With Rory M's help, everything was informative, hastily solved, and was very helpful as well. I had computer issues, brought my whole rig into the shop, they greeted me and helped me immediately. Solving my issues they sent me on my way, and now I'm using the PC I had issues with, to post this message!

Drove almost 2 hours to literally go in and buy a new laptop, only to get the most frustrating experience with an unbelievable employee who knew next to nothing about laptops.
So frustrating. I would not recommend this location in Whitby!

I walked into the shop on Victoria Road in Whitby in a panic. My computer wouldn't start. My stress level was pretty high as I was teaching an online electrical estimating course all day the next day. I knew we could recover all my notes and data and course materials but I couldn't wait 2. Sean F.took a few minutes looked at my laptop and got me up and running in less than a minute. Yes, I will go back.

Great store, great staff. Replaced my card when it was dysfunctional and everyone was very nice!

Would highly recommend never ever coming here. The other reviews are complete lies. Spent 2800$ on a new build here, experiencing issues the next day. Get told on the phone to bring it by, get here and get told it wouldn’t get looked at for 14 days! Great customer service.nice joke. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Was on a tight budget and had a lot of questions. They answered all my questions well and even though I wasn't blowing the bank they treated my business like a priority. I was really impressed by the knowledge of all the employees I came across and huge respects for them being extremely honest/accurate about the differences between their products. No attempts at up selling or offloading bad products which I've seen competitor stores try before. Just nice people too. This store is usually my first choice for buying parts.

Big selection of computer and computer parts. I've been shopping here (& previous location) for years, both for my personal and business computer needs. Recently I built another gaming rig, which is always a bit intimidating. But with a few of CC staff's help (flashback/RGB) it all went well. Great advice, good products and parts suggestions. I've used the online ordering and pickup at the Whitby store for many of my items with great success. Returns with receipts are handled without issue.

The store it self is big, clean and a good layout, easy to navigate through the store. The staff working are very friendly and helpful, after shopping there I noticed an error on my receipt and they corrected it no hesitation.

Exceptional service at all locations. Today was no different, sales was not able to help with my current problem and the service desk came to the rescue. First stop, last stop and only stop for my PC.

Top notch experience with the sales department and with the service department. Efficient, conscientious, friendly and knowledgeable.

Good quick service. Product knowledgable employees who know the inventory and location in store. Had a minor issue with the POS system on checkout and had to wait a few minutes. Dont think this is a common issue and would return again. Highly recommend anyone looking for help with computers to visit this location.

Just purchased an iCan Dragonwar ergonomic gaming chair. $199.99, easy to assemble, well worth the price. The sales associate who assisted me was extremely helpful, unfortunately I didn't get his name. This location is moving to Thickson and Victoria St.

Placed an online order for open box but they wanted to upsell me a new one wouldn't honor price

Information is very spotty. Not well organized, and instead of a happy customer walking out with an order I was sent to another location and then told about the 3 day hold. Nice people but bad business sense!

This store is not honouring warranties. Apparently it’s under new management since the move from Dundas and Thickson. Manager is smug and disrespectful.

Shawn and Nathan are 2 amazing employees at Canada computers helping me with my cpu cooler than even going as far as saving me 30 bucks and giving me and extra black plate that wasn’t in use overall the help at the store is great but these guys went above and beyond so to them I thank you anyways 10/10 if you need computer help come to this one

The store has a generally frustrating checkout, because I often find nobody is actually focused on checkout. If two store members are behind the counter, both of them might become occupied with chatting with customers leaving the line to just.stand there for a while. This doesn't happen every time, but it happens enough to make the store hard to visit to pick up a quick item. One time, while standing in line, I ordered a pizza. The pizza was Ready for Pickup before I reached checkout and I was first in line the whole time.

What a difference 30 minutes makes!
After there was a mixup and terrible service at Best Buy in Oshawa I headed down to Canada computers in Whitby. I was first greeted by Katie and her winning smile to be followed by Mike and Matthew who provided above and beyond customer service. I am in the service industry and this is what it’s all about…!
Got a great deal and matching price to Best Buy. My new destination for anything computer related, thanks Canada computer Whitby team…

Mike and his team are great. My computer had crashed and I instantly thought I needed to go out an buy a whole new computer. I first went to the big box competitor next door. After ten minutes of waiting, and no one coming to help me, I left and went to Canada Computers. They were very friendly, listened to what I needed, and then saved me money by guiding me through how I can fix my computer instead of having to buy a new one. I will be going to this store for all my electronic needs going forward!

Some of the best customer service I've ever had in tech. I had a terrible experience at the Ajax store (do not go there) but Drew, the manger at the Whitby location was a treat. He really cared, made sure I was happy, educated me on the specs and showed me many options. He wasn't in it for the money, or the sale he was really in it for the customer. Please please please go check out drew at the Whitby location he and his staff will get you right:)

I heard they changed management so what use to be a 1 star is now a 2 star. I haven't been to the store in years but this change alone deserves a little bit of recognition!

Know most of the people here and you will not be disappointed. Matthew and Mike are my goto guys for when I need to check my PC in for recommendations. Best CC around easily!

Went there last year to buy a USB speaker. The clerk's service was indifferent and no one else made an attempt to help me. I ended up buying a speaker on Amazon.ca. Canadian retailers give such shoddy service and then wonder why they lose business to online shopping or Amazon.ca.

Great service from young woman at the checkout counter. She found me a VMedia Vbox. The box turned out to be a return. When I tried to get into Netflix, it had someone else's e-mail and info which I could not erase. Therefore, I can't get into Netflix.

This place was amazing! The prices are incredibly impressive. The staff here are very knowledgeable and willing to help. I would say definitely check this place out! Worth it!

Good store, always enjoy going there. Need to have more of the online available stock; people order online in part because the higher end products are never carried in-store. Once online, best price gets it, not the business at all.

Great store. Large selection of computers, perephials and other related supplies and equipment. When it comes to computer stuff, this is my go-to place.

Only Canada computers that doesn't honour the open box policy; manager is greedy for profits ; they want you to pay full price for a floor model chair that people have been sitting in. Employees at different Canada computers couldn't even believe it

The lady who was helping me was great. She knew what she was talking about and was very friendly. The two other guys in the store just wondered around. When i asked the one guy if they had a vega 56 he just looked at me like i had 2 heads. He had no idea what a vega 56 was. To the agerage person thats fine but to a computer store employee what the heck. Also these two guys would be on there phones laughing about something in the middle of the store right infront of me. If i did that i would be fired in no time

No issues with this location or the company as a whole. They were able to source the parts I needes and for the items I wanted they were the best price in Canada.

God I love getting lost in this place. So many cool cables and doohickeys and thingamabobs. Can't seem to stump the employees either, they sure know their stuff.

Great place, wish we had more enthusiast grade PC parts stores around. There is just something nice about buying something and getting it instantly rather than shipped.

Their cables seem to get more and more expensive all the time.but I guess thats the way of things. You can get all sorts of computer and entertainment related stuff here.

Generally find my visits here to be good ones and this particular visit was no different.
We found the hard drive and ink we wanted, but not the TV amplifier we were after. That said I will just order the amplifier off of their website and pick it up at a later date.
We were not approached or greeted by staff while on the store - which would be nice - but once we got to the counter where hard drives are we were promptly and courteously assisted.

I'm pretty bad for buying things, then changing my mind a couple of days later, and having to struggle with returns.i find this location to be exceptional for dealing with my insanity.recommend to everyone i know.

Great selection of computers and electronics. I am a support worker for a young man and the staff always let us use the computers. I really appreciate that. The young man I work with has autism and loves computers. I will continue to purchase all my electronic needs from Canada computers because of their kindness.

3 great things about Canada Computers:
1. If your computer doesn't work you don't have to ship it anywhere to get it fixed
2. You can talk to people who know what they're doing and treat you fairly.
3. They don't load unnecessary bloatware on their PC's so you get better performance.

Good prices, often beat those you can find at Amazon or best buy. Good assortment of products as well. Sales reps can get tied up with other customers, so have to wait to get items behind the counter, but staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful.
Return policy (restocking fee) is the one big drawback of the store, if item works for some things, but has issue with your system (Xbox 360 controller for PC and some games for me), they don't make concessions and will charge you the fee.
