Went above and beyond to help me. They saw me right when they could of easily taken things on service and charged me. The last three visits have convinced me they have really up'd their game on knowledge and service. Happy to buy my tech here. Years ago, I was not keen to shop at Canada Computers. Whatever has changed, keep doing it!

Went to the service desk, the man was not friendly, did not look at my laptop and just he was really busy and couldn't even look at it for at least 7 days. What a waste of time and misrepresentation of a desk named "service"

Super helpful staff. I was about to buy a multi-meter for testing my home outlets when self-installing them, and they recommended a product at some other store. They didn't need to, and could have just gone ahead and scanned the multi-meter, but they looked out for me.

Had an excellent experience with both the sales and service department here today. I had an issue troubleshooting a build with parts I bought this morning and they went above and beyond to help me fix the problem (which was an error on my part in the end). Big thanks to Jas in the service department for helping me out on a busy day.

The store is spacious and filled with technology. Everybody there is absolutely wonderful, and they all are very knowledgable. I plan to come here to purchase a PC once I save up enough, and the young man at the front desk was kind enough to show us different models and work with us to find what would work for my needs and our budget. Absolutely amazing place to go looking for anything you need tech-wise.

Customer service is not easy. Wages in large swaths of the retail sector are underwhelming.

However, training and personal initiative should ensure, at least, average service for shoppers. My experience in this regard today was distinctly, "meh. "

On the plus side, Canada Computers seems to have a good choice of products and brands.

Rather annoyed that after placing an order online and getting no response, and thankfully being nearby to go and check at the store, to be told that their inventory levels are just incorrect, with little interest in caring about it. I'll likely go to other locations after today. If management would like more clarity in this, please let me know how to reach someone.

They always have the products I need. They are always fair priced. The staff are knowledgeable and do a good job to ensure you get the products you need.

I went in today with only 10 minutes before I had to leave and a list of PC components I needed. Steve is the name on the receipt, he was in a red shirt. He had me checked out with everything I needed and loaded in my car in 6 minutes. This is customer service

Bought laptop there. Been about 2 weeks. No phone call nothing from them as to what is happening. Never canceled either. Went in They lost it In the computer. No record of it. So make dure you take a pic of the receipt.

I do my PC hardware @ canada computers. I've been to this store twice and both times I got good service. I like CC stores because CC has good selection of hardware, a lot of ITX cases. Please more Noctua products to your stores please. Noctua has the best coolers.

The staff here know what they are doing and are helpful. I went in for a corporate order and had an issue with the order, the gentleman I was working with was able to get it fixed in a timely manner and I was able to get the products.

What you get here is local access to a large variety of computer related items and components. The prices are competitive, but the return policy reflects smaller stores. Still I'd choose the better prices over no hassle no fee returns.

Had some issues with swapping cases and the pc wouldn't turn on. I tried absolutely everything i know to check with no luck. Was having a heart attack thinking i messed up and maybe shorted something. Brought it in to the service/repair person around 2pm sunday to find out it was just a faulty case and had to buy a new one. We put everything in the new case and it worked like a charm no issues at all. Thanks for the help!

One of the best store retail experiences I’ve had in my life. Bought a 3070ti but had problems with it so I decided to return it. I wasn’t in the best mood as I’ve been wanting to get a 30 series card only to get a defect model in the end. I think I was greeted by the manager, anyways after asking for a refund, he and his team initiated the verification process to determine if the card is faulty. I was told that the process would take around 5 min so I looked around for some parts in the meanwhile. After the allotted waiting time, the manager notified me that the gpu was a defect and that a refund can be processed right away which I did ultimately.

Anyways what made my experience one of the best is not because I got the refund in the end but because of the professionalism and great interpersonal skills of the manager and his top knowledge in PC parts. Usually I would just go in and out of stores but having an expert give you excellent insights and recommendations while talking in a friendly and easy to understand manner made me interested in the conversation to learn more!

I entered the store looking for a refund but left with more than that. I went home with expert knowledge and insights, and a deep respect for retail staff who go above and beyond! Keep it up Cambridge branch!

They have lots of computers stuff. You can build your own PC, many gaming options. The person I dealt with was just great, Evan I think his name was. Really helped me with my hard drive issue, gave me my space not a pushy sales person. Will be shopping their again.

I purchased a PSU, after setup and around two hours of use the power on my PC cycled abruptly and I could smell burning plastic coming from the unit. I attempted to return it a day after it was purchased but was refused after they tested the unit themselves and concluded that it was working appropriately. The staff followed their company policy and I don't fault them for it, however thanks to Canada Computers near criminal return policy I am now stuck with a $200 component I could not ethically sell to anyone else in fear of burning their home down. I am certainly not installing it in my PC which has been working perfectly since I bought a PSU from another company.

A very well organized location with lots of items on display to help with making a purchase. I was impressed with sales staff, Ben in particular was able to make a recommendation for a model I didn't consider and have been very impressed with.

This review applies to all CC. This just happens to be the store I had to deal with. On Amazon I can buy something and it might arrive next day. If I have a problem I can cancel my order or return it free of charge - no questions asked. No big deal. Not the case with CC. Placed an order online.no status change for days. Go to store and pick up myself. Try to cancel the online order via website - doesn't work. Try to email CC to cancel it - doesn't work. Try to reject the shipment at my door - doesn't work. Support says return it to store then. Bring it to store - don't get a full refund. They keep a few bucks. Had to go to store twice and lose 2 hours of my time plus time dealing with support and site, and still lose money. If I had dealt with Amazon, never would have dealt with ANY of these problems. Sorry but I can't let that go. Here is a 1 star review that represents my frustration with CC's service. So much time wasted, hoops jumped through, and then robbed of some of my money on top of it. Just to add insult to injury I was looking to order another product in store and after some time trying to research whether the product would work for my application the employee who was assisting me just walked away. I guess he just decided he was done with me and went back to chit chatting with the other 2 employees not doing anything waiting for their shifts to end. Just. Utter frustration with the entire experience - consistently bad.

Is a busy place during black Friday. Wish they had a few more staff, but they were very helpful and attentive with any questions I had. Stock is to be expected during these times, but they do what they can.

I've shopped at several Canada Computers locations and have found them all to be well stocked and have reasonable prices. However, they all seem to have the same problem of requiring the customer to be assertive in trying to get any assistance. I was looking to buy a hard drive and searched the store without luck. I found an employee who just told me which area to search in. I eventually discovered that they were located in an area where customers couldn't access. I don't want pushy sales people but perhaps some support would be nice.

From my experience I've found it difficult to find staff willing to help. I've always had to go up to someone, and when I do they seem reluctant to assist.

Great store. Helpful staff got me a hard to get component at a good price pre-ordered. Inventory is low like most stores now but they help accommodate you as best they can.

I spoke to a young lady on the phone and also in person in the store - her name was DESTINY. She was very helpful, very patient and she had superb customer service skills all the way around! I hope management is paying attention to that and treats her well. She certainly deserves it!

Helpful staff and friendly as well. Huge issue with products, even if they have the beeper tag on, some are returned items from previous customers that haven't been cleaned or re-packed to look the part of a new item.

Canada Computers is the absolute best brick and mortar store for computer parts as well as having very knowledgeable staff, competitive prices and the newest products. They often have sales so keep and eye open for some of the best deals out there.

Terrible store. Sells stock directly to scalpers + Own employees. Employees are really rude as well they just seemed like they didn't care and wanted to go home. Save yourself the time and go to another one

I think I got the last for my make/model but with high yield, I should be good for printing all those tax forms. ;) Necessary? Yes! Almost as essential as keeping Amazon out of my hallways

Wife bought a refurbished Nitro 5 laptop end of April 2020. Put about 30 hours on the computer before I bought her an iPad for her design work. Shelved it until two weeks ago. Screen won’t come on after the ACER logo. Tried to YouTube fix it. Nothing. Brought back to store.

“Did you buy the extended warranty? ”
“No. But it’s only 6 months old”
“Sorry, can’t help you. Send it to ACER”

Sent to ACER. Got a reply back that there’s WATER DAMAGE. ACER says they won’t repair it but will replace it for $1400.00. This thing stayed in her locked office. No way.

So. Canada Computers “refurbished” a water damaged laptop, sold it to my wife and now 6 months it’s a $1400.00 paperweight.

Thanks CC. Might as well shop at Bestbuy for the support I received from you. So disappointed.

Excellent customer service from the whole team, but a special shout-out to Josh. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable, making sure I had what I needed to run the graphics card I bought.

I will be coming back to this location when I next need a component upgrade.

I made a reservation online and during this high demand for RTX 3080s. I had one on hold and unfortunately I had a family situation which I could not make it but they still made the effort on calling me to see if I still wanted it. If I'm not mistaken that guy's name was Jason and I appreciate him making the calls. I just wish I could have made it in to grab the graphics card.

Mathew has one of the best customer service I ever seen. His knowledge, Smartness, Passion, and Personalty is incredible. I was there to buy a Custom Build PC that I am going to be building. Mathew helped me pick all the parts, he has all the knowledge and information on every single Component that I picked. Thank you so much Mathew again, you are the best!

A very large store that felt empty.
I'm not sure if their inventory is a reflection of the pandemic as I hadn't visited this location prior, but compared to the feel you get in the waterloo store it felt very under utilized.
I'll check it out again afterwards though.

Prompt service and very nice staff. I had placed an order for pickup and it was a flawless pick up, though there are no signs to indicate where you should go to pick things up.
Covid restrictions seemed to be taken seriously, as masks were mandatory and there was hand sanitizer near the door.
Though I would have loved to stay longer and pick their brains about my build, I hope to get a chance to do so after the pandemic clears up!

Bought something and tried to return it, because it was opened they wouldn't take it back,
First and last time I purchase anything from there, guy says it's on the receipt, who reads the receipt.
Waiting for head office to answer the phone, be on hold for 20 minutes now, must have only 1 employee or alot of complaints.

I went to the store and waited there to be served by sales associates. Staff seemed unorganized and had no intentions to greet the customer. I ended up leaving the store since nobody was interested to take the business I guess.

Just left after my first visit to the store and first Black Friday shopping experience. I was so impressed by how organized the staff were during these times. You walk in, you wait in a socially distanced line until an attendant meets you to escort you around the store. Having absolutely no idea where my item was, I was so thankful for that personal attention and assistance. I was in and out of the store in 20 minutes! Everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. Shout out to Destiny and Matthew, and that nice man who met me at the door! We will be back!:)

The sales person at the cambridge pushed my sale told me the video card I needed for my computer he recommended to get a better card than what I wanted so I spend the extra money trusting that it would work in my computer. As he told me it would. I don't know much about computers. So I trusted him. I ly to find out it is not compatible with my computer. I took to my computer technician and the card is not compatible with my computer.so I took the card back and they Wil not exchange even if I spend more money they told me. I am stuck with this card that doesn't fit computer. Then they blame it on my power supply and tell me I need a higher power supply I have 750 watts my tech told me that was more than enough so they soak me for a video card then try to soak me for a more expensive power supply. This is the worse store ever I have heard of suggestive selling but actually lying to the customer to make sales is the lowest form of sell g buyer beware of this store. Is a money scam here and the customer return agent in b the cambridge store Ryan was very ignorant and non compliant. I'll be sure to make complaints on instagram Facebook Twitter and many other media sor es you have not heard the last of me. Scamming senior customers

As much as I usually love canada computers, I have to say try and buy any items else where at this time. Their policy change for refunds and exchanges is ridiculous, and usually leave you on the hook if you have any issues. If you encounter a defective item or something that does not work out (i.e. Incorrect sizing), you cannot get a refund unlike other stores. If its defective they may exchange, but even this is hard due to costs/stock.

Horrible service. Called about a product on low stock, was told they would hold it and even gave them a time and drove an hour to go grab it and they tell me on arriving that it just got sold. Why even bother saying you'll hold it, just save me the trip. Awful
