Campbellford Home Hardware

I used to shop at this store quite regularly. This week I went into make purchase and needed to use the ladies room, only to find that both the washrooms have signs stating employees only. This area has a large population of retired individuals. I was very angry that they would send their customer to another store to use their washroom and then come back to make your purchase from them. Needless to say I will not be visiting this location again. I really felt like I was bothering the staff member by asking about the use of the restroom.

The lady associates are wonderful, but the male associates are horrid, especially if you are female, they are Kurt, unhelpful and worst customer service on the planet

Bobby laundry is an absolute goof and should be fired on the spot he has made that store go downhill

Helpful staff. Always good advice. Have everything you want or need in a hardware store. If not they order for you.

Went in for 3 items in sales flyer. The staff were very help full in ordering the items for me as they didn't have the items in the store.

Campbellford, Trenthills Home Hardware store has always been very, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable folks. We are a very lucky community.

Spent a bunch of money here during the build of my house, was mostly satisfied with the service. Until covid when the old guy at the front door was forcing people to wash their hands with green stuff in an unlabeled container. Indicated I had my own santizer, wouldn't take that as an answer. Left plans for materials for a $6k deck build, never received a call back. Screw this place. Rona in Trenton hands down the best customer service I will be going there from now on.

Called to see if they have lumber as we are new to the area. Said yes. Website says open to 8pm on Fridays and so does sign on door. Got there at 625pm only to find the place locked up. What a wasted trip. Would rather stay local but hard to do when you get this kind of service.

There manager Bobby is a total goof. I do not recommend this place to lnow one. Rude, and ignorant.

The manager should be fired. He doesn't know how to manage or be a decent human being. There are multiple complaints and incidents reported concerning his behaviour. If he has no qualms about treating customers like trash, I feel sorry for the employees. I recommend going to the Stirling Home Hardware until the owner at Campbellford either smartens up and replaces the current manager, or at the very least pays for some basic management courses.

If I could give this less than a 1 star, I would. I was in this location last week with my parents. We specifically went in for one of the items in the flyer. As there were none left on the shelf in the spot allocated for that particular product (very bottom shelf), we asked an older man working the paint counter if he knew if there were any left. We could clearly see he was busy, so he asked what was clearly the manager/owner of the store. He at first told the employee, and I quote "so help them". Then after the employee stated he was busy with another customer, the manager took my dad, who is 73 years old, to the aisle and rudely asked him, did you even look for the product? Seriously? This is your business, your livelihood. As customers, we assist in paying your salary. He's very lucky i was told i wasnt allowed to say anything and to just leave it alone. Do NOT EVER speak to a customer like that

Shopped there two times over last few days based on job site location. Same gentleman both days was working and one cashier. Hands down worst attitude I've experienced from an employee. He was rude, short and made me feel dumb for asking for help on both visits. Definitely won't be shopping here. Need to be more approachable and welcoming. I thought you wanted people to shop there lol. On that note, I love home hardware. Just not this location.

I ordered something way over a week ago long time I still haven't received it worse service ever

Getting better with staff attitude! Product and prices are great. More work needs to be done for floor staff and cashiers.
