Horrible people to deal with. They completely ripped me off and screwed everything up with the purchase. Salesman sold us a different trailer then what we picked out. It is a downgrade, $6000 more. The Grand River line, at least the one I received, are absolutely garbage and very low grade. This trailer came damaged, missing parts, walls falling apart, USB/electrical shorting out, horrible layout and to top off the overpriced, low quality of their product, the Salesman completely screwed up the repayment process and has created a horrific mess! DO NOT buy from CampMart if you want to be happy with your purchase and if you want quality! Terrible product, price and an absolutely pathetic sales team.

I went there a couple years ago for an RV show and was impressed, but just looking. Went back recently to get a price on an RV that I had seen online and after 30 minutes of looking at RVs we didn't want, we spent 2.5 hours in the office being pressured to purchase an RV right on the spot. Upon our first meeting we made it clear we wanted a price only and to look at the RVs on site. The sales rep didn't even ask for a name before asking for a driver's license, despite knowing that we had no intention of buying that day. After 2 hours in the office, I had to tell the sales guy to get "the manager" off the phone with bank because I just wanted the total price of the RV and specs so I could go home and make sure the price fit in my budget and the RV fit my seasonalspot. Instead, I was offered 30-60 more minutes to sit and chat about with my husband in the office but was told under no circumstances could I go home if I wanted to pay $99/week + tax for an RV I hadn't seen or asked about. I was told I could just sign the papers and then go home and call him back if I changed my mind. I said no politely about a zillion times before I said "I am not signing anything today, I don't know how to be more clear", and when that still didn't get us the specs we just had to walk out. The sales rep had to chase us out because we left the driver's license behind- so thank you for that - but again used that moment to continue the pressure, saying his manager wanted to talk with us and we could ask for extra T. V.s. All I wanted was a printout of the RV specs and price. 3 hours later I left upset, disappointed and a CampMart detractor vs customer.
On the plus side the sales rep (who actually sells their cars not RVs) was friendly and persistent I'll give him that. They weren't rude they just didn't listen to us at all, wasted everyone's time and lost a customer. I purchased my RV from elsewhere and won't be back to or recommend CampMart.

We went in to see an R/V that they had on there website but when we got there they said they had sold it and the website had not been updated lately. I was disappointed.

Just purchased our first trailer every at Campmart RV Peterborough. The staff was exceptional. We were greeted with smiles and helpful staff the minute we walked in. Moe and his amazing team made sure we were sure of our decision before following through. They pulled out all the stops. I would definitely recommend this location. We couldn’t be happier!

The man who met me at the gate was very nice but then he gave me to a young man who was rude to the first man we met and was pushy and sleazy right off the bat. For this we decided to leave and shop elsewhere.

Hello everyone who reads this review. Sometimes individuals needs to write reviews based on experience with customer service. Customer service is the livelihood of one's business, or a company. Not to mention that without (we) the customers there would be no jobs for (us) or you.
So after a year and half, I thank you Moe (General manager) at CampMart RV on fulfilling your promise on making sure that you would get the recalled regulator for my 2020 Starcraft trailer. Repairs have been done.so looking forward to this season camping, a place where one can enjoy the quiet of Mother Nature

Our experience with a salesman named Mo at this location was so bad it was surreal. This guy was truly a caricature of a sleazy used car salesman. He scoffed at our budget, told us we wouldn't find any trailers within our means, stayed outside the trailers he showed us without saying a word, and couldn't answer any of our questions about the units we looked at.

When we showed the slightest bit of interest in the third trailer we looked at, Mo tried to bully us into buying it by offering us a $12,000 discount and then acting like we were idiots for not buying the unit right then and there. A unit we had only seen for 3 minutes, and he hadn't explained anything about. Mo had lines like, "You're getting twelve thousand off, what's there to possibly think about? ", and, "I can really only help you on this today, after that it's going to have to be regular price".

The high pressure sales techniques employed by Mo were cartoonish. My wife and I got in the car, laughed about it, and agreed we could never buy a trailer here.

Bought our first RV and we were lucky to end up with at this dealership.zan was honest in helping and advising us to make right choice for our needs. They were very prompt in helping us to buy and arrange financing.

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They took their time to show us some trailers. All their trailers are 2021 and 2022, and are a little too pricey. If you're willing to spend the money then this place is for you.

We went to Campmart in Barrie. We told them I already had a trailer that I was financing and may use it on a trade in. They told me they could find out what was owing on it for me I already knew how much was owing. They offered really low for the trade in value. Told them to do the new trailer under my boyfriend name because his credit is better then mine. They ran a credit check on me twice and on him twice. Lied to me and said they only ran it once, I have a credit alert that sends me notice when my credit is checked and tells me who checked it. I received two alerts and both were campmart.
They say 100% guaranteed approval what they don't tell you that applies to used trailers so.if you don't qualify for the new trailer you went to get they will give you a used. I have found other trailer sales places cheaper then campmart. Shop around and do not let them run a credit check twice on you. I have heard this so many times about this place but i still went and yes it is true they do it and it damages your credit. BE VERY CAREFUL

After 5pm if you wanna buy a part you can't, but they will sell you a trailer after 5pm if you want seems kinda dumb.

Just picked up my brand new Grand River trailer from Ash at Campmart. This is our first time camping and Ash took his time going through options with me and my family until we found the right fit. If you want a great experience go pay these guys a visit.

Was stuck today as we lost the hand crank to put up our pop up trailer.not much of a vacation if you cant getin the camper.stopped in to hopefully find one here and the two guys were such a huge help.went and found me a used one and send us on our way to enjoy our vacation. Dealt first with Steve and he was great with showing us around during our first visit. When Steve was unavailable we were told to talk to Ash so we did. He was very prompt with returning my phone calls and was so honest. When it was time to finalize our sale we wanted to have another look at our trailer and a couple others and Ash was so patient and friendly with answering all our questions and concerns. Overall it was such a good experience. Ash was honest about everything and we would highly recommend Ash and the Campmart team to anyone who is considering a trailer. We are so excited and cannot wait to go camping in our new trailer! Thanks again Campmart!

I felt bad for the seller because he was given a crazy load of keys and had to go threw them all to find the right one to open the trailer up on a very cold day As well the slide weren't even open to really see how big the trailer was in side so as for showing it should be set up alot better for the Clint as well the Seller but he was a very nice to talk to and very informative.

I would never recommend CampMart RV Peterborough to anyone after our experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Prior to signing any contracts or agreements of purchase we specifically asked Steve the salesperson if they delivered and did the set up to our site as we are not comfortable nor do we have skills to pull a 32 ft trailer and place it on the site.he said yes they did deliver but did not do the set up, we asked the cost to do so and he said with in 150 Km they would deliver it to our site for free. He also told us it would be about 2 - 2 1/2 for delivery. So we went ahead with this. After all was signed and paid for we get a call saying they would deliver in July. 3 1/2 weeks after purchase. I called Steve to complain about this and he simply said thats just the way it is PDI takes time (not what the girl who called told me she said it was d/t them being busy and short staffed) and then Steve rudely said I'm on a delivery I'll call you back, he never did. I called the admin office in Cambridge and complained, suddenly the delivery date was moved up within the 2 week time frame we had been told prior to sealing the deal. We arrive on site 1/2 hour prior to delivery time which was scheduled between 11-12 at 12: 13 I call campmart to be told they'd be there soon at 1: 15 the owner of the park tells us that the trailer was dumped at the park office and the driver forced a 17 yr old girl working in the store to sign for it, he refused to wait for the park owner who was 3 sites away. The driver also told the young girl in the campground office he was at our site and we weren't there which was an outright lie as we had been there waiting from 10: 30 am again 1/2 hour prior to earliest expected delivery time. Upon calling Campmart and speaking to Kevin we were told it was our responsibility to move it onto our site.we were never told that prior to the sale when we asked, we nor the campground owners had the means to move this trailer (2 other trailers were delivered that morning by other compainies and placed right on the peoples site and set up to boot). It took hours of calling to finally even get put thru to head office who did contact PTBO location and had Kevin head of service call me, to arrange for someone to come out and move the trailer onto the site this was now about 3pm, we also informed him that the set up kit for sewer and water were also missing, Kevin said he'd also send those. Kevin also tried to tell us that it is Campmarts custom to deliver to the park gates only and they do not directly to the site. By 6: 30 pm no one had arrived, one of the transient campers felt sorry for us and took it upon themselves to move our trailer onto our site and show us how to do all the leveling, at 7: 30 pm just as these lovely people finished helping us do this, a guy from the Ottawa location showed up.to Kevins credit he did send up the starter kit and as some sort of compensation 2 camp chairs (I'm sorry but 2 camp chairs did not and does not cover this debacle) If they had been honest with us from the start and told us they only deliver to the gates and then we had to move it onto the site ourselves which I think is BS as there is another Campmart Trailer here from another location that was delivered right to the site, we could have hired our own driver and had here much sooner and they would have done a complete set up. We were finally in the trailer and settled by 9: 30 pm the night of delivery which was a Thursday when we discovered the door closing off the bunkroom was broken. I called Friday, emailed several times with no response. I called again Monday left a msg with Kevin no return call, called again Tuesday spoke to PTBO location to be told they are not servicing trailers until at least October by that time the campground will be closed and there will be no access to our trailer. Also not told warranties to the tune of almost $10,000 were optional, they deny this and refuse to cancel these warranties. SCAMMERS

Bought a used trailer from camp mart last year and was promised the world from our salesman Steve but he delivered on none of them. Worst salesman I have ever deal with. THANK GOD for the manager Kevin Hill. After complaining to him, he set things straight and gave me the realistic answers I should have received from the salesman. Kevin delivered on his promises and is the only reason I gave them 5 stars. It would have been 0 stars if not for Kevin. (i still had to go through the hassle of complaining to the manager and being lied to by the salesman) Kevin renewed my faith in camp mart. I wish the salesman had higher ethics and morals such as the manager has. Thank you again Kevin.

My husband and myself went looking for trailer and got ome. We were very patient, kind and worked with us (had our 5 week old with us) i would definetly reccomend going there. They always had a smike on there faces and offered us cold watet on such a hot day. Seriously amazing!

Terrible service. Booked an appointment to see a trailer and got there and they didnt actually have one on site. They also had a group of people show up with out an appointment and took them in before me and my family. Would NOT recommend camp mart to anyone and they will never see my business. If I could give them a minus star rating I would.

I am extremely satisfied with Camp mart. Not only did they fix any issues i had with my trailer the next day. They went out of there way to repair the corner of my trailer where i had damaged it due to my errorin turning to tight.

Thank you Steve and Kevin for such an amazing experience! I can't wait to pick up our trailer in the next 2 weeks!

Have been dealing with Steve at the Peterborough location. Steve is extremely responsive and on the ball. Very thorough and ready to answer any questions. Has sent numerous photos and videos to get us into to the perfect trailer that meets our needs and budget. I highly recommend dealing with Steve.

Got a car through 401, was pressured into it as I was told I had no other option (my car at the time that I was trading in was awful) ended up with a damaged 2012 Kia soul. The car was not on site but saw what I thought were pictures of the actual car and it looked to be in great shape! Took for ever to get the deal finalized, car was poorly detailed when picked up. Upon arriving home my father came down to look at it and realized that the car had damage that I myself wouldnt have noticed as I was just wanting to get home (dark and getting late). My dad told me to call 401 and tell them that this situation wasnt acceptable and something needed to be done. I was told that there was nothing they could do because there were 0 accidents reported on the vehicle and that as long as the vehicles pass safety, they were allowed to leave the lot. They were not willing to fix the issue. I was also promised that after 1 year of having the Kia, that I could trade it in with no hassle and that my credit rating will drop to half of what I'm paying now! So it been over a year and 401 says they cant help me, now I've been buried into this car that was damaged and over priced! No one else will even touch me with what's left owing! I've been told by NUMEROUS car dealers that I was ripped off and that 401 should be ashamed of themselves. Not recommended

Inventory and pricing on website does not match what is on the lot.
Went to look at a couple of new models listed online only to find out they had been sold out of those for sometime. Asked if we could see something similar only to be driven in the golf cart to see 3 models by a salesman that I would at best describe as apathetic. I got the feeling we were an inconvenience. Models we saw were priced higher than prices listed online.
Still waiting on a call with the trade in value for our existing trailer.

The right sales rep willing to make a good end-of-season deal would have made a sale that day. Instead it was just a waste of time for all involved.
Would think twice before making a trip there.

I purchased my first car from here. I LOVE my car. It runs great! Looks great and when I had an issue with something that was supposed to be fixed prior to taking it home, I called and they were ON IT! 2 days after my call my car was in getting repairs done. Couldn't be happier with the service. Thanks Melissa, Raymond and Brad for everything you guys did to make my first "Adult" purchase an amazing experience.
