Camp Cookstown

Camp Cookstown is a big dog paradise! I have so much trust in this place that I drive over 2 hours for their overnight service. The exceptional customer service ensures a reliable and solid experience. Previously, with a small teacup dog, I was a protective momma bear and I didn’t trust anyone to babysit him, but after my big boy came into my life, Camp Cookstown impressed me with systems that keep him safe and give him ample space to enjoy doggy camp. He LOVES CC! I'm so confident in their care that I can now travel to isolated places with no cell service for days, knowing he's in good hands. Recently, I forgot to mention that my dog developed an anti-eating routine, the staff noticed and went above and beyond by sitting with him until he ate every morning (my dog has never been food driven, just dramatic for attention). I love this place and will enthusiastically recommend it to anyone with a dog. Thank you for providing such exceptional service!

From the first visit we had at Camp Cookstown I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with them. The staff there explain everything in detail, and answer any questions that you may have. I love that they post pics of the dogs on social media throughout their stay, it gave me peace of mind knowing he was having a blast. We will definitely be back!

Definitely recommend Camp Cookstown. Took great care of our pup, kept us updated, and posted pics online to keep us updated on her having fun.

Meet and greet was well supervised. The overnight stay seemed to go well considering out poodle is a bit older (9 yrs). The “camp counsellors” were attentive to his needs for rest and breaks.

Thanks for all you did to take care of our boy. We’ll be back again someday soon.

It was Indy's first time here and at a sleep over day care, and she absolutely loved it!

All the staff were extremely professional and caring for our puppy. They took the time to lisiten to her feeding needs, and did everything possible to make her stay a great time. Indy even got a brushing and her nails done!

Most importantly, they took care of her and she came home happy and healthy! Indy will definitely be going back both for day car and overnight stays when needed!

Samson has been staying with Camp Cookstown for many years. The young ladies that look after the dogs are outstanding, friendly, genuinely caring and our pooch really seems happy to go there. I would highly recommend this business if you love your 4 legged family members.

Normally an anxious dog, we were thrilled to see how happy Sherlock was at Camp Cookstown. He was full of energy when playing and not is he exhausted now that he is home

It was my dog‘s first experience at a day camp. The team at Cooktown is excellent and helped my dogs feel comfortable and safe. I will continue to take my dogs there more often. I found it a very safe, clean and caring camp.

The staff are incredible! So kind, patient and informative. The barn and property are beautiful! I have had nothing but a great experience & I highly recommend Camp Cookstown. My dog won’t be going anywhere else! A happy dog is a tired dog.

I really want to thank camp Cookstown for their amazing card for my pup! She is an Aussie and being high energy I needed a camp that meets her needs and this place is it! They treat all the dogs so well - and she comes home so tired. And the workers are always so so friendly!

Have been going to Camp Cookstown for several years; the staff are amazing…. Caring and engaging. The set-up of an open / free roam environment is fantastic. I highly recommend this wonderful trustworthy facility for your fur baby!

Truly the best place for your dog and peace of mind for dog owners. Our dog has the greatest experience at Camp. The staff is so nice and pay so much attention to all dogs. In our opinion (mine and my dog's) there is no better place than Camp Cookstown.

I have been bringing my dog to camp Cookstown for 2 years now anytime I travel. Camp Cookstown is the only place I trust to leave my dog overnight. They accommodate her quirky eating habits, monitor her for when she needs to rest, and share timely updates during her visit. She always comes home happy and tired (and clean!) thanks to the spa service. Would highly recommend camp to anyone interested in overnight boarding.

What a lovely place for dog boarding. We recently boarded our dog Teddy for 3 nights. He came home happy and exhausted from all the play time with his new friends. So much space for them to run and play. The staff and facility are amazing. I highly recommend Camp Cookstown.

We have 2 Labs and they had the best 6 days at camp cookstown. This is the only place that I trust for my dogs to stay over night. The staff was amazing every time I emailed to check in the response was quick.

Worry free camp to leave your babies. My girls love it and get so excited when they realize they are going to camp. Lots of love and play for them.

Staff are very friendly and are always welcoming. My dog loves going there and always comes home happy and tired!
