Louisa and Fernanda) is also very friendly & approachable. Even when I had to leave messages with them couple of times, they acted without any delay in forwarding my messages, taking necessary steps and making sure my requirement was met in a fast manner unlike other doctors offices I have to deal with, in the past. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience with Cambridge midwives and highly reccomend them. Thank you so much Cambridge midwives for the amazing experience I had.

My husband and I are so happy we went with midwives instead of an OB. The care we received from our main midwives, Alexa and Ana Maria was extremely impressive. They were so supportive, patient, and encouraging. Alexa, Tuesday and a student midwife (Elise) we’re present for the birth of our son and we couldn’t imagine better care. We felt so informed and that they had our best interests in mind the entire time. When Ana Maria and Elise visited us in our home for postpartum care they felt more like friends than anything, and helped us increase our confidence as new parents. I had an amazing experience with Cambridge Midwives as my Healthcare provider in the birth of my first child. There is so much information out there and I found having Emily's support and guidance helped keep me grounded and informed during my pregnancy. I did not have a super easy and straight forward pregnancy and regardless of all the varying challenges, Emily kept me informed and connected me with resources in the community to help along my journey. I never felt isolated or alone in my questions and concerns and loved how accessible Emily was when I had any pressing issues or worries. I really appreciated how supported I felt and very much loved the after birth home visits that were provided. I would 100% recommend Cambridge midwives and hope to use them again sometime in a future pregnancy. Being pregnant during COVID-19 changed a lot of things but it certainly did not change the support offered by Cambridge Midwives. Thanks for everything!

I am SO thankful for Cambridge Midwives. I transferred here late at 34 weeks pregnant from another office. First met with the most compassionate conversation from Fernanda when I was inquiring about transferring. Then the BEST care from Emily for the rest of my pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. I felt incredibly supported, heard and cared for. Our wishes were respected and Emily made the experience very personal, remembering my daughters name, all my birth wishes and helping advocate for me during a birth that turned out differently than we hoped for. I cannot thank you all enough. THANK YOU Emily! I will be back for baby 2!

I had such an amazing experience with Cambridge Midwives. Cathy, Lise and Grace were a total dream team to work with!

Cathy took care of me for the most part during my pregnancy and delivered our son. She did an incredible job reassuring and educating me throughout my pregnancy, and kept me calm and relaxed during my labour and delivery experience and made sure everything went smooth.

Lise was also so patient and understanding with all of my concerns. Grace was super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful during my postpartum recovery and breastfeeding experience, no doubt she will become an incredible midwife!

Louise and Fernanda were also amazing with speedy communication and keeping things moving.

Long story short the team at CM is amazing and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I had my baby this year and had the assistance with prenatal care and postpartum with Cambridge Midwives! My team was Alexa and Ana Marie and honestly, they were fantastic, supportive and wonderful. I did not have them for my birth as it was complicated with my baby and I had to deliver at Mc Master but I was so relieved to know that although we did not have that experience together, they still provided postpartum care! Alexa came to my house and made me feel safe in this time with COVID. The same is as it was in office; I always felt safe and confident knowing that my baby and I were well cared for. I hope that for my next birth that I will be able to have the midwives again as they always reassured me! I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with the Cambridge Midwives. I had Alexa and Ana Maria for both of my pregnancies. I felt like they went above and beyond to care for us. I felt like I was more than just a patient of theirs, I felt like family. They showed so much love and care for us and I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend the Cambridge Midwives.

I love these ladies. I have had 4 babies with Cambridge Midwives. One was a stillborn and they have been so supportive and accommodating. I have used two different teams, and despite our previous midwives not being there for my last pregnancy, I fell in love with the new teams all over again! They feel like family.

Pam and Wendy were my rocks for 3 pregnancies, deliveries, newborns and postpartum care. We had some major joys and sadness welcoming 2 babies into this world and coping with the lose of one. Cathy was the one who answered the call when we didn't feel movement and despite not knowing her, I really feel as if she was the right person to deliver the news our baby was no longer living. It only felt right to finish our baby journey with Cathy after Wendy and Pam were on leave. She and Lise are an amazing team. Extremely educated women and they each have their own touch and personal style to their practice. They make a great team!

I also had the pleasure of meeting Melanie as a provider and she was also a lovely presence during the delivery and postcare. We did also have a student named Grace, and she was also lovely, experienced and very much a teacher at heart.

Sadly our care is over, but I know that you will find a team that you will love and feel absolutely safe and supported.
