Staff have always been knowledgeable and approachable. I wish the store/aisles were labeled better. They seem to keep much less stock since covid and will sometimes be sold out.

Severe lack of technical knowledge and customer service.

The parts counter was empty and a staff member asked what I was looking for. I wanted a hard drive for my PS4. The agent said "you can't change them". I then asked if he could get me a hard drive anyways and he refused to serve me cause I didn't know what I was talking about. I found another staff member to sell me a hard drive, went home and swapped it out. Super strange experience, PS4 runs great.

Another visit I inquired how long of a USB cable can I attach to a USB camera to extend it. They searched Google and sold me about $150 bucks worth of completely useless USB cables. After researching I found out there are such things as active USB cables for this very application. I had no idea and have lots of useless cable.

Rule of thumb.do ALL your research first then go shopping.

Brought my computer for diagnosis twice because the first diagnosis was wrong, they charged me twice for it despite the first diagnosis being wrong. Told me the problem now is the power supply. They left the cables in and didn't tell me the cables are also completely fried, which if I didn't catch it, it would have fried more of my computer. I got my PC back with the back mesh missing. Overall I can see why alot of 1 stars have to do with diagnosis. The technicians aren't the clear with their conclusion and left me with more problems if I didn't have a friend who knew better.

I don't know how these guys are in the business of diagnosing and fixing computers. They just ruin your computer. Feels like they hire ppl who identify as computer technicians rather than qualified as computer technicians.

Bought a hotas thought the store made a mistake but it was a FAMILY ERROR someone thought they were slick. I feel terrible for this I was ranting about the store and was completely fooled. This store went above and beyond what they had too and PATRICK is a jem of a manager. He knew that the i was wrong but was professional about it and never made me feel stupid. (boy do I now) I would recommend anyone with ANY computer needs to definitely come here.

I am no longer a customer. How an RMA went bad. Son bought motherboard and struggled with it to detect his supported ram. Brought it back. Unaccepted cuz it was dirty with spots of thermal paste. Returned with it after cleaned. Refused because somehow cleaning I we bent a pin. Canada computers refused the RMA even though it could have just for bent pin. The manufacturer doesn't care. But Canada Computer instead decided to protect themselves. Amazon has never given me a problem. I'll be doing all my future spending there. Killer too was even though it was not offered at time, CC could have cleaned the motherboard. They said the didn't offer because it's $200. I'm done with them, they don't even follow their own policies when stuff is sold to you. I miss the choice of stores I had before and it sucks this is only place local. Amazon for me. Better return policies.

UPDATE: I "only" go to CC for minor things, cables and plugs which half the time they don't have anyway. I do my shopping on Amazon and Newegg. For the mild inconvience of waiting a couple days, I always get better deals than CC and never compromise on my choices. CC website is deceptive, conveniently missing options to only show items in stock. Or inaccurate. Go in, 'oh we don't have it. Dang site is not updated. Oh but let me show you this'. This is CC.

My reviews are genuine but more importantly they are honest. Buy elsewhere, don't be the next sucker to walk in their door.

The Orleans store always has advice and insight to fix my issues. I've bought many laptops here and never an issue. They also carry every accessory you could ever need!

Took My computer in to have it upgraded to windows 10. I asked if all of my files would be the same / transferred when this was done was told yes. They called back two days later to say they could not do it and that my hard drive would have to be replaced. I asked again if the files and apps would be the same and again was told yes. I get my computer back and my ms office was no longer on the computer chrome was no longer on the computer the favorites they saved were the wrong ones. I took it back and they said that if I reinstalled MS office that they could recover the outlook files. I called today to say I would have to buy a new copy of ms office and could they recover the outlook files. They then informed me that they could but would have to charge $80 to do it. Do Not take you computer here for service ever.

Went to pick up an online order (30 minutes drive) Order Number: ####470 Order Date: November 14,2022. What a warm welcome (sarcasm) by the short clerk long hair dude.did not even greeted me or look at me in the eye, (busy looking at his monitor) no attempts to find my order, repeating constantly "store policy! " Even the tall guy at his side did not helped nodding his. I have my ID and Visa card, easy enough to confirm my identity, no "store policy! ". Felt unwelcome and discriminated. Cancel order and the guy said, no problem. (shaking my head, I could not believe it).
Went to the Gatineau store (13 minutes drive) for my other online order, WOW! Thank you Anthony. He at least offered proper assistance and greetings. Money well spent at the Gatineau store.

I ordered a computer online for pickup, and they gave the option brand new or open box for a lower price. I ordered brand new and went to collect it the next day. The clerk behind the counter got my order, but I noticed my box was in a bad shape. I asked him if it was open box. He said no, but we got a manager to check it. The manager said it was indeed open box. He noticed it also miss the power cord. He was kind, and he offered the open box price, but we will need to wait 20 minutes so the system can change the price. We came back after 20 minutes in store, and the manager stopped us to inform that the Wifi antenna was also missing, but he said the clerk is trying to find a solution for us. I went to the counter for the clerk and asked him what now. He just said that someone was in the back searching for a spare WiFi antenna. So I went browsing for other computers to see if something else could replace the open box pc. I found an exactly pc, but white instead of black. Go back to the clerk for an update on the antenna. He started punshing in the computer and was ready to sell us the PC without updating on the missing WiFi. I told him to wait up, is the wifi there? He said no. I was like, for real? I'm not buying then, but I told him there is another computer that I could get for the same price instead. He said to talk to the manager. Then I said to call him in then. The manager comes back and agrees that two pc are the same. So he equal the price and was able to solve my problem and made a happy customer. Thanks, Patrick!

Came here to ask about printers. The guy I spoke to clearly did not want to be at work. He was not interested in helping or making a sale and was actually physically walking away from me as I was asking questions. Definitely not coming back here.

Placed a pick up order for a laptop yesterday, the salesman didn’t check my id, he was rude af, didn’t care to explain any store policies or offer any services. I know it was nearing closing time, but his actions were more discriminatory than rude. Had to drive 30 minutes to get discriminated by the salesperson. Will not be coming back:) Kudos to the other lady salesperson there who actually answered my other questions <3

I was at CC with my bf, his dad and his brother. The worker named Liam is a very sweet man. It's so nice to have someone who is knowledgeable and looks like they love their job. Got nice new Logitech G335 headphones through their professional recommendation. It was pleasant speaking to them.:)

I brought my computer in for a rebuild, I switched motherboard, cpu & water cooler for newer parts, the team there forgot to take out my nvme off my old motherboard & never placed it onto my new one (that storage had windows on it). They then proceeded to plugging in my hardrive into the wrong slot, causing me multiple problems with booting up my pc & getting it out of the bios screen. The wiring job was absolutely horrid (back and front). They left one of my fan wires infront of my gpu, completely ruining the asthetics of the pc (picture added) I called & complained was told the bring the pc back in and I dint feel like waiting an additional week so I fixed the issues myself with an IT friend. Payed over 100$ for a half built pc. NEVER taking my pc there for issues again.
