Unbelievably rude, unprofessional staff by far the worst customer experience I've ever had and will not be back to any of your locations due to this. Also will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place.

Very knowledgeable sales staff. Great technical capacity. I spoke to Christopher who was very helpful. Instead of a $600 laptop I've got a Solid State drive for my older laptop. Much less $$.

Staff are helpful and polite and it has a good selection considering the size and location (right downtown). I have purchased a Television and two computer monitors from this store at reasonable prices and with no complaints.

Well i ordered a wifi thing on sept 13 2021. Paid in Cash. And I've been going in to check on the status of my order. The staff dont seem to be too concerned, they say theyre waiting on the supplier passing the buck on. Hay Now if I had ordered from ebay/Amazon I would of had it in three weeks. So i guess the question is, Why is canada computers making interest off my money? Really not the best way to do buisness if you ask me.

Good customer experience, tech fluent staff, good inventory updates.
I bought a USB wifi5 adapter online based on the online stock levels. When I checked a few hours after purchase I noticed the online stock had decreased. Staff helpful and understanding. They even pointed me to a potential issue in my USB 3 ports (driver needed reinstalling). Very happy with purchases and the help they provided.

Canada Computers is often one of my first choices for electronics. Unfortunately my opinion was soured by a recent visit. I only had cash on hand and it was refused with the explanation of "We are waiting for all our staff to be fully vaccinated before accepting cash payments again. "

To me, this is unacceptable given the store's close proximity to one of the easiest to access and probably largest walk-in vaccination clinics in Ottawa; city hall. Which has been taking walk-ins for almost all of August. There is no excuse for employees of this location to not already be fully vaccinated if its impeding their ability to do business. Store policy shouldn't be refusing cash, it should be refusing to offer shifts to anyone negligent enough to have avoided getting their second dose by this point in time.

I also don't know if this is Canada Computer policy in general, or just this specific location. I'd hope it is simply the latter, because I can't see that explanation being anything but absurd at this stage in our nationwide vaccination deployment.

Smaller issue but staff seemed very unprofessional and had an "I don't give a ****" attitude. Store is messy and staff seem there to collect the paycheck, not to actually be kept busy. A lot of just loitering around the front counters and standing around, and very little engagement with the customers. This is an issue definitely just unique to this location, I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at other locations in Ottawa. I am hoping their absurd policy to account for their laziness in getting the second dose (which again, is a 5 minute walk away, every day!) is also unique to this location.

I regretfully brought my PC in for a repair because I was in a rush- however I was told there would be an estimated 2 week wait time.

Then they told me 3 or more weeks. I got a refund. I found out it’s because they only have one repair technician hired for the entire store.

It’s a bit ridiculous to have such a large store and only one guy to fix things.just going to bring my PC somewhere else. As for the parts- you can normally get them on Amazon for cheaper but it’s alright in a pinch.

The staff are extremely rude. Have shopped at Canada Computers for many years in orleans and have had nothing but a great experience. Because of this one experience they have lost me as a customer. Please teach your staff manners and proper knowledge about the products they are selling.

Terrible customer service. Made me pay upfront in full to order a video card, only to hear nothing from the store for 8 months, and then told they couldn't fulfill the order and that I would have to come into the store personally to get my 1200$ that I essentially loaned the store back. 8 months later the cost of the cards has now almost doubled, and the store offered no assistance. Staff is super unprofessional, yelling over customers, and super rude. Would recommend people buy computer equipment anywhere other then Canada Computers.

The staff person was patient and informative in helping me figure out what type of device I might want to upgrade to. Only drawback was the door opener, which didn't seem to work. If I wasn't with someone, I wouldn't have been able to go in.

Where to begin. Looked online at the website, wanted to support a Canadian company during the pandemic saw this laptop. No option to order it and have it shipped to my address, so I looked up the closest store to me. Found one available in a city two hours away from mine, asked for it to be shipped to a store in my city. No problem they said. What was not mentioned was it would take 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS for the product to arrive, from a city that was a 2 hour drive away. Called store twice, no answer both times this was around 7 business days after I ordered the product, went in spoke to someone who mentioned it might take that long, was not mentioned at all during initial purchase.

In addition you needed to PAY for the product before it arrived, and when it does they give you 3 business days to pick it up before the order is cancelled.but it takes them 7-10 for them to ship it to you, I've received international shipments that arrive faster. Overall, not pleased with the buying experience or the customer service response.

Great selection of computer components and peripherals and good prices. The staff always very friendly and helpful. I have had one of my computers repaired here and was very impressed with the work done. During the pandemic, I ordered a few items for pick-up and they were fast and efficient in filling those orders. I was very impressed with their pandemic protocols they put in place.

I walked into the store, with a backpack. Walked passed 3 employees and nothing was said to me. Find an associate willing to converse. Instead of asking if I need assistance. He promptly enforces a no backpack policy. I’m no thief and the other employees were not concerned. If your employees contacted properly, you wouldn’t have as much theft as to impose a no backpack policy. I will never come to this location again!

Called at 4pm on a Sunday and asked for a product to be put on hold, because they were the only location with stock of this item. Planning on picking up first thing the next day because it’s almost 40 degrees out with the humidex, and they close at 6pm. They refused to hold the item over night and asked me to order online if I wanted to ensure it was there in the morning. Customer Service is key to a successful business, shows how bad it’s getting here.

Poor staff; the morning of June 22,2021 the staff were all just hanging out telling stories and giggling, having a grand old time. One of them glares over at me, who needs help, and just continues the story. Messy store, with unboxed products sitting all over the place. I guess they don't want you coming in here.which is unfortunate because I love Canada Computers!

I came in with two thousand dollars cash on hand, looked for computers for 20 mins, right in front of the customer service rep who rather spent all that time talking to another client about halo, who just asked for printout on more information.

In 20 mins no one came to even say hi to a hot buyer who would've been sold on the spot. Kind of disappointing.

Not as much PC stuff available as I hoped. Who comes here to buy TVs and toasters? I expected a computer specialist store not an undersized BestBuy. But for what they had oksy, decent but not excellent store and staff.

Disappointed. Ordered Thermal Paste and went to pick it up and the guy who worked at the counter wouldn't let me take it home, even though the paste was visible from where I was standing.he told me to come back in a business day however tomorrow is a Holiday so I would not be getting it until after that. Canceled my order and went to Memory Express instead as I was able to pick up my order instantly.

Ok to buy stuff but pray you never need their repair services, takes so long that if you actually use your computer for work, buying a new one is a better option than waiting a month for repair.

I needed to buy a laptop today. I wanted to buy from a smaller company and stay away from big box stores. I needed a little help to answer a couple of questions and pick between 2 different laptops on their website and do a curbside pickup. I called to asked my questions and they refused to help over the phone. I would have loved to go in but Covid has the store closed. Called a big box store will my questions and bought there instead. So much for any kind of customer service.

I went in to look for some parts for my first custom water loop, and the employee I spoke to was incredibly helpful, and went so far as to help me plan out the entire loop as well as finding which parts would best match my system esthetics

Great store, great location, inventory showed online not always accurate though, same goes with most other locations I've been to here in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. The website shows they'll have something in stock, but when you go it's not on the shelves. As someone with social anxiety, I don't like having to ask if the staff unless it's behind the counter.

Since we are in lockdown at this time they are not open for in store shopping right now, only curbside pickup, you have to place your order online & they text or email you when your order is ready. Their website is very good at letting you know what they have in-stock & at what location. I placed my order Friday afternoon, got my notification Saturday morning just 10 minutes after they opened i went & picked up my order at thier front door the whole pickup transaction took less then ten minutes. Very efficient service.

Absolutely abysmal management. Tried to purchase a graphics card in person when they popped back in stock, when arrived at the store they told me that the policy is that you have to send an email to reserve a card but when I call stores in Toronto its first come first serve. There is no indication on the website on any of this. Unfortunately they are one of the only retailers in Canada selling these things and picking another retailer is tough. Any time I can avoid CC I will, and I recommend everyone do the same.

15/12/2020: Managers/employees here buy RTX 3080s so that you can't. Called in when they had stock in store online. Got to the store, they had the card but wouldn't sell it to me because someone working for CC put it on hold a few minutes before I got there. Cashier called the manager and they said they aren't going to sell the card and gave no explanation for why it was put on hold. These cards are first-come, first-serve in store sales only.

Won't answer the phone for 2 days. Can't process unpaid instore reservations IN PERSON. Cancels the instock order after waiting 24 hours and even showing up. There's pot stores that opened 6 months ago with flawless online store/pickup systesms while this computer store is FAILING.

Almost as trash as PC cyber, may it rest in peace. CC is headed there.
