EDIT - I have sent you a request to fulfill the etransfer. Take care of this today. It’s gone on for over a week and it’s frustrating you are being so difficult.

Beaucoup de problèmes avec ce camping. Pas adapté pour les VR de 34 pieds et plus. L’émondage des arbres laisse à désirer. Le sol est instable et humide, les roues s’enfoncent. Le personnel n’est jamais au bureau d’accueil. Le personnel n’est pas courtois. Les chemins sont trop étroits pour les motorisés. Beaucoup de résidents permanents (très désuets). Nous avons changé d’emplacement, le branchement électrique du premier terrain était à moitié arraché. En plus, ce terrain n’était pas assez grand. Jamais nous retournerons à camping. Nous ne le suggérons à personnes.

We spent a long weekend here with two other families and we were all suppose to have a water view site however it was a swamp/ marsh site view. On the good side of that I did catch a great photo opportunity with the swans that seem to stay at this spot!
We had rain which left us to pack up in a lot of ground water, suggest you bring your rubber boots!
Not a lot to do at this camp ground but the surrounding area has some fantastic wineries!
Our hydro was being used by another trailer when we arrived and the owner came and unplugged them to give us our service however this then left the next people who arrived without service. I felt very bad for them and the owners did not seem to fix the issues while we were there.
We made the best of the weekend with our friends but I feel we would not go back at this time.

This is a fun place to stay with your family! ️ I spend lots of time here during the summer and every weekend I’m here I always have fun! Always a friendly environment and the park events brings the community together️ I recommend staying a weekend here! ️ 10/10

This place is really going down hill. My family has been here for a couple of years now and it's never been very good but this year has been very very bad. The park has not had running water for weeks, basically all summer long. My family cannot shower or flush the toilet. When i asked the owner about the water problem i was told to mind my own business. I'm not even sure how this place can stay open without running water. I'm not sure where our seasonal fees go since nothing is ever fixed at this dump.

If you don't mind going to the bathroom on other peoples stuff because of the constant lack of water then book Camp Barcovan. If you don't mind paying a dollar for zero water coming out of a shower then book Camp Barcovan. But the owners and management are super nice

Edit: While I agree with the owner's comment of "act of god" we are all aware that the amount of rain in the summer is changing. This will likely not be any different in the future. Either on busy weekends during a drought a water truck could be brought in, porta potties placed in front of the bathrooms, reservations canceled or a deeper well dug. I feel terrible for the poor soul who had to repeatedly empty the toilets. I appreciate the quick response to my comment, just wish there was equally a quick response to the toilet situation.

Good - friendly family run park, nice clean pool, friendly seasonal cottage owners and quiet. Bad - water front = "marsh", no lake swimming unless you have a boat (no rentals there), tight camping everywhere, water pressure so low on weekends toilets DO NOT FLUSH, shower cost money, but no water so. We made the best of it, but treating flush toilets like outhouses is wild. Can see this places potential, but we would not go back.

This place is trash. The owners Jerry and Elizabeth are unstable drunks. They drive around drunk in their golf carts (WATCH OUT IF YOU HAVE SMALL KIDS!). The park has a HUGE Septic problem that literally causes septic sewage to spill onto the field where the children play. Someone from the park FINALLY called the health department because this issue has been ongoing for YEARS yet Jerry and Elizabeth didn't fix it. Once the inspectors came out the owners went on a rampage to find out who called the health department INSTEAD of just putting their efforts into ACTUALLY fixing the septic problem. The kids playground is completely unsafe and run down yet no effort has been made to improve it for the kids. Jerry and Elizabeth have no respect for any of the seasonal campers, they are rude, racist and irrational. Camp Barcovan has a cold pool, literally no other amenities 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMENDED

My family camped here recently and it wasn't a very pleasant experience to say the least. The lady lender was so rude when we tried to speak to her about the "cottage" we rented. It was not clean at all. The floors and counters were sticky, and the bathroom was definitely not cleaned before we arrived. The air conditioner was not working. When we approached the owner (Elizabeth is her name, I think) she started yelling and being so disrespectful to my husband and I, so we just packed up our kids and left. I wouldn't ever recommend this place to anyone. When I asked for a refund because the place didn't meet minimum standards the lady went off screaming and became very verbally abusive. Such a horrible experience for our family vacation.

Owners are some of the greatest and nicest unfortunately the seasonal campers treat transit campers horrible. Walking/driving through your site kids run wild all hours, Will not return shame beautiful area

Weird people! No amenities. Packed with people literally sitting 10 feet from each other. Confusing map. Only 1 washroom in the entire camp. No drinking water and had to wait till morning to buy one. Not worth visiting

Beautiful campground with clean grounds, nice amenities (playground, soccer pitch, volleyball and basketball courts, dog park), and very friendly, supportive owners. Camp sites are very small/ tight. Otherwise, great place to camp.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating, beautiful campground with a wonderful view of Lake Ontario. Can't wait to be back with friends family for a great time!

I can't think about my youth and summer time w/o remembering Camp Barcovan. There was a building near the lake's edge right next to the well pump that had Northern Pike heads covering the exterior wall that was amazing to eager young fishermen & women. This was in the late 60's to late 70's. I caught my 1st perch on one of the docks, my 1st Pike before my 10th b-day. I always have said we need to go back. Camp Barcoven has changed ownership, but the photos via their website show that its still the best place on Wellers Bay to camp & fish.

Drove down to view site. I had some concerns but I told nephew I would talk about it with my husband. The next day I called back and the owner answered then hung up on me. I called back and left voicemail. No call back so i called again and she hung up on me again. I would not rent from them. They are awful and if this is how you treat potential clients then you shouldn't be at a park. No customer service at all.

We were on a group cycling trip, Toronto to Montreal. Barcovan was very accommodating and helpful, especially when a thunderstorm came in.

Friendly management and lovely water! Would recommend! Very clean. Looking forward to going back.
